  1. IC Lukasi - Metronome "Well, it was a little blistering," Lukasi said as he rose out of the pile of sand, picking up his khopesh and becoming humanoid once more. "Although I guess that's the intention."
  2. IC Doubt "No no, this is customary," He said, wondering just how in the world whoever this was was going to survive a meal. "most Rahks get the grand tour of the place, and I guess it's better for someone to do it who isn't trying to... ruin your day." Is this seriously happening? or did I actually faint? did Corpus Rahkshi just get this kind of a stereotype? and why am I asking myself all of these questions?
  3. I came back expecting a blurb of salt from Nato and I left crying
  4. Oh great, I figured this was coming next I mean I have the guy that can disintegrate but still Ah well, I'm sure it'll still be fun somehow. Maybe I can get lined up with a canon DH, who knows
  5. IC Lukasi - Metronome He glanced back towards Whisper with a half-grin. "I never said it was on my to-do list." He grinned fully. "Although precipitation anticipation isn't my line of work, either. Air's a little thin up here, so I think I'll come down towards your level for a while." He collapsed into sand suddenly, seemingly conscious of what was going on around him yet completely bland and boring.
  6. And that wasn't even an event. Did you not see my quote? I was talking about the attack on phantom-on-the-water. Goodness Nato, I'd ask that you not abruptly jump at my throat whenever you can but I know it wouldn't get anywhere.
  7. IC Doubt For a moment it seemed like he was going to faint. Then with a great effort he turned it into a mournful sigh. "I certainly hope so," He said. "Chances are I think you're going to enjoy yourself here. Only be careful; most people here are much less friendly than you might think." "Anyway, shall I give you the grand tour?" He nearly threw up a little in his mouth at the use of the word Grand. "It's not much, but it's home for many of us."
  8. IC Doubt He suppressed a shudder. I kind of wish it had been the stabby kind... "Are you... Sure you're prepared to live here?" He looked at her worriedly. Happy-go-lucky Rahks didn't go well here; they either ended up hiding, walking right into getting themselves killed or they changed who they were in order to survive each night. "This isn't the safest place in the world here. I don't keep this chain ball for a decoration."
  9. I'm pretty sure I was referring to the one Timageness was talking about in the quote I quoted.
  10. IC Lukasi - Metronome "And more motivation for us to off you when you prove too obnoxious." Lukasi unintentionally snapped, towering over the other participants, glaring first at Whisper and then Idgaddiy. He loosened up his tone. "So maybe you should worry more about how easy it is to disconnect your head from your body and less about who makes it out." He pretended to drop the matter, but actually started watching Skondh to see if he tried to jump him or something.
  11. That was Era, yes. And that seemed like a rather unfair event, it was 'either you're a specific Rahkshi type and therefore you get a bonus cool weapon if you did reasonable or else you sit on the sidelines and do nothing because lol'. I hope the rest of you guys as the GMs can avoid events like that.
  12. IC Doubt Doubt had marched towards the main entrance in his boredom, and suddenly there was a ship on the horizon- leaving, not coming, all the while an air of mystery hanging over the entire thing. And then suddenly a Rahkshi flew up. Kororia's arrival was possibly connected with the boat, although it seemed unlikely given none of the other Rahkshi were given this treatment. He eyeballed her quizzically until she got close enough for conversation. "Welcome to Corpus Rahkshi." He held his chain ball nervously in his oversized hands, unsure if this was one of those Rahks who walked up and stabbed you in the face with a cheery smile.

IC Dessimus - here we go again Now we're getting someplace. He made the specific preparations he needed, eventually moving his ship over to the cargo bay, unwilling to move from it being in his line of sight until it was evident that the take-off was about to happen.

  15. IC Lukasi - Metronome After accomplishing in being a humanoid once more, he lied on the testing track for a minute, breathing in and out to make sure his lungs still worked. Then he was up again, and he was surprised to find the trapping puzzles were over. The exit door was right there. But that wasn't the last trap he had to face. Suddenly behind him the wall opened up to reveal a wind tunnel, and the door was barred off by steel beams. Obviously it was meant to pin someone against the wall, someone big enough to clear the jump of the massive walls earlier like Lukasi. But he let it fling him towards it, only to disintegrate into sand once more and fly through unharmed. Shooting out from right atop the ground, he stretched his arms and relapsed into boredom now that it was over. Some of the other prisoners had made it here before him- at least they were prisoners to him.

