  1. I was wondering if Bionicle's G2 parts will ever be added to LDD. I wanted to recreate a few G1 creations with G2 flair, but I really don't want to scrap my sets and I can't afford duplicates.

A rather enjoyable read. Sorry to hear your computer has some issues and I hope you can get it fixed soon!
  3. There's still not a single Lego store in my state, yet Virgina has three.
  4. Noticed the Deus Ex image in your signature. So, I was wondering if you are enjoying DX:MD.

I only just reached the second visit to Prague. Won't be able to get any further than that until later next month, sadly. Just out of curiosity, is there a new game plus mode like in DX:HR Director's Cut?

Yes. Have you played the first game, (DX1)?

I'm still on my first play through of that as well, but yes. It's an enjoyable classic that manages to really pull me in every time I boot it up.

  5. Note for mobile users: The following images are hosted on Dropbox. Because of this, you may be unable to view them. If that is the case, simply try opening the links on your PC. Greetings, viewer. I take pictures of Bioncle sets. These shots were all taken with a fifth generation iPod Touch and a variety of small LED flashlights. Constructive criticism is welcome, but please know that I am aware all of my photos have the same feel. This is not necessarily intentional; I just don't have a lot to work with on hand. If you have any inquiries regarding a specific shot, please do not hesitate to post your question. Enjoy. Brutaka. Head shot. Discovery shot. Ekimu. "Are you the Toa of Light?" Alternate shot. Jala. / Jaller. Destiny shot. Inika shadow shot. Kongu. "Following the Jungle-song." Kopaka. Infected Uniter head shot. Uniter weapon shot. Panrahk. Head shot. Alternate shot. Pohatu. Partially drained Master head shot. Mata head shot. Mata discovery shot. Mata shadow shot. Phantoka Head shot. NEW! Riding the Rockoh T3 NEW! Storm Beast. Head shot. Takanuva. Twilight head shot. NEW! "I'm half Toa of Light, half Toa of Shadow." NEW! Velika. "Only you can pull me out of this storage bin." New photos coming late November. If you are interested in seeing photos of a particular set then feel free to ask. I might take the photos if I have access to the set requested.
  6. I'm inclined to agree with the others that have said the feet are too small. However, I feel like if you weren't using Pohatu as a basis for this MOC, it probably wouldn't be a big deal to me. I like everything else about this MOC though. The way the blue tubes clash with the burnt orange armor makes for a very interesting color scheme.
  7. Just dropping by to say I love your art! Those Valentine's Day comics were very amusing.

      Thank you! :D

I'm glad you liked them, I plan to make more for the next Valentine's Day. Thank you for stopping by! ;)

  8. Even though it's a bit unreasonable to say all sets should be kept under twenty, I'm inclined to agree with this notion. The only thing that stopped be from getting more sets were price points. I don't care what anybody says about inflation, price per piece, or whatever. The fact is that G2 and the Star Wars figures are expensive.
  9. These Pop figures are kind of ugly to me. It's funny to see some recognizable characters on the shelves, but the quality of the products doesn't look that great and there's just no point to them. They can't be posed, they don't look good, and they inspire absolutely no creativity. So no, I wouldn't buy them even if they were Bionicle.
  10. I remember meeting Sayger at the last Herocon in NC. Really friendly guy and I absolutely love his work. I actually got my issue of Ignition #0 signed by him. He also gave a little information about what working on Bionicle was like. It was really cool and I'm super glad to have gotten the chance to meet him.
  11. This thread is quite fascinating. Even if there's really no longer a point to the countdown, it's still an interesting thing to delve into and setting a Bionicle holiday around it would be way cool.
  12. I certainly agree that the variety in weaponry was nice. I especially liked the use of hammers. However, I'd like to point out that hammers were used by at least two characters in G1; Pahrahk-Va and Turaga Onewa. But ch'yeah. I'd just like bows a little more if they didn't limit posing abilities.
  13. Personally, I have never been a fan of weapons that required more than one hand to hold. Such weapons severely limit the amount of poses a figure can be put in. Two handed weapons were in a few sets in G2, mainly in the form of bows. I felt these were really awkward to pose, especially on the Protector of Jungle due to the set's smaller size. So, I was wondering what BZP's general opinion was regarding bows in this latest generation.
  14. 2/5 You might be the only Rahkshi I know, but I don't know you well.
  15. Picked up Storm Beast today, but I still haven't built him just yet. Somewhat surprised to even see all of the beasts side by side at my local Toys 'R' Us all things considered. I had to actually order Lava Beast because the store didn't have them in stock at all when the wave first launched. If I can somehow make it out to my local Barnes & Noble, I should be able to grab Uxar. That set will round out the 2016 half of my collection at least. Then maybe I'll finally be done with G2. In the United States, the summer 2016 Bionicle sets are exclusive to Toys 'R' Us. As for why other stores' Bionicle sections are disappearing, I guess that the ones you've visited have simply sold out of all the Bionicle sets they had in stock and opted not to order more from LEGO. Wal-Mart hasn't had carried a good stock of constraction since the last year of Hero Factory in my experience and my local Target is only marginally better. In terms of variety, the nearby Barnes and Noble is pretty good, but even then there's not as much available as there is at Toys 'R' Us.
  16. Having watched the entire series, that Knight Rider set is a must-buy for me even though I don't own Lego Dimensions.
