I got 200$ for my birthday and can't decide what to get. I can get any bionic set ever via bricklink, or I can get any set from 1to 200$. So what should i get i was considering axalara t9.

that episode was kinda lame except pohatu and ending, btw did anyone see the vahi in this episode.

In episode 1 they used some sort of power to call upon the Toa and the PoF used fire to tell tahu the prophecy, but do they have elemental powers really?

I'm saying masks like summer toa masks only for the six protecters ( fire, water, ice, stone, earth, and best of all jungle

SO when I went to go to Federal Way to purchase some home decor (ooh so fancy) I decided to stop by the Target.

Thats when they start towards they Ancient city actually, it ends with a Glow of four red eyes inside the temple of time. they don't meet the Skull armies until the Summer episodes.

but if you watched the non english episodes 7,8,9 they meet the LOSS at the gate to the ancient city

 

 

...Why does he have it? I get that he needs something to fight while flying, but the animations don't even show him using it.

Don't the animations show him flying with his boomerangs in hand and on his feet? I remember the fron of the box shows him riding a whirlwind while carrying the boomerangs. If the animations do too, it might mean that the boomerangs aren't strictly necessary for 'tornado riding', and instead just speed him up while doing so.

 

 

If that is the case, wouldn't them being put on his feet be kind of redundant? 

 

to me, in the animations and comics it seems as though when they get their golden masks they learn how to use their weapons for something other than surf boards, skis etc

I think the most probable reason why we're not seeing one for Lloyd is his unique role in the upcoming story and sets. He can be seen in a ghost-like form riding the Morro Dragon in that set, suggesting that he will be possessed by the ghost villains of the summer story and will be acting as an antagonist for a little while. Presumably that could allow less time in-story for him to master Airjitzu or gain whatever power up/technique the new "Airjitzu" Ninja variants represent.

 

Of course, if the Airjitzu sets are successful, it would not be out of the question to see another set of them early next year, which might very well include other characters like Nya, Wu, Garmadon or Lloyd.

apparently according to episode 6 the toa go on a quest for the mask maker into the ruined ancient city. What mysterious things happened here what happens on the toa's journey.(I think they meet the skull armies, in the ancient city)

For lack of better reference i am referring to them as the skull army. I think that the Toa travel deeper into the ancient city and this awakens the skull army. The skull army defeats the toa and steals their gold masks. The skull warriors poison the masks and leave their strongest warriors to defend them. the toa go on a quest to take back the masks, but somehow tahu and gali are separate from the group. They then stumble upon the temple of time where ekimu is and wake him. ekimu the gets cryptic and races out of the temple leaving tahu and gali. Eskimo somehow knows where the mocr is and goes after it, but is surprised to find skull grinder (controlled by makuta) there. then they fight ekimu wins and gets the mask of creation. tahu and gali finally catch up with ekimu as ekimu finds the other toa. together they defeat the skull army and get the infected masks back only to find that the masks are not infected, but more powerful than the golden masks. what do you think?

also in the background of skull warrior there are an army of skull warriors on a gateish structure, and on skull grinder vs mask maker there is two moons.

I still say the LoSS is Makuta in a "mutated from the MoUP" kind of way. Seeing as how the events of the fight between Ekimu and Makuta and the coming of the Toa spans several generations from the way I understand it. So I see no reason to believe that Makuta didn't fall into a coma while his body underwent the change the MoUP was inaction on him over an extended period of time only to finally wake up as the LoSS. Had he kept the mask on, the transformation would have been swifter however because the mask was knocked off it took much longer. Also to add to this idea, the reason he is now a Skull spider himself has to do with one perhaps interacting with Makuta's body while mid transformation.

But loSS dies or falls down a cliff in episode 9

I have to say I liked Nidhiki's somewhat tragic life and story. He was a realist, and I respect that.

It's a little odd that the Toa don't get their elemental powers until they actually get their golden masks. But like some others have already said, I feel like maybe the masks grant the power, and then they can keep using that power even if they aren't using the golden masks. But the thing about that is why would they need to wear the golden masks at all (besides swag of course)?

 

I also think this is a case where kids are going play with the figures as if they always have their powers, regardless of whether they're wearing their golden masks or not.

 

One way I'd also like to think about it is that the golden masks are simply a power upgrade. I mean, it's obvious that the Toa had powers already. We say Pohatu flying around in that tornado, and Gali breathing underwater is probably a power as well. The original non-gold masks obviously had to serve some purpose, other wise they wouldn't have names relating to each element that they belong to. Think of it this way. When Tahu puts on the golden mask of fire, he is granted new abilities related to his element that he didn't have before, and in addition to whatever powers he already had.

 

But that's just my theory.

pohatu makes the tornado out of his jettarangs on his feet. but i like the theory
