A friend is into pokemon and has been into I have almost no knowledge of  pokemon aside from the average ash pikachu carizard so my question is where do I start to get into the pokemon world.

to do this we have to establish the limits of the mask of control can it control reality and time or is it limited to earthly things and non world altering things?

that is almost as if saying the mask of fire and water are the same. light and shadow cannot be melded they are opposites neither can exist in the same area while they are the same one has to be stronger.

this has is just my head cannon actually the idea kinda started before i even saw the set images so here it goes.

umarak was just an jungle or earth villager who liked to adventure he had heard rumors of an ancient maze that hid a great treasure so he took it upon himself to beat the maze. The maze is intact powered by the mask of control and Umarak is slowly becoming mutated and addicted to the mask power he finally finds the mask and the MOUP awaits his arrival the mask tells him he could have unlimited power and riches beyond imagining if only he would go on a quest to take down the creatures he is further mutated and is equipped with armor and weapons drawing power from the mask of control.He then names himself Umarak 

For the summer wave I think that he has succeeded in capturing the creatures and they have fused within the shadow traps into three separate beasts, the MOUP is pleased and rewards Umarak with the full power of the mask of control the mask fuses with him and he turns into Umarak the destroyer and the MOUP sends him on a final quest to destroy the toa then full power will be his. The MOUP security has plans to take over powered Umarak body and retrieve all of the masks of power(creation time, toa masks). Umarak uses the beasts and ends up capturing the toa- end 2016, 2017 toa are in captivity MOUP has mask of time and has fused with umarak, he sets out to defeat ekimu and gain the mask of creation, while the toa are locked up they are turned into hordika like toa (2017 winter wave) and escape (includes summer wave of 2017 bad guys somehow) then the toa battle their way against the bad guys escape and 2018 is the final battle.

in the comics he was on iron mans side and then later switched to captain americas side, ether way sadly spider-man is probably only getting a cameo in the movie anyways spider-man is my favorite superhero (2099 more like) but that is another discussion.

If we go the superheroes route, we need a Galactus figure, if only for it to stand imposing over the normal minifigs.

G1 used different Mask level "Tiers" to denote power level:

 

Powerless- Used by Matoran. Only used by Toa and Turaga in emergency situations were a more powerful mask isn't available.

 

Noble- Used by Turaga and Av-Matoran, and sometimes Toa. Had basic powers associated with Great Masks. Can be compared to the G2 Protector's masks with "limited elemental power."

 

Great- Used exclusively by Toa. Large range of powers depending on the Mask. Golden Great masks hold multiple powers. Some Great Masks border on being "legendary" such as the Mask of Light.

 

Nuva- Supercharged Great Mask, exclusive to the Toa Nuva.Has area of effect uses (example: Hau Nuva user can shield allies in his proximity)

 

Legendary: God-tier masks that can shake the foundation of the universe. Three are known, the Mask of Creation, the Mask of Time, and the Mask of Life.

 

G2 hasn't explained a tier system yet, but we can make a fanon one easily based on the G1 system:

 

Noble- Protector and Villager Masks, perhaps the Toa's normal masks qualify as this

 

Great- Golden masks.

 

Legendary- Mask of Creation, Mask of Control, Mask of Time, Mask of Ultimate Power

yeah I knew the gen 1 "tiers" I was trying to find the limits of gen-2 mask assuming that other mask are out there. because in gen 2 creation doesn't do much even though we have only seen it used once.

we know the masks time, creation, shadow, now control, ultimate power, light, life. But have we established their true power do they have a limit I mean mask of control could it be an infinity gauntlet of sorts controlling reality mind etc and how powerful is the mask of ultimate power, I know the ahi has limits when it is incomplete, does the power depend on the user. Or again with the infinity gauntlet tie in are the masks of power just like infinity jems where each of them holds individual power most of which the user is unaware of, and when all brought together under an extremely powerful being the control everything. Also in the infinity gems life=soul time is still time MOUP=power control=reality shadow=space light/creation=mind somehow. what are your thoughts?

