  1. It could be because you included the link to your MOC along with a question about entering, so it maybe looked like you are enquiring about the possibility of entering your MOC instead of actually entering it. You could try to contact one of the admins; they might be able to help.
  2. This is magnificent! I'm not sure what else to say… just… wow. This is top notch. This is the highest notch of them all! Keep up the good work!
  3. Yes! Combiners are back! To be honest, I have never been a huge fan of combiners, but these really caught my eye. The lower arms on Tahatu are well made, and pretty much everything about Kopali is brilliant. His/Her shoulders are really well made, with a more sturdy construction than I was expecting. Plus his/her weapons! The staff is elegant and the combined stud shooter and claw actually has a gear function! Oh and Kopali has a monocle. Just… yes!
  4. Nice! You've captured the thought that truth as an ideal is, at its basis, only found in our heads, and done so very well! 'Tis a very interesting discussion point captured in thy prose. Keep up the good work!
  5. The names I actually found pretty ok. A nice amount of 'k's. Though they are kinda odd, when you relate them to the names of the past, and they seem they they don't all have a common feeling. With the old Turaga and Matoran the names were different, but all sounded like they came from the same language (though perhaps that is my nostalgia talking). These names… not so much. Still they aren't too bad. The only one I don't like is Narmoto, it just doesn't seem to fit with its neighbours. The writing style isn't bad, if a little bland. I mean it's not like we should be expecting Pratchett levels of prose or anything, but still. This isn't on par with Farshtey at all (though, again, that could be my nostalgia talking). Also am I the only one who laughed out loud when they first read Bingzak's name? If he is eventually going to become the new seventh Toa I really hope he changes his name...
  6. Well I'm not sure about other characters, but as for the Doctor you switch between his incarnations by dying and regenerating back as the next Doctor in the cycle. I am so excited!!
  7. Oh this is going to be so awesome! The voices are perfect! I can't wait to hear the audiobook.
  8. HA! I have finally updated my profile!

  9. Yes! Doctor Who Lego is now a possibility!

  10. Everything is awesome!

  11. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Hearth's Warming!

  12. I was always partial to the Electro Chute Blade. It just seems like such a cool concept to me.
  13. I can't believe the contest in finally over! After 6 months and 19 days of judging, we finally have the conclusion. So I guess congratulations are in order! Congratulations Legolover! I hadn't actually read your entry until 10 minutes ago, and now having read it I can see why it got first place. I am surprised (though also very happy!) that my entry tied with yours, because in my opinion your writing style is better then mine. Also congratulations to Click! You portrayed the aftermath of Lesovikk's battle with the Zyglak very well indeed. Also thank you to everyone who participated in this contest! Without all your help, none of this could have happened. Now please excuse me, I have to go jump up and down in joy.
  14. What's the point in being grownup if you can't be childish sometimes!

  15. Happy Thanksgiving!

  16. Happy 50th anniversary Doctor Who!

  17. Hey Legolover Since we lost most of the recent information regarding the contest, could you say again how many ranked list you have gotten, how many you are waiting for, and other related questions.
  18. Happy Nightmare Night everypony!

  19. I would have to go with five, it was just great (and reminded me a bit of rosencrantz and guildenstern are dead). I also quite liked the concept of number four, which was interesting.
  20. I think I would have to go with the soundtrack for Web of Shadows, I found that awesome. Though I do also like Crashed and Gravity Hurts (oh and Move Along).
  21. I think the official number is 1000, but that most of the Matoran are not seen in MNOG1 just because at the time Lego didn't know how big the villages were going to be (I think they were considering just 12 Matoran per village at that time, though I could be wrong). By MNOG2 they had decided to make the villages bigger to accommodate more Matoran, but they still hadn't decided on 1000 as the official number. I think the canon reason that you never see 166 Matoran in each village is because in MNOG1/MNOG2 you only see select portions of each area, and that most of the Matoran are either off screen but in the villages, or are off somewhere else on Mata Nui. Hope that helps.
  22. I know that this statement has been said at least a dozen times in this topic, but still, here I go: Congratulations THL and Turakii! I hope you have a truly fantastic life together! (also that cake is totally awesome!)
  23. I doubt that the Great Beings placed the design in the hands of the Skrall, because why would they give up the layout of their quite impenetrable fortress to a band of warlike beings who might try to invade the maze. I also doubt that some Skrall managed to map the place, because that maze is pretty hard to get through. I personally think that the maze design is just supposed to give the impression of the maze, and that in the Skrall culture it could represent power, or wisdom, or bravery, or something. As we have seen the Skrall have a very strict social order that is set around the glory of battle and similar concepts, so I think it would be plausible that the Skrall adopted the Symbol and incorporated it into their culture just because to them it represents something significant. And as long as it represents something significant they are going to continue to put it on there shields, no matter how hard they are to make, because just like with us humans if you give something meaning, people will hang onto it. If the design represents anything that I mentioned above, or anything similar, then I suspect the Skrall would do the same as us.
