IC: Rahkslif - LIbrary I'm confused and I don't like that. IC: Sim - Forest floor "Aha, there you are." The tree that I had placed rocks in from before. I fingered off some paint from the 'virtues' symbol, which was still slightly damp, and made a marking on the tree matching that on my chest. With that, I flew back to the air.

IC: Slif - Library "Yes. Exxan is here. Right here, as I stated. Here he is!!" I waved my hands around in front of Exxan, gesturing like mad. Geez. "B t dubs we should keep our voices down guys. Getting a little loud here, me included." Whoa. That's a new phrase. "B t dubs... What the heck does that mean?" I wondered out loud.

OOC: Wait, how did you do a darkness field? I thought Xi was adaptation? IC: Slif - Library The field over one eye caught me off guard, but it didn't phase me much. "Oh, hahaAHAA! I get it! You're a funny guy, whatever your name is. And now I get an eyepatch out of this, so I've got that going for me now." As casual as I was, I wasn't letting my guard down. This guy felt dangerous, like he was.... unstable. IC: Sim - Above the forest "Do you mind if I fly into the forest for just a quick check on something?"

IC: Slif - Library "Aaaaaaand what is it you've got?" Aside from double ambidexterity because hot kavinika that's a pretty cool set of armor there. I didn't say this, but I thought it. Instead I said, "Aside from the two lovely ladies over here." I slacked my grin to appear less imposing. I can't help myself.

IC: Slif - Library "Me and Exxan right here," I gestured to him, "Were just wondering what was happening over here." Arms didn't look happy. I made a mental note to look out for him. I ran my hand over the top of my head, attempting to polish off any unwanted smears.

IC: Slif - Library As I made my way over, I sized up the group. Know your friends, know your enemies. The little white one was the least dangerous of them all, four arms and tall-dark-and-creepy looked more threatening. The other two were hard to figure out. They were on the small side, but were pretty well equipped. I filed them away as "wild cards" in my head. Now that I was standing next to the lot, I could see I was taller than everyone but arms. I must look pretty intimidating. I made a casual wave of the hand, and said, "Hey. What's up?"

IC: Slir - Library "That's the attitude I like to see." I stood and put my chair under the table, and added, "Also yes, just to clarify."

IC: Slif - Library I put down the second book. I felt like I had been reading for days. There looked like some kind of gathering happening nearby. "What's going on over there?" I asked Exxan. I felt a little guilty bugging him again, but it had been a good reading sesh, for me at least, so he must have gotten some good time done as well.

I settled back into my chair, and picked up the book again. This Exxan guy intrigued me. Soon I was back into reading again, and now something caught my attention much better. IC: Slif - Library As much as I wanted to study this topic... I was so. BORED. So far, I'd only been able to study in short periods before I got found out and thrown out, so I was used to a much shorter study period. And besides that, trasndimensional mechanics can only be interesting for so long, c'mon. I put the book down. It must have been at least an hour since I picked it up. I looked around the room, hoping to find something distracting. I needed to talk, not just read. "How long have you been here?" I ask Exxan, quietly.

I can't help but wonder what kinds of ridiculously obscure theoretical texts a rahkshi would have to trawl through in order to stumble across a concept like this one... Granted. But there's more to it than that. Slif has his own motivations for exploring the topic.

IC: Rahkslif - Library "Name's Rahkslif." I bumped my fist against the hand holding his book. "I mighta called you Muaka otherwise, but I'm sure you get that enough as it is." I finished this last sentence while walking towards the section Exxan pointed out. It didn't take me long to find the books he was talking about, so I headed back with three in tow, and sat a seat away from Exxan. My grin faded into a concentrated half smile.

IC: Rahkslif - Library "Yeah I get that. This is really the only place that lets a guy like me stick around long enough to do some research though." I pulled out a chair and sat. "It's really a great feeling getting to stay in one place without being afraid of getting kicked out. Bah, haha, I'm talking my grin off. I'll let you read your book. Thanks for the help... Name?"

IC: Rahkslif - Library I slacked off the grin a bit, not looking all that different but just a bit more serious. "I've been exploring some different topics lately, but I'm hoping to get my hands on some transuniversal theory."

IC: Exxan - Library. I glanced up from my book. A new students, or perhaps an old student too lazy or uncultured to visit before now. Shrugging to myself, I got back to reading. It was none of my business. OOC: I'm going to assume this is an invitation to interact. IC: Rahklif - Library I felt like someone was watching me. I hated that feeling. I caught a Rahkshi taking a peek at me from behind a book before he got back to reading. He was a big guy, reminded me of a Muaka. "Hmm." I left the bookshelf, and came up to the striped guy. "Enjoying the view?" I asked, my face stretching into my usual unsettlingly large grin. IC: Sim - Cauldron>Above the forest "Alright then." I jumped and clasped my feet together, hovering above the ground. Out came my staff, my arms quivering as it reformed in my hands. "This is what I got out of coming here, I'm ready to go." I peeked inside my chest plate at the three virtues I had painted, and smiled. "Destiny awaits." I flew around the water, and waited for Carapace to follow.

IC: Rahkslif - Entrance to LIbrary I land at the front door, or gate, whatever. Next, I make my way to the reason I'm even in this karz-hole. "The library." No fancy words about it, I go inside and begin to browse for a book. OOC: Slif still OFI

IC: Rahkslif - Causeway "What a sight." I say to myself. Corpus Rahkshi looms in front of me. My feet are at the edge of a large pillar, plenty more like it peppering the sea in front of me, almost like the spine of a rahk. I stretched my arms out wide, and shouted at the top of my lungs, "WELCOME TO KARZANHI!! HAHAHAA!" My grin matched my arms and stretched as far as it could. I yelled again as I swung my arms forward and jumped to the nearest pillar. My feet left small craters when I landed, which only made me grin more. I kept going, jumping from pillar to pillar like a Brakas Monkey. OOC: Slif open to interaction
