  1. IC: Sai'kun From a nearby balcony, Sai’kun watched as the skakdi monologued and the officer (he believed his name was Zaak) comprehend his mistake. A decoy. How quaint. He did feel responsible for the situation. After all, he did start the fight with that freeze disk fiasco, and the police were trying to do their job for once. Their leader was probably still sprawled on the ground outside the alehouse. But now, he had to focus on helping the Toa. He removed a Ta-metru weakening disk, power level 5, from his pack. Since it was a Ta-metru disk, it would hopefully knock him down and make him too weak to get back up. Good luck fighting, filth, he thought to himself. Then he aimed the launcher and fired.
  2. IC: Sai'kun Cops! Now this was going to be tricky. Or not. The police in this city weren't particularly noted for their enforcement of the law. For all he knew, they were working with the slavers. It was time for action. He had, after all, been holding his disk launcher for a long time, and he was on edge. It was time for action. Just to be safe, no deadly force against the police in the event that they were actually trying to help for once. Wasting no more time, Sai'kun picked up a rock and threw it at the window, shattering it, following up by firing his freeze disk at a slaver through the hole in the wall.
  3. IC: Sai'kun Sai'kun watched as three figures entered Artahka's Alehouse. Slavers. The scum of the universe. He remembered a time when such a practice was scrutinized by all, but now it was common. He really wanted to kill someone. Too much injustice had occurred in this city, and if the cops weren't willing to do it, then it was time to bring back good old-fashioned Toa justice. Except this time, there would be no restraints. Attaching a disk launcher to the empty mechanical socket of his artificial right arm, Sai'kun selected a disk with the numbers 425. Ko Metru disks that dodges obstacles to get to target. Freezes target. Power level six. Perfect. Sai'kun smiled and aimed his disk launcher at one of the figures that he could see through a window, waiting for them to start the fun.
  4. “I lived through the Cataclysm. I helped make this world a Utopia. I built this city, and by the Great Beings I’ll tear it down.” -One of Sai’kun’s many rants Name: Sai’kun Species: Male Ta-Matoran Affiliation: Being disillusioned due to the history of the city, Sai’kun does not really trust anyone but himself. Powers: Intelligence bordering on the edge of insanity and heat resistance. Gear: A small forge hammer and an ancient akilini disk launcher with various disks depending on the situation. However, due to his lack of a decent forge, he only has access to level four to five disks on average, although he did make a level 8 disk at one point through sheer luck. He has most types of disks stored away in some hidey-holes around the city. In addition, he has various gadgets and gismos such as weak cloaking device and a jump pack, but more often than not, they explode. In addition, Sai’kun has a few flash grenades to get him out of sticky situations. Skills: Years of living in this city have taught him the art of guerilla warfare. He usually likes to strike quickly and unexpectedly from the shadows with a few shots from a disk, throwing a flash grenade, and running like Kharzani is behind him. He also loves tinkering, and is bent on finding a way to easily destroy Vahki and the monsters, although his plasma weaponry prototypes are too unstable to even pick up at the moment. However, if he feels that somebody is committing a crime, he will come out of the shadows yelling and shooting a never-ending stream of disks and grenades. He also can make kanoka disks and hopes to someday make a noble mask that he could use. Weaknesses: Like every other matoran, Sai’kun does not stack up well in close combat. Using his hammer is more of a last resort rather than a true battle tactic. He will also do anything to help anyone, even if it means certain death for him. This has been used against him quite a few times, as he will walk into a trap, no matter how obvious it is, in order to save someone from danger. So far, he has been able to fight his way out, but he is afraid that probability will eventually catch up to him. Appearance: Rusty red armor with a mechanically augmented right arm. His right hand is little more than an empty socket where he can attach his hammer, launcher, or other tool depending on the situation. History: Sai’kun always wanted to be a Toa in order to defend the helpless and uphold the law. He became a great mask maker, hoping that one day he could be powerful enough to use one. However, as the years passed and nobody came rushing up to him with a Toa stone, Sai’kun believed that the only way to help people was through politics. For a while, he served on the city council in order to make make the city the utopia it once was. Feeling satisfied, he retreated back into the lower levels to live out the rest of his days in peace, knowing that what he did was right. However, once social classes began to develop, he became disillusioned with the entire power structure and led a revolt against the upper levels. During the battle, a Vakhi’s uncharged staff cut off his right arm, forcing him to retreat into the shadows. He stayed in hiding for years after that, his intelligence becoming insanity and his desire to do good becoming a burning hatred towards the upper levels. Sai’kun remained in the shadows for many years, until the monsters began to attack. Realizing that these creatures just might be enough to destroy the city and are putting people in danger, Sai’kun now emerges from the shadows to help people, albeit in a highly destructive way. Personality‏: Sai’kun is a matoran of contradictions. He hates the people who obsessed with the vices of the upper city (drinking, murdering, and women) and will attempt to kill them on sight, yet he will help anyone in trouble no matter what the cost. This split between his hatred and his sense of duty to behave like a Toa causes him to be unpredictable in the heat of battle, and depending on how he is feeling, he can be a savior or a menace. He judges people by what he notices, and is brutally honest when pointing out character flaws. In fact, when he sees someone who has too much hubris, he goes into an insane rage and will not stop ranting and shooting until the adversary is down.

