Yeah I don't get what is going on with him. Maybe the time displacement thing since time in this game is REALLY messed up and can pretty much be manipulated by everyone.

I know of the weird 360 pad. Kinda hard to work with.

I can't say much about the togetherness pad, but maybe if you keep trying, and finding a similar pattern, if you can keep that pattern, maybe it will work. Sorry if that doesn't help much. Yeah the Ps3 is much easier, but if you could get Blazblue continuum shift 2 for the 3ds, the d-pad is even easier for me to use when I play it on there.
