  1. IC: Sim - Cauldron "Thank you very much Carapace. I'll be back soon." I was hoping to find something I could collect, a souvenir of some kind. Aside from weapons and paints, there weren't many other things here. A nice helmet would be good to have, something to protect my neck. But all I could find were more weapons. "Well," I say out loud, "I may as well find something functional." I moved to the staffs. Surely I could find something useful.... "Oh. Hello." I picked up a Rahkshi staff, left behind by someone in favor of something better. It felt sturdy, very reliable, if not very combat ready. I grabbed it with both hands, and felt it break down into it's two parts, and retract into my arms. "Well, that's certainly nice to have." ------------------------------------ I walked back to Carapace, watching him still play with Voha. "Well, I have something to bring back with me." I chuckled a bit. "You look like your having fun with Voha."
  2. They eat plenty of stuff. Including me >
  3. IC: Sim - Cauldron "OH! Oh, I'm sorry, I couldn't see you." I started giggling slightly. "You were right there! Wow, that's embarrassing." I shook out the laughs, and put on a straight face again. "I've finished with the paints. I really didn't need that much. I'm thinking I may explore what this place has to offer though. I might be able to find some decent armor." OOC: For reals, it is. /:P
  4. More like one kraata survived the armor process and is now both armor and kraata. So in a sense, yes. Ninja turtle shell... I wouldn't call it that but if you want to then yes.
  5. Name: Rakslif / Slif Variation: Adaptation Level: 2 Gender: Male Gear: Reinforced arms/fists, plated legs and chest, gold arm bands. Appearance: Slif has no spines along his back. Instead, he has a heavily reinforced and large back shell, with a few red, glowing nodes. He is stocky, and very well built, and is fairly quick despite his heavy shell. He bears several gold markings and patterns across his average color scheme of purple with smaller portions of black. His eyes are an eerie red, reminiscent of the Makuta Teridax himself. On top of all of this, he has an unsettling, enormous grin. Personality: Slif is like the 60’s punk that can be a nice guy but also kind of a jerk at the same time, but for some reason is super likeable for that. He can be very full of himself, and has a distinctive habit of grooming himself often. Bio: Slif began as an adaptation kraata set for becoming a suit of armor for someone else. He didn’t like that idea very much. As the energized protodermis took hold of his body, his limited adaptation powers did the best they could to keep him alive. When the suit was pulled from the pool, they found a kraata already inside. Or, at least, most of a kraata. His body was his own, the remnants of what slif once was contained in his large, smooth shell. He left his Makuta’s lair as quickly as he could, and now searches for answers to a gnawing question in the back of his mind. Due to his unique circumstances of existence, Slif's adaptations powers are much more limited than a regular stage two. The extent of his powers are usually limited to slight alterations of his construction, compacting and contracting his body to become slightly smaller or larger, minimal heat and cold resistance. Edit: Minor appearance edit since I forgot to mention a detail.
  6. IC: Sim - Cauldron I was dry, the newly applied paint was dry, and I felt great. I had added a few white highlights to me back and hips, with a quick insignia added to the left of my chest plate. "Cara-" I stopped. Where was he? "Carapace!" I shouted, spinning around trying to find him, "Hey? Hello?" I left my little spot with the paints, navigating about the Cauldron.
  7. IC: Sim - Cauldron I sat down to look at the paints up close. My body was still damp, but I could browse while I waited. There were lots of great colors to work with here. I picked up a small container of gold paint. It was alluring, but didn't match me, at least I didn't think so. After some searching I came across something I though I could use. "I like the white paints. I may end up using some of it."
  8. IC: Sim - Cauldron I nodded. Before I dug into the paints I made a quick surveillance of the area. I wanted to know what resources were really in here. Several piles of assorted materials balanced precariously to heights well over three bios high, and bits of machinery were scattered about. "I wish we'd brought along someone that's good with machines." I had my eye on a few parts that I would have liked to add to my body, but had no technical knowledge of how.
