    I actually quite like the interplay between the detailed character designs and the more expressive backgrounds and effects. The backgrounds are reminiscent of the ones from last year's webisodes, which adds a nice feeling of consistency from year to year, but now with more dimension to them so the 3D Toa don't feel totally out of place.

     

    I definitely like that the Toa are set-like, but just stylized enough to feel more lifelike. For instance, Tahu's Bright Red and Tr. Flu. Reddish Orange parts are basically treated as the same color in the animated version, and his hips and thighs are a lot less bony. It is a bit frustrating though that subtler details like the runes on the Toa's masks aren't as noticeable in this style.

     

    I do kind of wonder whether the Toa's masks will be able to convey emotion as well as the more stylized 2D designs used in last year's webisodes. So far we've mostly just seen action scenes that don't really do a good job showing that, but if we see the Toa having an actual conversation, I would want to be able to see what they're feeling.

    I believe the surprise Minifigures theme is supposed to be Disney, so probably no BIONICLE figs any time soon. :P

     

    As to what I would want to see, I have to agree with Aanchir. The Temple of Time didn't have much conflict, so unless it becomes a key location in the future, we probably wouldn't get a set of that. While the City would make for a bunch of interesting playsets, I think it might be interesting to have the creature shrines depicted. We'd get to include Golden Mask shrines, the Elemental creatures that guard them, the Toa, some shadow traps (and maybe Umarak), but we'd also get to have a bit of Okoto's environments, like the jungle, or volcano, or caverns. I think that'd be cool to have. :)

    Ok so I was looking at the 2016 catalogue that Bzpower posted and i saw that it had a mystery minifig and then new series coming in June I looked just above it and it said Lego bionicle minifigures I knew that it was just saying this cus bionic was on the previous page but then i got to thinking what if we really did have a gen 2 playset would you want it what would it be? I personally think a temple of time set would be awesome!

    I recently rediscovered exo-force and i have really gotten into the storyline and sets it was an awesome line. I wondered if Lego would ever do something like that ever again i mean a kid can dream right? Anyways I thought I would start a topic dedicated to this great theme!

    As long as they're official sticker sheets, yes.

     

    can i use cloth for a hood ?

    You can only use official LEGO pieces.
    Thanks already built darth revan without hood but with bottom gaments but don't have star wars construction light saber or cloth so must try brick built or no hood
