    So, I decided, "Hey! I really don't know much about this Bionicle business at all, and dragging myself through a wiki is no fun, so let's go read discussion topics on BZPower! Might be worth it!"
     
    So I sat down and started digging through Storyline, Bionicle Discussion, and so on.....
     
     
    Good Lord, people, it's a toyline. It's a toy, it's a toy, and will be nothing more than a toy. And you guys are fighting? Insulting each other? Some of this stuff is almost on par with the comment sections of CNN/Fox/NewsSite! That's ridiculous!
     
    You guys can't just sit down and enjoy this, what you have in common, without wanting to fight? I get that there's a lot of people here from different backgrounds, ages, lifestyles, and so on and etc.
     
    But you can leave that out and just enjoy Bionicle. Or Harry Potter. Or cars. Or baseball. Or my personal favorite, coin collecting.
     
     
     
    But really people. Just really.

    The Dog is Screaming

    Like always. He sits at the door to my room, screaming and crying because my pig won't let him into the room. Then my pig sometimes chases him away to great noise and event.
     
     
    Needless to say, this makes writing, or doing anything, a hard task.

    Some stories are like corn. It takes a few attempts and a few crops before you can grow the perfect earful. Also it takes a lot of time.
     
    Then some stories are like random roaches in the Walmart parking lot. Before you know it, they have run up your pant leg and are getting cozy with your privates.

    I have a deep, shameless love for books of all kinds. I have been seriously considering starting my own library, operating out of my room. Could work, I think.
     
    Something I've always wanted to do was post reviews of books, and this blog seems like a great place to do it! Review books, and get books recommendations.
     
     
    So, BZPower, any books that you've adored that you care to share with the Titan upstairs?

    A bit of honesty

    I'm rarely on this site and have rarely posted about anything in any format because the honest truth is I've been on this site before under a different username, a different account.
     That account was bullied off the site.
     I was much younger then. I was ignorant of things and was just looking to have a good time with friends I made. Older members, adults, on this site came after me when I was 14 years old and bullied me off the site.
     That's the BZPower I remember and know. I made a new account later in life, this one, and hoped I could talk about my passion of Bionicle again without carrying the social stigma that was made against me.
     It, frankly, hasn't worked well. I see many of the same folks that hurt me dearly still posting and being active.
     BZPower, to be honest, lost its way. It stopped being about Bionicle a long time ago and became a clique. The forum was ran(both on staff and off staff) by a group of people that used the forum to flex their internet power points on others. Many things I posted, shared, wrote, whatever...were criticized and ignored for not being one of them. And that's a hard thing to take when all you want is to have fun on a website dedicated to a toy.
     There is not a single friend I made on BZPower that I still know today because of the environment created here. My friend, S, has become consumed by this site and I can't bear to talk to her ever again because of the venom built up in her over all this. It's too much.
     It's all too much for a toy.
     It was just supposed to be a toy fan site.
     That's all I wanted. I got a lot of other things instead.
     I'll probably still be around, here and there. I've said my piece.
     I'm done holding the sky up.

    January of 2018 was the last time I was here.
     
    It's been a long time. Lot's changed. I broke a couple of times, picked myself up. Still kicking.
     
    Might write a short story or two. About something.

    All 4 Wisdom Teeth

    Gone. Ripped out Monday in less than five hours. Went home, and turned out I'm allergic to the anesthesia, so I was puking sick the rest of the day. Didn't sleep hardly at all last night, and now I'm hooked up on pain killers and can't feel anything.
     
     
    I guess I could say I'm in a better mood now than I was over the weekend.

    No, this isn't a place to discuss recent, but unfortunate events. No, this isn't an attack on the great staff we are lucky to have. These are four rules I've created for myself, over my time as a moderator(s) and even once as an Admin of various sites. And I feel I should share them.
     
    1. Be respectful. Always. Even when emotions run high, don't attack. It's not worth it, and it doesn't help anybody. Give the staff your respect, and if they are worth their salt, they'll return it.
     
    2. Be accountable. When you make a mistake, break a rule, or insult somebody, own up to it. If your pride is so big you can't do that, you have other issues. Coming clean the first time, every time is the right thing to do and it saves everybody's time.
     
    3. Be forthcoming. Don't let an issue sit and boil with another member until it explodes. If you have a problem, talk to a staff member about it. The longer you let it sit, the bigger the explosion will be. Somebody will be hurt, somebody may leave, and nobody wants that. Don't let it happen.
     
    4. Be honest. You can lie and hide, but the truth comes out over time. And it's never pretty. When asked by staff anything(except obviously, that which is personal or degrading(common sense!).), be honest. Saves time and it's respectful.
     
    I've learned these over...oh, several years now. Good rules to live by, and good rules for online. I just felt like I needed to share them, as a small reminder given the current mood.
     
    Again, this isn't to discuss recent events and this isn't an attack against the staff. This is just me, feeling like the site could use this reminder.

    It's been a while.
     
    A long while. Not exactly sure of the time frame to be honest, but it may be far too long.
     
    Well, where was I? Air Force Basic Training, 323rd Training Squadron, Lackland AFB, Texas. Had a fantastic time. Grew a lot. Lost 15lbs, almost made honor grad, and met some great people(and some awful people.).
     
    Now, I'm at Tech School for Weather. Meteorology. Cloud science. Keesler AFB, Mississippi. I have about 6 1/2 months ahead of me and I'm looking forward to getting past it.
     
    I'm back. Look forward to my writing on the weekends primarily, as the weekdays are far too busy for that. Anybody miss me?
     
    Wouldn't be shocked if nobody remembered me, wasn't around that long in the first place.

    Over the course of the next few weeks, I will be making BZPRPG characters based exactly on Marvel/DC Characters. These types of characters are affectionately(actually, not at all. They are hated pretty much everywhere except on a certain RP site I cannot mention.) known as "Carbons," as in "carbon copy."
     
    My starting character is most likely going to be Daredevil. (Mattew Muridock, perhaps?) Any fan favorites around here?

    Second Interview went amazing, the guy told me that I was one of the best people he's ever interviewed, and they would let me know Monday.
     
    They called Tuesday, and told me that THEY WEREN'T INTERESTED IN EMPLOYING ME. They said I was overqualified for the position, and they had no management positions open.
     
     
    I was applying for a starter-position.

    That was wild.
     
    I was asked to repair and fix up two computers, both of which are rather fast and good machines once they were fixed. The lady then asked which one was better, so I let her know, and she gave me the slower one as payment.
     
    Not complaining, I needed a good gaming machine....

    Coin Collection

    I've self-appraised my coin collection today. Took me around 6 hours to get through the more important pieces of the collection, and now my back hurts. But the worth stands somewhere between $80,000 and $100,000.