  9. IC: Sim - Cauldron "Oh, good. Good good good. Now that I'm soaking and am in perfect condition for applying paint." I walked to join Carapace, still thunking bits of my armor to unclog the water. "There is a lot of paint here. Wow."
  10. IC: Sim - Cauldron I landed and shook the cold water off of my back. My spines clicked oddly as they shook, and a little water settled in the containment area of my back. "Ooh, that's not a pleasant feeling." I heard Carapace come up behind me, asking if I was alright. "Oh, yes, the water was just unexpectedly cold. And got in unexpected places." I twisted my body around, trying to let the water run out of my body. "Eugh."
  11. IC: Sim - Above the forest "Well, granted, buppbblth-!" My voice was cut short as I flew through a wall of water. Once again, observation skills fail me. My face-plate kept the water from my eyes well enough, but it didn't stop my mouth from being flooded. I slowed to a hovering stop inside the cave as I coughed up the water trapped in my lungs.
  12. IC: Sim - Above the forest "With? You lived with visorak and lived to be here today?" I shook my head with amazement. "Maybe there's hope for them too, even if it's only as much hope as there is for us."
  13. IC: Sim - Above the forest "Ah... right. I've run into some visorak before, but never a Vohtarak, and certainly never a young one. They wanted to eat me, I think. Stasis Field powers come in handy when trying to run from an angry mob of any species though, so at least I have that at my disposal." The waterfall grew closer and closer, but it was still a good hundred bio or so away. "Can you understand him?" I gestured to Voha.
  14. IC: Sim - Hallways Despite my enthusiasm and excitement to reach the cauldron, I slowed down for Carapace's sake and matched his pace. "What is Voha? He's a cute little guy, but I've never seen anything like him."
  15. IC: Sim - Above the Forest I picked up speed, catching up to Carapace. I kept my pace at just a bit ahead of him, I was already getting excited about what might be behind the waterfall. "Race you there?" I called back with a raised eyeridge.
  16. IC: Sim - Forest "I'm only following you, so lead the way." I said this as he started to rise. I looked around for a moment. I really did like this part of the forest. I picked up a large rock and placed it in the bough of a tree, and followed suit with just a few more before I shot up to follow Carapace.
  17. IC: Sim - Forest "Where did you get your paints? Surely those aren't your natural colors?" The forest seemed endless. I could imagine getting lost in here, and never wanting to come out again. If I had some company anyway.
  18. IC: Sim - Causeway(I guess??) "Hmm. I'd assume it would be fairly large. Any other landmarks I should watch for?" The island was fairly uninteresting. I'd seen it's type before.
  19. IC: Sim - Causeway "Got tired? You mean got tired of having them so close and not hunting them." I spat. I continued to follow Carapace, but I could feel whatever counts as organic fluid in my armor boiling.
  20. IC: Sim - Causeway "Well. That is a considerable distance to the mainland. And that's a good amount of junk in the way." I luaghingly said to Carapace, "It's almost like they don't want us leaving at all."
  21. IC: Sim - Halls "I flew in from the other direction, got in through one of the walls. Will we be flying out, or is there a pathway to the mainland?"
  22. IC: Sim - Hallways "Gladly. I'd love to see what paints are there, as well as any other interesting bits."
  23. IC: Sim - Refectory "I'll be right with you." I said to Carapace. "I don't know how many we'd be able to convince, but I'd rather be in likened company. I'll try to find you again, maybe Carapace will come too." I waved to Melody, and left, following Carapace into the halls.
  24. IC: Sim - Refectory I laughed a little. "The bounds of logic are reserved to those who choose to observe, and forge their reality upon that around them. You could tell me the sky is blue, and I could say it isn't. While you may be right, I would have no reason to change my opinion, even if you were to drag me outside and make me look up."
  25. IC: Sim - Refectory I looked up at her, and smiled again. "It's a valiant effort. And believe you me, I would love to see that happen. Just so many...." I hung my head again. "Don't care."
