  1. IC: Zakaro (Comfort Sector)

Time froze, the world shifted, and Zakaro landed on his bunk. He blinked, and then realized it. He hadn't seen any combat that round.

Cue swearing, cue kicking the bedpost, and cue hopping around on one foot in pain and anger.

Huffing, the purple-masked warrior decided that there would be only one easy way to make up for that, and that would be a long session of beating up stuff in the Training Sector.

Storming out the door, he promptly slammed into the door frame between the Comfort and Commercial Sector

Cue swearing that would make a Skakdi proud.

    IC: Nisaduf (Commercial Sector)

The Fe-Matoran blinked slowly. The match was over, wasn't it? Had she been talking to someone?

Nisaduf frowned. She didn't leave someone hanging, did she? Probably. Oh well, Taravaka won! That was just so cool! And then she gasped.

    Autographs.

It wouldn't be entirely out of the ordinary, but at the very least it was amusing to see a little Matoran gasp, squeal, and then sprint out of the Sector in a hurry, searching for a writing thing and paper or at least something to write with because worst comes to worst her mask had space!

It was by pure chance that she barreled around a corner and nearly smashed into Noroi, the little Matoran careening to a side and skidding to a halt as she spoke, apologizing and questioning in one long phrase.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I was going too fast and I almost hit you! Say, by any chance, do you know where I could get something to write with? I really really really need it, otherwise I won't be able to get people's signatures and that would be so sad, I've waited so so long for this chance and I don't want to miss it!"

As was characteristic, Nisaduf paused, gasped for breath, and then spoke again.

"Karz, I did it again, didn't I? Totally forgot myself in everything, my apologies! I'm Nisaduf, and I'm just really really excited to be here!"

It was almost comical, with both the height difference and the stark contrast of the bouncing, energetic Matoran to Noroi's armored, stoic form.

OOC: Zak's open for interaction, Nisa found some.

  2. IC: Zakaro (Taravaka, with Riss, approaching explosion site)

He only grins in reply, retrieving his broadsword from his back to whirl it around in his right hand as he follows Riss, Pakari beginning to glow faintly as Zakaro prepares to fight. An earthen sphere forms in his hand as he takes the time to make it dense and heavy, preparing a powerful initial attack.

Manipulating one's element, once it's already formed, it much easier than creating it out of thin air. Or, rather, water. Better to have it ready now and not waste time and energy later, right?

    Right.

Zakaro's not a veteran of Bionifight just for the laughs, after all.

  3. IC: Zakaro (Taravaka, with Riss)

"Alright then," Zakaro replied, taking the analysis in stride. He supposed it wasn't all that surprising, considering how sensitive Zakaro himself was to the movements of the earth.

He spoke again, pausing in his movement forwards.

"Think it's worth investigation? At the least, something's happening, and that's more interesting than talking to each other. No offense, but that's more out-of-the-arena stuff, we're in here to fight."

  4. IC: Zakaro (Taravaka, with Riss)

"I've had one or two," the Onu-Toa replied, trotting after his upbeat companion.

"Most notable was probably this one tournament where I and a hardlight guy had almost a competition of sorts. Something along the lines of who could get the most spectacular KO's and even deaths one round. He won lots of those. Hardlight's a lot more flashy than earth in that sense."

As he stepped across the crystal, Zakaro paused for a moment, frowning.

    "I... Did you hear that?"

Even as he asked the question, he berated himself. If he, an Onu-Toa, had perhaps heard something, it was doubtless that the Toa of Sonics just ahead wouldn't have. Unless it was all in his head.

    That had happened before.

  5. I'm back, was unable to access internet for a while. Sorry for not saying anything, Tiragath and Zakaro. I'll probably continue posting later today.

That's perfectly fine! We had fun dealing with, working with, and trying to wake up Feli. :P

Just as an FYI, Feli is currently laying in the center of a earthen dome which may or may not be naught but muck at this point, and that whole thing is in an alleyway. Not much more than that is defined, so roll with it however you wish. ^_^

  6. IC: Zakaro (Taravaka, with Riss)

"Can't say there's anyone in particular that I'm looking for, although it might be nice to see someone from a previous round. Once met a really cool guy who was pretty good with hardlight, think he called himself some number," Zakaro replied, smiling to himself. With a quick application of Earth, a crystal sunk into the muck while the mud rose and solidified to meet it half way, forming a half-decent hill that would be easy to walk over in comparison to trying to scale the smooth surface of the crystal itself.