IC Dessimus - excuse me "You're welcome, Saffina." Dessimus grunted. He didn't need a neon sign to tell him this was the person he was looking for. "When do we leave, or do you need more horizontal relaxation first?"
  17. Please, keep this coming. It's absolutely wonderful and I enjoy every pixel of it.
  18. IC Lukasi - Metronome With a bound, he was ahead of the entire pack and into the course. Walls to scale, barbed wire to traverse, pits to jump, everything was seeming too easy- And then there was a problem. A solid wall with spikes at the top, twice his height, no way around, and definitely too solid to knock down. Obviously not one of the walls to the place itself, and yet it was too thick to be a normal one. So what's the gimmick? He stepped forward and didn't notice the trigger in the ground- behind him another wall shot up, same height but devoid of the spikes adorning the top. It was some distance from the other wall, and the only option seemed to be to scale one of them. So the wall with no spikes was scaled first. That was when he was faced with a problem. The jump across was made to be incredibly challenging for someone like a Skakdi or Vortixx, but for his height and strength it would be easier than everything thus far. The only problem was what was on the other side? from what he could see it was solid ground, but right out of view could be a pit of spikes or some other danger. And not to mention the fall- he was capable of making the jump, but if he caught his ankle on the spiked edge, he could lose his head. Fortune favors the bold, so after some preparation he made the leap... Immediately it was obvious that he would clear it. Barely. But then the danger was seen below, a shallow pit of water far too shallow to break his fall, and with short solid spikes at the bottom. He curled into a ball during his dive, and the next minute sand hit the water with a splash. Happy to have passed the test so easily, Lukasi took a second to give himself a pat on the back. But then something unexpected and horrible happened. The water drained. Lukasi had never had this happen, transferring from wet sand into something different than water. The sand particles had floated easily underwater; if he had even half an inch of water he could pull it off. But now he was transferring from liquid to air, and it was a completely new experience. At first he tried to do it the same old way. But his body surged up momentarily and then collapsed into wet sand again. It was going to take a monumental effort to do it that way. And unfortunately, that was the way he was going to do it. If the other hunter trainees could see him, they would see a horrific transformation of what appeared to be a grainy mud variation of Metronome's upper half melting into bits before summoning himself back up again, obviously in great strain and some agony, very, very slowly working into a full humanoid again.
  19. IC Lukasi - Metronome He towered over the other participants, scanning the area for what could come next. An obstacle course would prove to either be incredibly easy or frustratingly impossible, whatever the specifications were on height and etc. He stretched his arms out without worry of clobbering anyone in the head- no one even came near his shoulder height. It was a little lonely, though.

IC Dessimus "Uncomfortably nauseated- Oh, you wanted the name, don't you?" He dripped sarcasm like a leaky faucet. "Velmes."
  21. That's... Iffy. I''m not part of this game's mod team so nothing is official here, but I think the letter aspect would be a trouble that boils down to the personality of Icarax, the game's new head Makuta. And considering Wyrd isn't here anymore, Icarax can't really be controlled or tampered with in any aspect, so it's been a problem of figuring out how to get around the limitations of being unable to control key ICs. Your suggestion is that somehow you'd be able to receive mail from your Makuta. Personally I don't think such an idea would bode well, considering the island gets absolutely no outside communication and the closest Matoran settlement was abruptly demolished to avoid contact. But hey, maybe the mods think differently, so go ahead and keep it just to get their opinion on it.
  22. I think those claims about the party might be classified as Ad Hom-inem
  23. IC: Lukasi One of the new recruits had been up and awake before any of the others. He had gotten less than an hour of sleep, sleeping for a few minutes at a time. Now he was bounding around the running track at an incredible pace, nearly sending the Matoran spiraling with the amounts of wind generated by his jog. It was no great strain on him by any means, and he was done the fastest. "In my opinion, they're a little short" He said, striding past the Matoran Krahua and and stepping up the stairs.
  24. I assumed most of the people on the vessels would either use emergency escape vessels or swim back to safety, and considering he put so much effort into hiding from his prey there was not always an opportunity to attack and take one unnoticed. Edited.
