  1. IC: Teravix "I don't come here that often, you choose."
  2. I had a character that got an artificial limb a while back, that was an interesting process to write. I just had the arm have two hooks at the end that he could barely close and open. While he could move his shoulder, his elbow was locked in place. Here is what it looked like.
  3. IC: Teravix Teravix followed the group, not sure what is waiting for them in Ko-Koro. "If we are looking for a boat, shouldn't we head to Ga-Koro?" He asked while getting on the Ussal taxi.
  4. IC: Akata Akata was handcuffed and was being escorted by the Ta-Koro guard into some sort of dungeon. Instead of struggling, he cooperated with the guard. He kept himself calm, even though he was in the toughest pinch in his life. However, if everything went according to plan, he would only have to keep up this guise for a little more than an hour. Using his control over plantlife, Akata began working on making a weapon. Using a tremendous amount of concentration, he was able to grow a small piece of bamboo in his own mouth, being careful for the guards not to notice. Akata used the small piece of bamboo and a small amount of the toxin he conjured up earlier to fashion a miniature blow-dart. Rolling the blow-dart to one side of his mouth, Akata shot the toxin at one guard, then rolled it to the other side to shoot the other. Akata made sure that the dart was small enough to be mistaken for nothing more than a small insect. The guards didn't seem to react, but that also might mean that he missed. If he did get a direct shot, the toxin should make the guards pass out in about an hour. Akata stealthily shot at any guard he saw passing bye, hoping for his aim to be true. Finally, the two guards and Akata reached their destination in the upper dungeons. As Akata met his interrogator, he shot his dart once more before quickly absorbing his make-shift weapon back into his body. His last though before talking was "I hope to Mata Nui I didn't miss those shots."
  5. I have a character in the BZPRPG being held captive by the Ta-Koro guard for questioning, how much damage is he allowed to cause to the guard in order to escape?

    1. Krayzikk

      Krayzikk

None immediately, as that would be autohitting. As is described in the rules, you may start an escape. The reaction to that escape will be handled either by PCs in the area, or NPCs controlled by me.

  6. IC: Teravix "I do have a slightly modified iStone that lets me keep track of the name and location of each star, including some constellations. However, I seem to be a bit low on cards. I don't think we have officially met, by the way, I'm Toa Teravix." He said, reaching out a hand to JL, "And you are?"
  7. IC: Teravix "Thank you!" Teravix eagerly said, "But first, could you tell me some of the details of this trip, like how big is the crew, what are we traveling in, and how long will our supplies last?"
  8. IC: Toa Teravix "A voyage in the direction of the Red Star, fascinating! I have several pieces of equipment that will aid you in your voyage, and I'll give it all to you for free if you let me come along too. As long as I get a decent place to sleep and good meals, the chance to discover is the only pay I need."
  9. IC: Teravix "Of course" Teravix said while reaching into his bag, and assembled a long, polished bronze telescope on a tripod. "Of course I can't give a demonstration in broad daylight, but this is one of the best ways to analyze the night sky." While he clicked each piece of the telescope into place, he said "I have spent many nights using these to try to figure out what the stars actually are. Some think that stars are the dead, looking back at us from the heavens. Some think that they are pieces of the Great Spirit, and the Red Star is his heart. As for me, I think that as I look at a star, someone else may be looking back at me. I would give anything to figure out what exactly they are, and I'm getting closer and closer with these telescopes."
  10. IC: Teravix "I made it myself" Replied the Toa of Gravity, pleased in his work. "I designed and crafted everything I sell, and the materials used to make them are collected from all over the island. The glass in that telescope, for instance, is made from the finest sand on the Ga-Koro bay, and cooked into glass in the furnaces of Ta-Koro. These lenses are crystal clear and in perfect focus. I even attached a smaller version of it on my own mask." Teravix said, tapping the telescopic lens on his Kanohi Calix. "What makes these lenses so special and different is that it can focus on different distances simply by looking into a different part of the the lens, instead of manually moving them, it's very convenient. The top half focuses on things very far away, and the bottom half focuses on things that are closer. I also have telescopes made more for studying the stars, and small, compact spyglasses, if that's what you're interested in."
  11. IC: Teravix The Toa of Gravity walked into Po-Koro with his bag of watches, music boxes, and telescopes. He felt like he was boiling under his black and purple armor. After he cleaned the sand out of the telescopic lens on his mask, he pushed his way into the overcrowded Po-Koro market and began selling. Instantly, he found himself having much more success than when he was in Ta-Koro. If it weren't for the intense heat, he might want to open up a booth here.
  12. IC: Teravix Teravix wandered the streets of Ta-Koro trying to sell any of his clockwork contraptions, and failing. He had hardly sold even one wristwatch, and even then he had to cut the price down. If he didn't start selling, he wouldn't have any widgets left to buy food. Disappointed, he left Ta-Koro, hoping to find more business in another Koro. OOC: Teravix to Po
  13. IC: Akata "Of course" Akata said, surprised that his lie worked as well as it did, "Anything to help the Guard." No matter how well his lie was working, it wouldn't last forever. Because he thoroughly cleaned off his staff, it wouldn't stand out from all the other piles of weapons it was with, which he was thankful for. But he would need to escape before they uncovered any other evidence. Akata knew he would not be able to take on all the guards at once in combat, but there were other ways. A plan formed in his mind, and he began working. While he asked questions, he remembered. He thought back to Le-Wahi, and the variety of plants he came across there. He found one plant in particular, a Vuata Maca tree. Usually, Vuata Maca trees were used as an energy source in the Koros. However, every now and then one could get poisoned. Akata was lucky enough to come across a poisoned Vuata Maca sapling, and absorbed it. Akata learned from a Rahi Trapper that the toxin from a poisoned Vuata Maka tree slowly leeches the energy out of almost anything it touches, and if consumed, can render the victim unconscious for days. However, it has a very delayed reaction, and wont take effect until about an hour has passed, and it can be cured with ground Vuata Maka crystals, but those were hard to come by. "So, what will become of me?" He asked, getting ready to recreate the toxin when the moment was right.
  14. Granted, you know how to spell it. I wish I could draw much better than I can now.
  15. IC: Akata "Well I don't deny that I'm selling off everything in this store, since that's what the owner told me to do. I came to this store yesterday, and the owner came up to me and asked if I could get rid of everything in his store. He seemed to be in a hurry to run off, he didn't even tell me his name. He must have known someone was going to come after him. I accepted it because, well, I need the money. I arrived on this island only about a week ago, and the canister didn't come with a bag of widgets. I know it sounds unlikely, but do you really think I would be stupid and careless enough to kill someone, leave him in an ally, and sell off all his items in a village known for its guard? It's almost insulting..."
  16. I'd like the Ignika in black, and how it is shown in Bionicle Heroes. And a head that is compatible with ALL masks, although I'm not sure how that would be possible.
  17. I use an Olmak to go to a new reality where there is an infinite number of masks. Everybody's mask.
  18. This is almost exactly what I expected. I missed doing this...
  19. IC: Akata Akata had severally underestimated the village. Then again, he was in a building full of weapons. Akata thought quickly, he had been in several tight pinches before back in Le-Koro, but there he was surrounded by his element. But wait, did she say Toa Ramai? He might just be able to bluff his way out of this. Putting his weapon away, he opened the door with a confused look on his face. "I'm not Toa Ramai, what's going on here? Who's Toa Ramai?"
