  1. Not until something official is announced. I'm with this guy. Also, Greg is not entirely responsible for stuff that you don't like in the Bionicle franchise. He kinda is. Also, "you" implies that I am the only person who has this opinion, when in fact this is an opinion pretty much everyone on the internet that are not on BZPower agrees with. "You" is the normal way to refer to the opinions of others. Fishers isn't specifically targeting you at all; you're personalizing something which doesn't specifically have to do with you. I'm pretty sure that it was a general notice, not a topic on the LMBs. It wouldn't be possible to link to if its been taken down.
  2. It took me a moment to get it also, but I think that the mistake was in equating Bionicle's return with a "LEGO line scheduled for 2015". Quite the typo on his part.
  3. So this is all very well and good, but what do you guys think of my theory? Well, what's the Red Star do? Teleport. And what does Kapura apparently do? Teleport. What if Kapura somehow took a little bit of the Red Star's ability with him? I could certainly see this.
  4. Pulse, at least one of the two leaked images is almost certainly real. I get the feeling that you haven't seen either of them. Almost everyone is agreeing that they're likely from TLG, because of their realism.
  5. Indeed. News about new lines that is leaked around a year in advance is always unreliable to some degree. Even if it was Lego's CEO that came out with this news, I still wouldn't be sure about it. Was the new constraction theme slated for the summer of 2015, or the winter?
  6. He has leaked a picture of Furno XL before. I actually know him, I'll contact him about the picture as soon as I can. Piece Out is a group for Bionicle MOCists. you can find it mainly on Facebook, but there are other branches as well. as for Des, he only has YouTube and Facebook accounts. as a side note, we in PO are pretty sure he's going to get fired from his job for this. Thanks for explaining both the man and his group. It's good to have at least a bit of detail on who the providers of this image are. And if we don't know, as it stands at the moment, then there's plenty to discuss. Right?
  7. Who is this "Des Desworth", again?
  8. I can't shake the fact that it is likely a fake, although I'd definitely be curious to see some of these sets if they do come out. Is anyone else seeing Kopaka somewhere in the bottom row? Unfortunately that might mean that it is a fake image, the creator of which is desperately trying to make sound legitimate.
  9. I suppose that there is a chance that it might be released. I need to get the copy first. :3 WHAT YOU CAN ACTUALLY GRT THE COPY OF LOMN SERIOUSLY LEGENDS OF FREAKING MATA NUI ARE YOU LIKE RICH OR SOMETHING OR DO YOU SECRETLY WORK FOR LEGO But seriously, that's great news. Like an unreleased game of a discontinued toy line selling again, wow(congrats, really). If it is going to be released(if there is even a small chance), will you know when? Calm down- he didn't say that he could get a copy, or even that there was a slightly better chance that he'd be able to get one. He said that he'd need to get a copy first. Anyone would need to get a copy first. His chances might be better now that he is conversing with Pohatu, but as far as I know, he's still no more as capable of getting a copy than anyone else in the fandom. PrismWind, could you ask Pohatu if he knows of any owners of beta CDs for the game, other than Deep Brick? Did Mark Kendall own a beta CD? If you haven't already asked, it would be nice to confirm that.
  10. Nope, still a theory. Kapura does say that Vakama says that he needs to practice, and that he can move faster if he practices, but he never says that Vakama taught him how to use his ability in any way.
  11. It sounds as though your theory is fairly similar to mine, with Vakama teaching the skill to Kapura somehow. The only catch is that Matoran can't use legendary masks like the mask of time, and neither can Turaga. Vakama wasn't able to use the Vahi on his own after becoming a Turaga, and Kapura definitely couldn't.
