  1. IC Optis: Optis's puzzlement at the two-headed Rahk was quickly replaced with excitement at the prospect of observing a sparring match. He walked over to teh wall and assumed his earlier position, watching with chameleon powers activated.
  2. I believe that in Pacific Rim people throw around missiles all over the place. Also, it's not Jaeger-sized in proportion to a Toa. That would be insane. It's just enlarged enough so it doesn;t look out of place. Also, the multifire is only the same type of launching on a canon cordak.
  3. Name: Nilax Species: Fa-Matoran. Gender: Male Powers/Gear: Nilax has a meticulously stocked and organized toolbox, along with a ‘smart tablet’ capable of document holding and computing abilities, a multitool, and a small revolver. His Akaku has a telescopic eyepeice. He also has the typical Fa-Matoran directional sense. Personality: Nilax is hard to understand if you don’t know him. He is generally unorganized,, as well as absentminded. Despite these flaws, he is eager to prove himself and an excellent mechanic, capable fo jury-rigging, fixing, and modding complex devices quickly. Bio: Nilax hails from Xia, an oddball in a world of tall Vortixx. Looked down upon due to his small stature, he sought to prove himself and soon became a renowned mechanic and slightly-less-renowned Jaeger pilot. Appearance: Nilax is a pretty average Fa-matoran, except that where there would usually be black armor, Nilax has light grey. He wears a powerless Akaku Jaeger: Tactivs Jaeger profile: Jaeger nickname: Tactivs MK: II Kanohi: Sanok: Gives the Jaeger autotargeting systems Weaponry: Tactivs has three weapons. On one wrist is a Cordak blaster, enlarged to fit the wrist properly. Not functioning like a normal Cordak, inbuilt autoreloaders reduce firing time to one cordak every ten seconds. On the shoulder is Nilax’s pride and joy: the Tactical Payload Delivery System(TPDS). The weapon, which can pivot to aim, can hold a vareity of ammunition which is launched magnetically like a coilgun(Not a railgun, the two are entirely different. or with rockets built into the ammo. At the moment, Nilax can shoot either penetrating metal spikes, rocket-propelled penetrating barbed spikes, or blasts of grapeshot. He has a limited supply of each: 10 spikes, 5 rockets, and 15 grapeshot blasts. These are all loaded through an automatic reloader. Pilot(s): Just Nilax. Appearance: Tactivs looks a lot like a Toa. It is white and light grey, and rather thin.
  4. IC Therex -Sota colosium: That Toa was good. Except for the part where she just tried to kill someone. Therex braced himself, then fired twin shockwaves at the projectile, pausing before running toward the Toa who had thrown it. OOC: Therex shooting Scriva's rock out of the air.
  5. IC Therex: Therex simply watched, waiting for someone to take a potshot at him.
  6. IC Optis: "Wait, 'we'? Are you using the royal 'we', because I don't see anybody else around here." NOTE: Find out why people react strongly to questions NOTE: Does two heads have something to do with MPD?
  7. IC Optis: "And that is exactly what I am doing. My Makuta wished me to accrue as much data as possible. Was I being rude? I only meant to gather information, and asking is certainly more logical then attempting to spy on the person in question. Everything that has not been recorded concerns me, as my aim is to gather data on everything I find."
  8. IC Optis: "I care because it is information. Information is knowledge, and knowledge and the pursuit of it is one of my most important goals in life, and one of the reasons I was created."
  9. IC Optis: Optis stepped back, worried. "Have I intruded? I did not mean to. I only wanted to understand why you have two heads. I have no doubt that the answer is quite fascinating."
  10. IC Optis: Optis replied, "So you modified yourself out of a desire for individuality? I have heard of such things. Quite impressive. Does this give you any tactical advantages?"
  11. Methinks a lot of people on BZP like starting arguments.
  12. Military/tactical term for basically what was just stated. "Taking Point" can means going first. Or scouting ahead to see what pitfalls the group may encounter. Though preferably without the second part of being shot at first . It is a logical chain of events of there are any shooters. What with the sound, lack of agility, and overall size of the armors. Hiding such a beast is not a viable option. Someone or something is going to see it coming likely long before the driver sees them. Even more so if they are on foot. The person taking point basically moves into a position to be able to see what is going on ahead of them. Sometimes this is by running ahead, other times is means getting to higher ground so they can see further. Either way the enemy is likely to see them first. So that means that the person who drives in front takes point?
  13. Hey, cut him some slack. He's lived totally in a library with an eccentric scholarly Makuta for all of his life.
  14. IC Optis: Standard ad hominem. But I'm not in a debate. So why is this Rahkshi doing this? "On the contrary, my opinions have little bearing on this. Statistically, it is possible to determine within a certain margin of error the standard Rahkshi suit configuration, which I have determined through anatomy books. It is obvious that you do not fit this standard model, so I wanted to know for what reason this is so."
