  1. IC: Sim - Hallways "...Practicing." My head was only just protruding enough from the wall for me to say this. The stone was wrapped around my body, no doubt trying to digest me at this moment. My stasis field was preventing that from happening, but it also kept those parts with the active field from moving. "You have a good eye, friend. Most would just walk past me, not even noticing."
  2. IC - Sim/Hallways: 'What funny little games,' I thought to myself. 'Everyone scurrying around, running and moving. They should learn to take things slowly.' My joints were slowly becoming stiff, but I felt no need to stretch or move. I had grown used to this feeling, to the point I almost enjoyed it. Besides, if I were to move, then I would ruin my lovely vantage point here on the wall. Or, rather, in the wall. Stasis Field was certainly useful for preventing Digestion.
  3. 12 feet sound good? Not too far?
  4. Yeah I changed it. I had a thought process for it but then I forgot what that was.
  5. Canvas eh? ',:)

And if I made a Character named... Click?

  6. Name: Sim Xire Variation: Stasis Field Level: 2 Gender: Male Gear: Arm-mounted grappling cable, can reach a maximum distance of 2.5 Kio, so about 12 feet. Appearance: Matted, dulled stone gray and light blue. White highlights on the legs, back, and chest. Personality: Able-minded, slow to act yet not from hesitance. Careful thinker, evaluator, cautious. Bio: Born from Gorast, but he won't tell anyone so. Instead he claims to be born of Krika. Showed up at Corpus one day completely out of the blue. Had no real credentials. Filled out the forms, received a room, and has hardly been seen since. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Trying to keep things at more of a blank slate, I'd rather the character be forged in play. As for the Grapple cable, I would very much appreciate keeping it, or even at least a dumbed down version. ---- Edited for updated appearance.
  7. Sound familiar? That is exactly what I thought. What is the Great Cataclysm exactly now? The battle between the two?

  9. Yep! For Lewa, I kinda felt it was "too easy", you know? Like, he's short and thin and lithe and people tended to go to him first when it comes to this sort of thing. I also had a fairly strong idea of what he looked like already, along with Kopaka and Pohatu, so I stuck with that and changed Tahu and Onua. (Well, I mean, there were other reasons but it started with that.) Ah. So that makes it an even gender ration now, doesn't it?
  10. Oh, so Lewa is actually still male. Why him over the others?
  11. Moc-ing on my part has been pretty dismal lately... I just need space in my room to actually do stuff.

If you imagine your avatar saying that, you sound beyond stressed and frustrated while also trying to keep your cool.

  12. Here I am, just soaking in everything that I've somehow missed. I am legitimately loving all this debate and things, even the BONKLE poster. Collectibles were at least a good sell points of the early years, I don't see why they couldn't be brought back. At the same time though, your point is pretty valid, something I hadn't considered before. LEGO's sets have that playability coming right out of the box, while a collectable would have to be used elsewhere. But considering practically anyone that would buy a constraction collectible already has a constraction set, that might not be a problem, as long as the collectible is fairly wide-spread compatible.
  13. So the RPG has been started in Ta-Wahi?

  14. Name: Vakle Sein (Pronounced Va-klay Say-n) Species: Toa Appearance: Vakle's armor is a dark forest green, dominating his color scheme. A few small pieces of gunmetal armor are scattered across his body. Gender: Male Powers and equipment: Vakle is a Toa of The Green, and carries only a small pair of claws. He rarely uses these however, and relies mostly on his own physical and elemental abilities. Weakness: Vakle's abilities are dampened in intense heat, as there are fewer plants growing in warmer climates. Thus, flame is also one of his weaknesses, cutting him off from his element and overheating his armor. He also rushes into things like a Ta-being, and doesn't think things through until he is doing them. Alignment: Chaotic Neutral History: Vakle is a traveler, and usually stays out of everyone's business. However, on occasion, he has become involved. It was at one particular village he was staying in when a Kane-Ra came smashing through it, destroying everything in it's path, including his hotel room. Vakle didn't take very kindly to this. He jumped out of the gaping hole in his room, over a body or two(he didn't stop to check if they were dead or alive), and onto the back of the Kane-Ra. The Kane-Ra felt his presence on it's upper back, and began to buck and attempt to throw him to the ground, where it would have a better target. But as it flailed and kicked, it's movements became slower, and more fatigued. The Best finally fell to the ground, and began panting heavily. The villagers were astonished, and quickly gave Vakle a Post-name for his valiance. This name was Sein, and translates to "Tamer". Vakle left soon after, without a word. Later, the villagers started to haul the beast back into the neighboring jungle, when they found a thick coat of moss covering the inner joints of the bull Personality and traits: Vakle is a loner, but is not afraid to mingle. He speaks his mind, and gives his opinion often, even if it is not wanted. He becomes very irritated towards cowards, and despises many Rahi, though not all.

Whoa, what just happened?!? Did I really just miss three days worth of convo?

  16. IC: Terilis Terilis nodded his approval. "The sooner I'm out of the desert, the better. No offense." He added.
  17. IC: Terilis Terilis shrugged, and stood up. He tried to summon a bit of electricity, but it crackled weakly in his hand. He sighed. Of course this would happen. "I... can't really do much in the desert. So much dirt in the air grounds and absorbs the electricity I put out." He lightly pulsed again, with much the same result. He could put out more energy, but he didn't want to risk shocking Strack... Or himself.
  18. IC: Terilis He rested against the wall, and turned his head away. After a long moment, he turned back to Strack. "Not long. A little over four years ago."
  19. IC: Terilis He stepped inside the much appreciated respite from the sand and sun, breathing in cooler and cleaner air. "Light isn't really a problem for me." He stated plainly. Moments after his statement, the small green areas that littered his body illuminated, casting a ghostly light on his surroundings, including Strack. He gave a small shrug, and slid down to the floor with his back against the wall.
  20. IC: Terilis "Then would you mind us taking our own shelter 'til then?" He said. The small wind was driving sand into Terilis at a constant rate, and he hated the gritty feeling. Add to that the glaring sun in his eyes, and it was fairly clear that Terilis did not want to be there. He stepped inside the cave somewhat to shield himself from the desert.
  21. IC: Terilis He nodded. There was something suspicious about the matter, but Terilis doubted he could do much. For all he knew, he could be trading polished clam shell necklaces and was too embarrassed to perform the transactions in public. Yet there was always a small possibility... "So, do we go in and find him? Or...?"
  22. IC: Terilis He approached the opening cautiously. Strack was obviously at home in his element, a trait he could only envy. The sun, the dirt, the rickety looking towers of stone, it didn't bother him in the slightest. Karzhani, was he even sweating? He sighed, and arrived at the cave entrance. "It could just be a temporary dwelling. A place to settle in until the trading slows down, and then he moves on," After a glance from Strack, he continued, "Except he doesn't trade, does he?" He inwardly sighed. Why does he even open his mouth?