"Might be a few others, but not off the top of my head. I mainly look forward to meeting people each tournament and starting things over again, it's fun enough."

  7. IC: Zakaro (Taravaka, with Riss

He smirks back at the other Toa, glad to see her mood has improved since dealing with the water. Turning to proceed forward again, he replies.

"Naught but our own conversation and affirmation, milady! Onwards!"

It's only a short time later that the duo comes upon what looks to be the remains of one of Taravaka's barricades, though they're approaching from what is possibly their side, due to a large amount of silt and mud built up against the side of this particular crystal barrier. Zakaro pauses, glancing around, before speaking.

"Seems we're getting somewhat closer to the middle. Odd that the place is still so empty, though that wave probably knocked out quite a few fighters."

  8. IC: Zakaro (Taravaka, with Riss)

The Onu-Toa just blinks for a second, before bursting out in chuckles, grinning right back at the Mohtrek-wearer and taking her hand, shaking it.

"I suppose that explains the eternal mystery of where the spectators are! Pleased to meet you, Miss Sunburst, and I can't blame you for wanting in on the action."

He chuckles again before adding, "Though I can see why some would despise this entire thing, it's certainly more interesting than anything that happens in my home. Perhaps that's why I keep coming back, or maybe I just failed hilariously enough the first time around to be brought back in hopes of greater failings!"

  9. IC: Zakaro (Taravaka, with Riss)

"The best thing is probably to head towards the center of the city. The water might've washed some people towards that area for us to fight," he responded automatically, bringing to mind his other times within Mahri Nui.

"Main thing to watch for is the threat of attack from above. Many people will take advantage of what's basically the ability of really, really slow flight for everyone to try and capitalize on the altered environment."

There was a moment of silence, as Zakaro considered a few other options, weighing them against his partner's abilities, before just what she said actually registered in his brain.

"Wait, you know I'm a veteran?"

  10. IC: Zakaro (Taravaka, with Riss and Feli

"..I suppose so," he replies, leaning down to prop Feli up against the wall more. Adjusting her, he steps back, muttering slightly to himself as he works.

"Sure hope you're not afraid of small spaces, sister."

And with that, he threw up a curving wall of earth, protecting Feli from general view and perhaps a stray attack or two. He debated with putting a roof on it for a second or so, before shrugging and turning away, walking forwards.

"Not sure how effective that'll be, or how long it'll last before becoming nothing but mud to be washed away in a current, but it might help, at the least."

  11. IC: Zakaro (Taravaka, with Riss and Feli)

As the sound slowly faded, Zakaro glanced over at Feli, who had somehow managed to avoid waking up throughout that entire process. He suppressed a groan. Karz, the gal was really out, wasn't she?

The Onu-Toa stood contemplating things for a while before turning to Riss, frowning slightly as he spoke.

"Well then. I'd say we have two options, and I don't really like either, but not much we can do. Either we leave Feli here, hide her somewhere and hope a Muaka doesn't come along and take advantage, or I carry her as we go looking for other teammates or a lone Muaka."

  12. IC: Zakaro (Taravaka, with Riss and Feli)

The Onu-Toa had no reply, he just held the quivering, noisy thing as far away from himself and as close to Feli as he could. If this didn't wake her up, he wasn't sure what would.

  13. IC: Zakaro (Taravakawith Riss and Feli)

"Sounds good, although I have my doubts about the wall surviving." With a shrug and a chuckle, the Onu-Toa smacks the base of the stand against the wall, nearly crashing through the wall but producing a nice vibration. Without pausing, he leans down to place it nearby Feli's head before the vibrations cease.

  14. IC: Zakaro (Taravaka, with Riss and Feli)

    "Sounds good."

With that, he proceeds forward, walking for a while before coming to an alleyway. It seems quiet enough, so he motions for Riss to come over and slips inside, removing Feli from his shoulder and propping her up against the wall.

Kneeling down so that he's on her level, Zakaro shakes her once or twice to no affect. Pausing, he turns to Riss and speaks.

"Do you think you could create a localized alarm of sorts to wake her up?"

    IC: Nisaduf (Commercial Sector)

Even as she waits, looking around a bit and waiting to be addressed again, she can hear a faint voice in her mind. Psionics user. Great. She'd really need to look into mental shielding, it would not do at all to be an open book to anyone with the slightest control over the mind. It would be terrible if she couldn't become one of her heroes, after all. She's dreamed of this.