I'd love to see if lego could handle a Pokemon ccbs theme characters like humanoid pokemon and dragons like charizard and dragonite could have great potential.

that would be cool and then they could do something like throwbots with the cases and battles.

I think a Knights theme would be sweet, like the big Knight's Kingdom figures, except reduxed.  If they could figure out how to make the armor look cool (and like an actual suit of armor) I would consider buying one.

I would bet money that we're gonna see some Nexo Knights constraction figures within two years.

I'd like a series of LEGO Elves buildable figures, though I don't know for sure if CCBS would be the best system for it or if it might be better to have something based on, say, the Mixels joints.

 

More Super Heroes buildable figures could be alright, though I imagine I'd only be interested in them for parts. There aren't any superheroes who are particularly close to my heart.

 

LEGO Ninjago and Nexo Knights buildable figures could be awesome. The biggest question would be how to portray their faces. Just larger minifigure faces would look pretty weird, but the characters have never really been officially depicted as anything OTHER than minifigures.

 

In terms of new licenses... umm... Steven Universe? Question mark? I don't know how well CCBS would be able to reflect the diverse body types in that theme.

 

Right now I can't think of any concept for a wholly original CCBS theme that would be all that useful while Bionicle is still running. Except perhaps something girl-oriented that could allow LEGO to enter the fashion doll market the same way Bionicle allowed LEGO to enter the action figure market. But even then, again, I don't see why that couldn't be done as a spin-off of LEGO Elves, and I don't know whether CCBS would be the ideal system for it.

These are the only bootlegs i would consider buying.

for instance i want ether a ninjago kinda like the knock off ones but better, and a better done superheroes with a more serious less comical look not (shudders) joker.

At first, I thought you were talking about the Skull Warrior that was briefly seen getting smacked offscreen by Pohatu. But after slowing it down, I see what you mean. In all other shots of him, he looks normal. But this is strange... I could understand them upgrading his antlers to look a little more realistically shaped. But I have no explanation for the purple ribcage. Perhaps Umarak has some sort of armory somewhere that he uses to outfit himself for different purposes. That's the best I can come up with until we actually see the show.

 

But it's interesting to notice that those pieces are also present on Onua's shoulders... Perhaps Umarak stole them and is using them for extra protection?

hmm that is a cool theory though i can imagine that like he steals armerr from all the toa, wears the mask of control and becomes Umarak the destroyer it would make sense due to Umarak the destroyer build

got kylo a few days ago looks awesome totally worth it! his mask detailing is incredible and the cloth pieces make for great textures and he goes nicely with his spoiler grandfather.

if you go to the pohatu toa of stone video and pause it right at0:04 and 0:05 you can see umarak with the skull villain torso armor on his hands and different horns is this just for netflix or what?

after seeing all character videos I now have changed my opinion  this style looks so amazing (or maybe I'm just a biased lewa lover) I can not wait for the animations, like so much so that I bribed the doctor to come and bring me to Feburay blank.

if you go on brickiest there are links to more bionicle pics. After seeing these pics Ekimu looks way awesome with gold print on a trans torso shell and Umarak looks so amazing and reminds me of like a 20x better ultimate due some how. I am not really digging the lack of armor on the beasts, and I think I will only be getting one of them other than that that unmark mask in trans relish orange/ black looks incredible. Also the ninjago sets look extremly better than last years or later this years sets. I love all of the ninjago sets especialy the stealth raider set. I am also hyped for the elves sets I mean dragons what else could LEGO have done to get me to buy the "girls sets."

I think that also the mixes are getting better. I love love love love loooovvvveee that Porshe and the bridge battle set also I don't understand why the volcano base was "ugly" and "wasted a lot of space" I think it looks amazing same for the other next knights set espescialy the clone turbo tank like thing. My Birthday is around the summer so looks like I will have to make a thousand hard choices! SO HYPED!
