  1. Five out of the six barraki (exluding Ehlek) belonged to a species that could wear and use kanohi. My question is: Which kanohi do you think they would have if they chose to wear masks? Which masks would make sence to each character?
  2. Ehlek is from his own species, that much we know, since the Order of Mata Nui gathered them and prepared them for fighting Makuta forces. They are aquatic, but they do not have electric spines like Ehlek's mutated form. This much info can be found via the serials and possibly earlier Greg answers (I got it via BS01), but we don't know anything in detail about the other Barraki. We know that Kalmah used to only have two eyes, and that Takadox had a hypnotic stare even before his mutation increased its power. Their pre-Pit shapes can only be guessed at. It would be nice to know a bit more about them, but their exact shapes might be speculation questions. Greg can't really answer that. After a quick look at BS01, I did see that some of the Barraki are confirmed to be diffrent species. However, it also says that Mata Nui created the Barraki to bring peace, not to fight the Brotherhood, that was later. Nowhere does it say that they were "picked out", but that they were created for that one and only purpose. Mata Nui probably chose to make them different species with unique abilities for different millitary tactics. Ok, here are the questions: Were the Barraki origionally created to be warlords, or just picked out from their species? Also, what was Mata Nui's reasoning behind making them the six warlords?
  3. Speaking of vague.. I would like to know a bit more of the Barraki's past. Are they all the same species, even though some origionally had abilities others didn't? Is their any more of their species, if they are a species? Are they at all assosiated with the element of their color? Is there anything else about their past that we can know? I just find the Barraki very interesting characters... I think we would have more luck asking "What exactly happened?" kind of questions, rather than "What would have happened?" or "What will happen?" kind of questions.
  4. Probably so he wouldnt interfere too much with anyone else's actions to a large extent. Riddles would just help hint the matoran what they should do, without actually telling them.
  5. Your making a modification, S-P? Cool! Good luck with it, it looks like you're going into pretty complicated modding there. Whats it called?
  6. Just to clear this up (even though it's a bit off-topic) The teleporter of the red star going back to the MU was broken, so any revived being stays in the Red Star. Also, the residents of the island would notice the body dissapearing, but they would just think that their body is becoming one with mata nui. Basically, all that I was asking was if the body dissapears.
  7. Soo, I've been reading the funeral in Ko-Wahi, and somthing came to mind. In the red star story update a while back, GregF said that when a MU inhabitant dies, their body is teleported to the Red Star. He said that everyone else saw this as them becoming one with Mata Nui. Is this being reflected in this RPG?
  8. Quote from BIONICLEsector01: "The Naming Day concept was created by The LEGO Group when they were requested to change the names of several characters to avoid a lawsuit by representatives of the Maori people, who were angry that The LEGO Group was misusing words of their language. Some of the names changed were not from the Maori language, but rather from different Polynesian languages." The lawsuit had nothing to do with copyright issues, but simply because the Maori people thought the Bionicle words were "misused". The Maori tribe must have decided that other Bionicle words, such as "Toa" or "Kopaka", were not misused.
  9. --- He probably just wasn't allowed to use the name "Jala" any more. "Jala" was changed to "Jaller" because Pacific Islanders took legal action to change it because "Jala" (along with other names) were based off of their language. After that, he probably wasn't allowed to use that name again.
  10. So probably, if I have time tomarrow, the feast in Ko-Wahi begins. Muahahaha! I have been waiting to do this for quite some time now...
  11. Wait, no kohli field? Did they not build one untill after the events in mnolg 1?
  12. I just made two new matoran, twins. Should be interesting.
  13. IC: Mambo Mambo watched as the Matoran scurried through Ko-Koro. There was no point chasing after her. He then whispered to himself: "Run, little Matoran, run and spread fear throughout the village. Get everyone ready for the feast."
  14. IC: Mambo "Thank you, little Matoran, for bringing me here. Go into the village. Tonight, I will feast. I think I'll start with you." Mambo said, ready to strike the Matoran with his spiked sword.
  15. IC: Mambo This matoran showed little to no fear. Bravery? Maybe. Foolishness? More likely. Either way, the insane Toa followed the Matoran back to Ko-Koro, ready to feed.
  16. IC: Mambo: "You make jokes while I starve to death. Go home, lead me out of this freezing prison. Tell me the Onu-Matoran principle, the one that I lack. And tell me it's enemy, the thing I have become."
  17. IC: Mambo Mambo ignored the snow, and continue approaching the matoran. Speaking through the false mouth, he said: "You say you have no food, but what are you? What? Are you scared? Are you afraid I will kill you? Well, I won't. Not yet. I may be hungry, but I am no fool. Run home, little Matoran. Run home to your nice warm little hut, with all your little friends. But tell them this: I am hungry. And I will feed."
  18. IC: Mambo. Mambo started walking towards the matoran like a Muaka stalking its prey. Suddenly, using the mask of illusion, the Toa's body turned a pale white. Muscles bulged out from his arms and legs, and his hands turned into sharp claws. Then, the Toa's head looked as if it had been sucked into his body, and two beady black, lidless eyes opened on each shoulder. A large, shark-like mouth opened on his torso, revealing rows of sharp, white teeth. He looked like an albino, headless, muscular monster with his face on his chest. While this was all mearly an illusion, he looked very frightening. He held his spiked sword in hand, or claw as it seemed, and was ready to pounce on the matoran.
  19. IC: Mambo Mambo slowly got to his feet, rubbing his eyes. Again, he repeated in a more hostile tone "Food!". His body started shimmering and shifting. Since he was insane, he could not control his mask of illusion.
  20. IC: Mambo Mambo looked up with an insane look in his eyes. He stared at the Matoran and said in a raspy and needy voice "food?"
  21. IC: Mambo. Mambo had lost his mind. He had been wandering in the drifts, starving, catching rahi to keep himself alive for quite some time now. Just as he was about to reach the edge of the drifts, he passed out from hunger. He lay motinless, his green armor standing out from the white snow. OOC: Open for interaction.
  22. Ok, mambo is pretty behind times (since he has been lost in Ko-koro wandering the wastelands for some time now). But the next character I'm making would know. Who wants some interaction in Le-Wahi?