The only physical action she takes is to look around the room again more cautiously, looking for anyone who might have done that.

  15. IC: Zakaro (Taravaka with Riss and Feli)

He lets a grin of his own surface, although since they're underwater that's perhaps not exactly what he wants to do at the moment. Ignoring digressing, Zakaro nods in reply, speaking as well as he walks forward, looking for a place with some cover to try and rouse Feli.

"I think that's very helpful. Even if I have to be your legs, this means you're back in the fight."

Zakaro's grin widens, before he glances over at Feli and his face falls slightly.

"Let's find a covered area and try to get her up and about. Once she's up, then we've no reason to just hide for fear of losing injured teammates."

  16. IC: Zakaro {HP: 19/20, Pts: 0}

As was the usual, Zakaro quickly got lost in everything. He wasn't entirely sure what happened here or there, but somehow he was still alive, not dead, and actually kinda okay.

He decided the best thing to do would be to just stay out of it for now. Conserve energy and all that, while keeping his phone pole threateningly ready to smash the skull or legs of anyone who got too close.

  17. IC: Zakaro (Taravaka, with Riss and Feli)

As Riss hit the ground, Zakaro landed only a few seconds afterwards, his own dense earthen boots making the trip easy enough, even with Feli still on his shoulder. A quick glance at the other Toa had him speaking again, trying to reassure her and get moving.

"Don't worry about breath, the mutations take care of that well enough for you. Feeling alright?"

  18. IC: Zakaro (Taravaka, With Riss and Feli)

He grins back at Riss, lightened by, at the least, her putting on a brave face, and backs away while carefully tightening the boots around Riss's feet, securing them for as long as the material chooses to stay solid.

"Alright, you can either jump in and let the boots do the work or slide in and I'll grab onto you and bring all of us down together."

With another slight application of his power, Zakaro himself was now wearing a pair of dense earthen boots, and his Pakari glowed a little, showing the effort he was now maintaining in staying just above the water's surface. The weight of two Toa, plus dense boots made to allow someone to 'walk' on the seafloor, was quite heavy.

  19. IC: Zakaro (Taravaka, with Riss and Feli)

"Indeed I am," he replied, creating a pair of dense earthen boots just beside Riss, slightly bigger than her feet so that she could get them on easily. Even as he treads water, he once again shifts the prone body of Feli on his shoulder. One good hit and she's gone. With luck she'll wake up soon, but if not then he'll have to try to force her awake once they reach a reasonably safe location.

"It's understandable, we all have our own personal demons. Never liked fire and lava, myself, though I suppose just plain water and submerging are different enough one might not bother you while the other isn't all that comfortable.."

He slides back into silence, not entirely sure where to go with things, before continuing.

"Those boots are pretty dense, and as long as you stay nearby me I can keep them from just deforming into mud and sliding off. Once you get them on, I'll tighten them around your feet and we can head on down. Sound good?"

  20. IC: Zakaro (Taravaka)

The Onu-Toa paused as he floated nearby, even as the water continued to rise. Feli was still on his shoulder, but Riss too? That was more of a problem. She obviously didn't want to go underwater, and yet soon enough the entire arena would be nothing but it. Shifting Feli over a bit and checking her vitals quickly to make sure that, at the least, she hasn't slowing down into a KO, he pondered things for a moment before speaking.

"The way I see it, you can either go under now, of your own will, or later being forced. In any case, I'd much rather be on the floor than up here and totally surrounded by venues of attack, so I'm going to have to go down soon enough. You can come with me or stay here, your choice."

He gives the singer an awkward smile, before making sure that he was still holding Feli both securely and, ahem, erm... within safe locations. Zakaro had no desire to repeat the problem he had before with Olari.

    IC: Nisaduf (Commercial Sector)

"That's the spooky, mysterious part," the Nynrah Ghost replied, eyes wide as she wiggled her fingers about in some sort of magical, strange way.

"No-body knows anything much about the Host or the Queen, just that they're tall, mysterious, and run the whole Bionifight Tournament! Only thing that's agreed on is that they're not a race anyone's ever really seen, though the same could be said for tons and tons of fighters they've had. That's what makes Bionifight so unique! No other tournament in the universe-ses? Universi? Universuses? ...Multiversal Network has contestants from sooo many different places, times, and alternate realities!"