  6. IC: Alexander Crouched behind a chair, Alexander watched Naga and Masquerade talk strategy. The problem was that he couldn't hear what they were saying, and there was no other furniture to hind behind anywhere else in the UN. However, if he wanted to join the Resistance, Alex thought it would be useful to have some info on the Legion's next move. Otherwise, he would not be trusted at all. He scanned the room one more time, looking for something to hind behind that was closer to Naga. However, he noticed that Masquerade was gone.OOC: Open for interaction
  7. Name: AlexanderAge: 17Gender: maleFaction: Legion of NagaMain Attribute: AquosAppearance: Brown, curly hair and about 6 feet tall. He wears a sweatshirt that is customized with hidden pockets, containing items such as lock pics, a pocket knife, and a small crowbar in order to help him escape someday.Personality: Alexander is very mischievous and rebellious; never doing anything in an orthodox fashion. People believe that he never does anything seriously, but behind his troublemaker facade, he is cold, analytical, and always trying to figure out how to beat his opponent. Few have angered him, and those who have usually live to regret it. He enters a cold rage, and all signs of humor disappear. He then usually crushes his opponent in battle (and he's not bad at hand to hand combat either). Background: When Naga took over most of the world, Alexander was trapped in New York City. Naga knee that Alexander was a good brawler, so he offered him a choice: he could serve the Legion willingly, or he could watch his family die. For a year he served the Legion of Naga, watching whole cities fall to their might. However, during the takeover of Tokyo, he helped his family escape to Cape Horn. Naga could not kill him, as Alexander was one of his finest brawlers. However, Naga does fear that with nothing to lose, Alexander could escape, and even if he failed, Naga still needs him alive. With his knowledge of the workings of the Legion, including future attack plans and strategy, Alexander could prove a valuable asset to the Resistance.Bakugan: Aquos Manion, Aquos Stinglash, and an Aquos Fear Ripper
  8. IC: Ferro, battlefieldFerro hadn't talked to another actual being for the past ten years, so he was a bit nervous when walking to the two figures called Ena and Amarthis. He took a deep breath; he was on his own, as the Voice was staying quiet. Might as well get it over with. Not wasting any more time, he walked up to the warriors. "I'm sorry to interrupt, but we have an idea. What if we were to set a tap at Sorrowcliff? That way, when they come back, they will be immediately subdued. It could buy us some time to... Well, we don't know. We just got here."
  9. IC: Ferro, battle"Aw, come on!" Said Ferro. "We were just getting started!" As the riders retreated, the unsettling thought reemerged. Then he saw him.It was Radmir himself, commanding the riders. "But that's impossible! Unless..."Time slowed down, and then reversed. He saw himself long ago, a shiny, sane Toa of iron, holding the line against the forces of evil. But then, the Makuta regrouped. Ferro saw himself turn and run."Stay and fight, you fool!" He shouted at his past self, but he turned and fled the battle, leaving his comrades for dead. Ferro returned to the present. No time had passed. Feelings of guilt surrounded him."I should have been with you, brothers, and died fighting.""Do not focus on the past," said the Voice. "The only way to face your insanity is to face your old allies."Ferro started off towards the army that had defeated his old brothers, and as his insanity returned, he began to mumble about a Kikanalo playing kholi with a visorak.
  10. IC: Ferro, battlefield"A little more to the right, no, up, no..""Quiet!" Whispered the actual Ferro, attempting to shoot a Toa riding a Kikanalo (is that possible?). The problem was that another figure wielding a huge battle axe. He didn't have a clean shot. There was something familiar about the rider that was unsettling...Never mind. He fired an arrow, but the Voice threw him off, and the arrow went sailing right between the two warriors.
  11. IC: Ferro, Near battleFerro looked from the top of a boulder, looking at the battle below. "Well," he said. "Some beasties are fighting some Toa down there.""Help the living," said the Voice."Why should I?""Because you should.""No!""Yes!""Fine!" And with that, Ferro readied his bow and started toward mayhem, laughing maniacally.

