Would definitely get this game if I knew my laptop could run it. This sort of game sounds like something I've always wanted.

Prototype weapons and masks are pieces I'd be most interested in acquiring, specifically ones with unique colors. As far as I know, the masks that were given away at NYCC were simply looser than the masks that were packaged and sold. Would love to have silver boomerangs. Kind of jealous now, haha. Where might I find the compendium though?

Ordered my last Bionicle set from Toys 'R' Us not too long ago. Hope Lava Beast turns out to be a decent set. Either way he'll complete my collection of fire element figures. Just wish I could have found him in the store, but sadly all of the Beasts were nowhere to be found.

Likely the case. Not sure how long it took for G1 prototypes to ever show up, so I'm not too knowledgable about this topic. Just thought I'd ask anyway.

Have any such pieces surfaced yet? I'm curious if there are any unique pieces that might be worth going after.

Did any of the sets in G2 actually have a transparent orange head?

Ironically, I was looking up potential leaks of the winter wave sets. That's where I saw a video regarding the end of G2 in the recommendations of the joke video I found in my search. I didn't think it was real, but I found out it was later that day.

I suppose I'd have to agree. Though now that Bionicle is being cancelled, I have to pick up quite a few sets to fill out the gaps in my G2 collection. I also have to get a sealed Pohatu Nuva set. Which will probably be spendy.

That's the one with Pohatu, right? Amazon has one listed new at 86 USD, give or take some change. If yours is opened, but still in good condition and has all its pieces... I'd say you could maybe sell for ~65-ish? Though don't take my word for this, you might find a buyer willing to pay more.

Like a few other people here, I typically swapped out the red size-2 axles and the blue rods for their black counter parts. I don't do this anymore since I've sort of grown to like the small breaks in the overall color scheme. For the most part though, my sets were either built as pictured or scraped for MOCs.

If the video-story-things (I have yet to view any, so I don't know what they're like.) are kept throughout the line the original cast could be treated as reoccurring characters so they don't stay completely out of the picture. Heck, a 'Previously on BIONICLE' introduction could work if it kept things short and simple. On a side note; am I the only one thinking that these new villains are going to make for some wicked (official or not) combi-models with the Toa? I'm definitely going to try for a zombie-esque Pohatu with Skull Scorpio's new chest plating and the bony limb pieces.

At least I wasn't the only one thinking tonfa when I saw those weapons. I honestly don't think they could have been implemented better than what they were, and I don't mean that in a good way either. But hey, at least it adds a little flavor to the usual stock of weapons which are typically swords.

Picked up a Guardians pack at my local TRU today so maybe the page for the product is just broken? Baby Groot is somewhat underwhelming to be honest, but that fez piece is neat.

The Guardians of the Galaxy accessories pack seems to already be gone. Would've loved to have at least seen the Lego version of baby Groot.

Hydraxon and Maxilos are tied for my favorite set from '07. As far as the Toa Mahri go though, Hewkii is my favorite mostly because I really like how his launcher is connected.

Brain Attack Rocka. I bought it because I wanted to build a new constraction set rather than dig through my parts bin to finish a Bionicle set and to see the 'new' (New to me anyway.) CCBS. I was rather unimpressed by the system, but spinning that shield never gets old.

Granted, the sound of your sneeze now sounds like the word 'dubstep'. Have fun with that. I wish this wish wasn't corruptible.

Just out of curiosity, will there be a place where entries can be discussed or can they be discussed here?