  15. IC Therex: Therex looked around. "We could faux-combat. I've done it before."
  16. IC Optis: "Most of my body parts comply with the standard Rahkshi suit configuration, including my head.", Optis replied, absolutely oblivious.
  17. IC Mar'jik: Mar'jik was still unconcious on the floor of Tridax's office. IC Optis: Optis, watching in the shadows, noticed something. That Rahkshi had two heads! He walked towards the Rahkshi, notebook in hand. Stopping in front of the Rahk, he asked, "Why do you have two heads?" For anyone else, this would be considered rude, but to Optis, who was not very well versed in social etiquette, it was a perfectly normal question. NOTE: Possibilities include: Genetic anomoly, suit modification OOC: Optis talking to Glaciem Ignis.
  18. IC Therex: Therex groaned as the Turaga's words went unheard. AS the Turaga yelled at them, Therex lept into the air, projecting shockwaves from his feet as he did so. He hit the ground right next to the Turaga, dropping into a roll and standing up. "I think you're right. But our jailors want to see a fight. If we don't do what they expect, bad things are likely to happen", he whispered.
  19. IC Therex: Therex suppressed a shudder. Once, during a military campaign, they had encountered a sadistic member of the Arrogant, who had forced them to fight each other via mind control. Therex had been able to break the control disks via his implants, but he hadn't been able to save all the members of his small team. The experience still haunted him.
  20. We can just drive both of them and Elerc can follow the RAT. That solves both problems. Wait, what does "Point" mean?
  21. Gah. I CAN'T RESIST THE CHARECTER URGE!! In other words, NVM about the adoption part of the above post. I am instead submitting this profile.
  22. I don't want to play this charecter(Because I have too many as it is), but as apparently you can put profiles that you have no time to use up for adoption, here he/it is. (If you couldn't understand the rambling sentance, this guy is up for charecter adoption.) Name: Deraz/MocletirSpecies: Toa/ Experimental Makuta MaskFaction: Cultist of Power/Weapon 1 & 2: The Mocletir has the power to transform the user's body into a kind of extremely viscous liquid. This composition renders the user impervious to sharp weapons and most types of blunt force, as the user can just reform their mass, and allows them to slip through extremely small spaces. This ability has limited offensive abilities, as follows: The creation of tendrils out of the user's mass. However, this use of the power depletes the user's body mass, meaning they can only use one or two significantly long ones at once. The user cannot return to original form unless their mass is in the normal shape.Power/Weapon 3: A sort of 'sixth sense'. As Deraz and the Mocletir share the same body and senses, the Mocletir can use Deraz's senses to notice what Deraz could have missed and inform him.Appearance: A normal-height Toa, with an odd mask that is constantly shifting. When tranformed, appearences vary, but he is always a sort of gooey metallic color.Bio: Deraz was an average Toa Hagah originally. His timeline progressed fairly normally, but instead of the first Hagah immedietly rebelling when they discovered the Makuta's corruptness, they covertly informed the other teams. Deraz snuck into his Makuta's lab, where he found an odd mask; the Mocletir. It bonded to him, and taking control of his body forced him to escape. After some time, he was vworped to the Cult, and the Mocletir still controlling his body, he ended up as a Cultist of Fear. The Mocletir almost never lets him control his own body, and instead he is forced to watch as his body is forced to do terrible things.Personality/Other: The Mocletir is cruel and sadistic, little better then an animal with a cunning intellegence. Think Venom from Spider-Man. Deraz has become grim and overly serious, burning with rage against the Mocletir. A far cry from his previous, carefree, personality.
  23. IC Therex: "Do you have a plan beyond bashing the wall? Because if that's all you want, I could probably help with that."
  24. IC Elerc: The Venture's clanking legs skidded to a stop as the team approached the wreckage. "Doseki," he addressed the Matoran over teh Venture's radio, "I think we'd better put this on hold."
  25. Matoran Und Panzer. I kept seeing the topic and getting this really guilty feeling(), but I forgot people had been waiting on me. Basically Elerc was saying the Venture was mostly defenseless without a gunner. It might be best of Doseki just takes point. If we find a river or lake or something, then the Venture will be useful. Then I guess I'll have to do better to keep you interested without making it feel like we're jumping the shark too much. Oh, okay. You might feel a little... differently about that somewhere down the line, however, but hey, it's still your call. Oh, it's interesting. Unfortunately the interesting stuff always seems to be far away from my characters. That sounds ominous.....