The bowstring can be retracted, turning it into a staff and trench spikes, which are brass knuckles with a spike at the end.Appearance: Once white armor is now covered in rust from years of living outside of whatever civilization is left. Tiny spikes cover his armor, so if someone dares make physical contact, it will hurt.Personality: Ferro was driven mad long ago only to be brought back, but he was never the same. He talks to himself, sometimes referring to himself as"we" or "us." However, these voiced in his head seem to help, not harm him focus, though he is ostracized for being deemed insane. Ferro usually seems to not take anything seriously until he is enraged. If this happens, his old, calculating self comes back and uses his anger to focus on destroying his enemy.Biography: Ferro was a weapon specialist at the siege of Destral, but when he was supposed to hold the front gate, he turned and fled, leaving his comrades to die. For a decade he lived alone in the wild like an animal, driven mad by guilt. However, a few months ago, voices began to talk to him in his head. Strangely enough, they urged him to return to help the refugees. Using skills believed to be long gone, he fashioned deadly weapons, using his weakened elemental powers to extract metal from small deposits on Destral. The voices helped him make it, and in his small moments of sanity wonders if the voices are only in his head or someone else.Other: from years of competing with wildlife with scant resources, Ferro can make excellent traps, however, he says that devising a trap for a ghost riding a Kikanalo will take them quite a while.

  15. It's a good idea, but in the background there are a few mistakes I found. For example, I thought the paradox faction would be fighting with the maelstrom, not against it. Other than that, I'm interested.

IC: Ferro"Sticky ground isn't our only trouble. I know these caves like the back of my hand, and if we are not careful, we could run into some irritable rahi. They weren't a problem, but if we run into one and make too much noise while fighting it, we might give away our location. If it comes to that though, I can take them out quietly enough with my bow. Stealth is my specialty."

What is your plan once we get there?"

IC: FerroFerro stepped out the alley, surprised someone could actually hear him. He had been in there the entire time, studying them, sizing them up. It was the same way he studied his prey in the caves. Of course, he didn't have any plans on killing them. Yet. They seemed friendly enough, so he put away his bow. “Impressive, not even very many cave-dwelling rahi can hear me. Name’s Ferro. Just got here. I want to help fight the Ul’kar, any suggestions where to go?”OOC: Open for interaction
  24. Name: Ferro (derived from Latin word for iron)Species and Gender: Male Toa of IronWeapons and Possessions: A bow and two knives (which he made himself). He relies on stealth more than brute strength because Ferro was never how to use his elemental powers or to use a sword. If an enemy gets close, he relies more on his quick reflexes to dodge the fastest attacks more than the knives, which only work if he sneaks up on people and back stabs them. Besides being used as weapons, his twin daggers can also help him scale steep cliffs (if he can find any) to reach a vantage point where he can easily take out assailants from afar. Ferro is highly intelligent, but he is illiterate due to his lack of education (more on that later.) However, in his spare time he is making arrows or trying to teach himself to read a history book that he found.Appearance: Ferro's armor is a rusted brown from years of neglect, as his primary goal has been to survive. He is mid-sized for a Toa, and his silver eyes match what the color of his armor would look like in perfect condition. Ferro seems to be lost in thought all the time, but in reality he is trying to figure out the people he is listening to so that if Ferro must fight them, he can find their weakness and put an arrow in their eye socket.Mask: Mask of telekinesis. He can't lift very heavy objects with it, but Ferro can use it to increase the accuracy of his arrows, and even make them curve around cover his enemies might be using.Power: Ferro never learned how to use his powers, but he has a natural ability to see weaknesses in an enemy's armor, and he is amazing at forging weapons with barely any materials. Controlling iron is not his strength, which is why he seeks help to focus his elemental powers in Av-Metru.Faction: Children of the WellBiography: Ferro was very young when the Ul'kar took Ka Krada, and he was kept alive only because he could make the weapons that his masters desperately needed. For years he was a slave, making weapons for the Ul'kar, all the while looking for his chance to escape. He knew that nobody was going to teach him how to fight, so he created an improvised fighting style focused on dodging his opponents; he was not good at hand-to-hand combat. In Ferro's spare time, he gathered any materials he could to make some weapons. He needed a weapon that was ranged so he wouldn't get killed instantly, but the only ranged weapons he knew about required elemental powers. After weeks of toiling, he made his own version of a bow and arrow, and he also made 2 twin daggers. Ferro was ready, he just needed a chance, which he got. After years of oppression, many of Ferro's fellow slaves led a revolt against their oppressors, so he took this chance to escape into the caves. For 2 years he contested for food with wild rahi in the caverns and perfected the art of archery (he even learned how to use his mask a bit) and stealth. Ferro did not know if there was anyone else out there who opposed the Ul'kar until he stumbled upon Av-Metru. Ferro's first impression of the Council of Light was that it was weakening, so he discovered another group that was against the Ul'kar, the Children of the Well.
