    Despite my love for Takanuva (he was my favorite set back in 03), it wouldn't really make much sense to put him in the story/set form until a couple years down the road. Makuta doesn't seem to have any 'Shadow" elemental energy in G2 as of now, so a Toa of Light couldn't exist to form a counterbalance. Albeit, Takanuva could come in as a villager of fire or something, as a throwback. I would like to see Botar make a return.

    This guy gets it. I think the reason why people on this board think that LOSS won't sell well and is pretty lack-luster, is because they're in the "older mindset" of things. As a kid, the bad guys were always my favorite, especially the bug-esque one's. (The Visorak hint-hint) I'm pretty sure LOSS will among be the best-selling of the wave.

    Eh...I'm pretty "meh" on the boxes. The bags sorta grew on me, and for whatever reason, I just liked the sound the Technic pieces made whenever you jiggled them in the bags. But the boxes due hearken in some pretty rad nostalgia. As for the canisters...I'm pretty glad they phased those out. They took up WAY too much room in my closet, and I ended up throwing them away before I moved into a new house.

    Thanks for all the replies! I've be wanting to open the packaging on my copy, but now knowing that it will be significantly worth more made me reconsider doing it. Hopefully there will be some contests in which I might be able to own a second one for MoC'ing purposes. (I don't do much of that anymore, but it's always good to have a CLEAR mask handy. XP)

    I figure they're just as rare as the neon Miru's and bronze masks that were given away back in 2001-03, because only 1,500 of the Hau's were produced. So I bought one of the clear Hau's from Ebay for $30, and I plan on keeping it in the packaging. (Title cont.) Compared to G1 Bionicle masks.

    Well, if someone asked if I liked Bionicle/Lego, I would tell them I do actually that sorta action figure. And I wouldn't care if someone from school saw me in the toy isle, looking at a couple of sets. Though I'm not the type of person that would care paraphernalia around everywhere I go.

    Yeah, I can also so why people are sticker-shocked. 200$ (that's how much I'll be paying thanks to the steep taxes where I live) which is my entire paycheck. But yeah, this year is relatively cheap compared to the previous line.

    I actual want to try and make a 1M-waisted MOC, with just studs for the midsection. And no, it's not going to be a female.

    That's true. I guess it doesn't quite make sense when people rage about others thieving their designs. Though I can understand the frustration.

    I'm sure most of us have gotten that 'uh-oh' feeling when you just completed a random MOC, later finding out that someone has almost the exact same method of building custom arms, legs, etc. as you did but earlier. Could there be repercussions if you posted said MOC on sites like YouTube, DeviantArt, or even BZP?

    I never actually confirmed that I was making those sorts of MOCs in the first place, just an untrue comment of mine. Never thought I would get attacked on BZPower for voicing my opinion.

    Is it just me, or does it smell like Feminism in here? Jokes! No. But seriously, it's just a MOC peeps. If I want to make a stereotypical female Bionicle, let me make it! It's what I want to do! Does designing a figure like I want it make me sexist? Probably not.

    I wonder of you could remove the mask from the stand (not that you would want to ) and use it for a MOC?