  12. I've been trying to come up with a reason for Kapura's uncanny ability to teleport for a while now. Lines such as "Even though I am slow, I may be faster than all the others", "I think I can feel it" and, of course, "I am practicing" seem to imply that Kapura is accessing and making use of some sort of unknown and ancient property of the universe. Somehow, being aware of this force allows Kapura to "be where [he] is not", or teleport. Kapura is also established as being an eccentric, and possibly very nervous character; he asks if Takua, a random stranger, is Makuta, and seems to be genuinely surprised to discover that he isn't. "If you do not know what is the Makuta, then I guess you are not it. That is good." He also suggests that Makuta is "everywhere", and gives us a rather creepy explanation of how Makuta never leaves the things that he destroys. He repeats that he is either practicing or that he must practice four times, and generally gives off the impression that spends pretty much all of his time in a dead forest running back and forth, "practicing". He also claims that Vakama is the one who tells him that he must practice in order to move faster. Vakama is another character who displays a lot of anxiety and fear, particularly in the Metru Nui story arc which takes place 1,000 years before we meet Kapura in the Charred Forest. He doubts himself and worries about his own skill as a Toa for a significant part of the 2004 storyline, even having an extremely vivid nightmare towards the end of that story arc, emphasizing his anxiety. What if the ability to teleport as Kapura does is hardwired into every Matoran by the Great Beings as a sort of safety feature; if a Matoran feels very threatened, nervous, or fearful, he or she will automatically teleport to a random place in order to stay safe. Matoran/Toa such as Vakama and Kapura would have spent a lot of their time not only under threat, but feeling anxious and fearful when not under threat, that they might have been teleporting around a lot. It's quite possible that countless years of neurosis as a Toa would have allowed Vakama to control the teleportation ability to the point where he could do so at will, to a specific destination. Then, he passed the knowledge of how to conrol and cultivate the ability down to his left hand, who was probably also inclined to fear and nervousness. How does that sound?
  13. I would appreciate a new topic that lists and describes many of these physical laws, and I'm sure that others would also.
  14. This part always confuses me. Apparently Lego can't use the Maori language, but any other language is a-ok. The important piece that you're missing is that the Maori language is a living language, spoken by real people who are alive today, while Latin is a dead language from the ancient period which hasn't been spoken outside of the Catholic Church in more than 1,500 years. Then what about every other language? Or are they not as important? In the cases of languages such as Finnish and Swedish, from which names such as Jaatiko and Tiribomba were taken, it mainly trickles down to a lack of complaints from representatives of either. It's helpful to keep in mind also, that, to my knowledge, none of the words taken from living languages, save those from Maori, were ever used for anything other than names for Matoran introduced in the MNOLG 2. Very few of those characters ever had a significant role in the story, which probably discouraged Finnish or Swedish representatives from making allegations of unfair use of terms from their respective languages.

  16. Congratulations. You linked right back to this thread. That's weird. The Bbcode for hyperlinking seems to not be working. yeah solid magma doesn't work either you can't click the read more button. Well, solid magma would be rock, which doesn't have any sort of special importance on the site. Solis Magna, maybe? In all seriousness, XONAR and the rest of the staff are still fixing a number of bugs that make the still-unfinished home page of the site a bit tricky to use. Until then, our forums, as mentioned previously by both Collector and myself, is the place to enter our community!

  18. If the MNOLG: CE interests you, be sure to check out http://forums.solismagna.com/ for more news and discussion on the project!
  19. It wasn't going to be free, though.
  20. Evening, everyone; I represent SM.com, including the creators of the MNOLG: CE which was intended for a release this summer. Here is an official statement on the subject, official in the respect that I've deemed that it's necessary at this point to save our project: We at SolisMagna.com began work on said product with full awareness of its illegality, and have been previously attempting to avoid discussing said aspect of it. We apologize for any confusion or outrage that the game might have spurned, and plan to cease work on the game and indefinitely cancel its release immediately. EDIT: Please disregard the content as well as its supposed official nature. I made a mistake; sorry everyone. The MNOLG: CE will be released in full, as a paying product, as originally planned.
  21. Are you referring to the Collector's Edition of the Mata Nui Online Game that SolisMagna.com will be releasing this summer?
  22. Honestly, it's quite a hard decision to make. I'll go for the WMKK in exchange for Toa Mata Nui. How does that sound?
