  1. Not at all. Then again, I haven't seen it since I was a child.
  2. For the most part, I was able to get a lot of the sets I wanted. Not always right away, but I would get them for my birthday or Christmas. I did miss the first four years of the theme though. I ended up ordering a lot of older sets from Amazon because of that. Teridax '03 was probably one of my favorite orders back then; especially considering I had always wanted the big bad of the Bionicle universe. Aside from him, Pohatu Mata was one of my favorite sets of all time. I remember opening up the box he came shipped in. The person that delievered it had packed a feather in with the sealed canister and I kept it for the longest time. Ah, memories. Speaking of which, I really need to look into ordering a sealed Pohatu Nuva to finish my Pohatu collection.
  3. 2/5 I recognize you by your name and the couple of comments you have left on my profile feed. How do I go about getting one of those? I'm pretty sure I read about it a while back, but I don't remember.
  4. So all of the more complex AI functions are stored within the Hero Core, Quaza, or whatever? Hypothetically speaking, would that mean a Hero's core could be placed within any machine and give it the same personality, knowledge, and abilities that it had in its previous body? Again, I'm not at all familiar with Hero Factory's story, so this is all new to me.
  5. 3/5 I recognize you by your name, font color, and such. At least my title as the Other Pohatu Guy grants me recognition.
  6. Don't worry, I know exactly what you mean by that. I actually avoid using black as a primary color in a lot of my creations for that very reason. However, I'm certain there's a way to make it look good in photos. I just haven't found it yet. Thank you for sharing that. I've seen that piece a couple of times, but I never knew where it came from.
  7. 2/5 I recognize you by your avatar and your liking of Rahkshi. Being known as "the other Pohatu guy" is a sign that I really need to change my avatar soon.
  8. I never kept up with Hero Factory's story, so I basically know nothing about it. I didn't know if it provided any special powers, yet rendered a hero weak if it was ever removed. Seemed like a sound assumption. Thank you for explaining it though! I almost want to buy a Core Hunter set now. Haha.
  9. Nice animation! Though as Wiriamu pointed out, Phantoka Kopaka was missing from that second to last scene. While I'm sure most of your high school won't notice, I'm curious why you didn't include him.
  10. I don't have any idea what CAD is, but these are fairly accurate recreations of CCBS parts. Though your shell piece is missing the pin holes used for clipping on armor. It's sort of an important part of the piece and it looks odd without it.
  11. BZP covers more than just other constraction themes and sets already. At least in their reviews. The discussion in non-Bionicle sub-forums might be lacking, but it is there for people that want to participate.
  12. These all look really neat. The builds are pretty creative and unique. That elephant head is probably my favorite part of these MOCs. The cohesive color schemes are really good as well, but I feel like the black is almost like a void. It's hard to make out a lot the details in the builds and some parts' design. Speaking of parts, what set is the elephant's chest plate from?
  13. Did the dance of their people in space. This impressed the gods, so they were forced to continue. After hours of jumping, stomping, spinning, and dance-y stuff they began to...
  14. 3/5 I recognize you by your name, font color, and a little more.
  15. So I've been messing around with some of my Hero Factory sets lately and I've been wondering what in the world these little white pieces are. I think I'm safe in assuming they strengthen Heroes, but do they provide any extra abilities?
  16. York. Unless I have to count what's in the parentheses. In that case, Rohtak.
  17. The Toa Metru and Hagah build was always the most iconic to me. To me it looked very heroic and didn't feel as flat as the Inika builds. The Mahri Matoran build remains one of my favorite small builds in G1. It actually made the Matoran seem like they were capable of defending themselves for once. Though the cutest Matoran were the Tohunga for sure.
  18. The free comics in the magazines were a great thing back in the day, but frankly the graphic novels were probably accessible to a wider audience if only because Lego began to limit magazine subscribers to children last year. Of course, like the magazines, they would probably be made available online for free, which would suffice if you were only interested in the story but not if you were interested in owning physical copies of the comics like your comment suggests. Lego limited their magazine's audience to children? That's odd. I get what you're saying considering that. Speaking of the graphic novels though, I really ought to pick up the one at my local comic store soon. But ch'yeah, I would have been more interested in collecting them than reading them.
  19. Granted. Enjoy your lukewarm salt water, kind sir. I wish I had a Kanohi.
  20. I'm wearing a medium sized, plain white t-shirt. The white has slightly yellowed with age.
  21. 2/5 I still only recognize the username and avatar.
  22. That face really brings back memories of the movie version of Teridax.
