  1. The phrase "Biological Chronicle" does not appear to be copyrighted. Although I would miss sets, I would love for the story to stand on it's own. Many times, the story had to accommodate the sets. If the story were to stand on its own...
  2. Brutaka, The Dermis Turtles, and Turaga Lipuret stare at your summer home, coming up with a plan of invasion. Suddenly, they find that a plan was unnecessary to seize your summer home. A stream of silver liquid seems to have seeped out of a bottle in your pantry. It flows, its wandering stream causing chaos wherever it goes. This, of course, has the effect of forcing you outside of your summer house with your most prized possessions, including the Ignika. This leads you straight into the hands of the Turaga and his team of Toa. They take the mask by force, then shove you into the lake of Energized Protodermis that has formed around your summer house. In goes a JAG18. Out comes... Oh. Oh no. What is that? I'm not sure... it doesn't seem like it has hands, though. It sinks below the surface of the lake. Surprised at their victory, the Dermis Turtles and their master join Brutaka jumping into the dimensional portal to their base. Honor to your Koro. Lipuret McKaukau's mask.
  3. I left further feedback on this on your Hero Factory post. In short: Transformers were designed for Earth, Bionicle was not. Hero Factory might work due to its marketing. Brutaka's Game was indeed a comic on DeviantArt, by the user called Saronicle. The main character was a self insert, and ended up falling into Energized Protodermis at some point. I mainly remember the gallery for an extremely amusing comic about Lewa poking Kopaka.
  4. Wow. This seems interesting. At this point, I have no clue who the narrator is, but I can't wait to find out. I'll be following this.
  5. Eh, well, it’s like Transformers Cybertron video games in the early 2010s where the Transformers’ stories of their war on their planet was told before they came to Earth and meet humans. We basically learn facts about the Transformers before they get out often. It’s a fancy way of doing introduction. For the human, I like things to be more humans. Popular franchises are super-successful with that idea. Tell that to the Transformers movies. Lol. But, seriously. It’s something new that I would like Lego to try when they bring back Bionicle or HF. I’m also determined to have a shared universe, too. It’s just that Bionicle and Hero Factory need to get out often after we learn basic things about them. It’s called expanding their universe(s). Plus, they can keep the classic stuff along the way because they’re what they are importantly, and the human thing would spice things up, rather than just CCBS. Just saying my ideas. Plus, I feel that Bionicle and Hero Factory could have potential for greater stuff. I mean, look at Ninjago. The Transformers were designed to interact with humans on Earth, and their stories and toys reflect this. Their entire theme is "Robots in Disguise." Their story was made for Earth, and as you said, was merely a fancy way of introduction. Hero Factory, and Bionicle, were designed as separate universes. "Getting out often" for both of these Lego themes would mean new planets, islands, or possibly another Lego theme. Hero Factory, though, has already interacted with humans via phone calls and podcasts, so it might be a possible plot point... for Hero Factory. I concede defeat.
  6. Four pages of irony, here we come! Sir yes sir! Well, you're obviously not dead yet. I've seen you posting around recently. I myself can honestly admit that this is probably the most active stand-alone forum I've seen. I mean, we are faring much better than the Casio calculator forums. Besides, we could always just use the Mask of Life. I have a feeling that sub-forum will be around for a while as well.
  7. Geez, this topic just won't end. I shall remain here for this topic and any new news from Christian Faber. I'm convinced both will last forever.
  8. This looks very nice! Are you copying directly off if BSO1, or are you composing your own entries? Either way, I look forward to perusing the finished product if you ever release it.
  9. Thank god that idea was scrapped. Agreed. Well, we had to focus on the Bionicle characters more because we didn’t know much about them back in 2003, and it’s silly to bring one measly human boy to the Bionicle world. What Bionicle would need in getting humans involved is to have a storyline where Toa Mata would accidentally get transported to the planet Earth and greet humans before they would feel like they would introduce humans to their world. It’s like the Thor movies. It’s a much better approach. Why wouldn't we still need to focus on the Bionicle characters more? We still don't know everything. Another thing: Although the story serials didn't tie into the main story very much, they still were related, and could be important to, the events happening in the main story. I feel that a trip to Earth by the Toa would be somewhat pointless. Aside from some some funny moments, we wouldn't be getting anything new from the story we want to see. While the main characters, and by extension us would be stuck on Earth, where we live, we would really just want to be exploring islands and learning something new about their world. The story serials, no matter how far out of the way they may have wandered, were still relevant. I don't think an Earth plotline would be.
  10. And now I have a spinning mask... I like it.

  11. I have to agree with most people here about Bionicle characters arriving on Earth in present day: It would not go over well. The Transformers movies are a good example of why. Realistically, any Toa or Matoran on Earth would be captured immediately, and potentially studied. You point this out in your opening post as if that would be a good thing for both parties. So... What happens if you restrain a six to seven foot tall humanoid robot with control over a natural element? What happens if you poke said robot with multiple devices? Suddenly, half of a continent could be wiped out, especially if it was a Toa being experimented on. Gali Nuva's Nova Blast leveled an entire island. My point is this- Would the Bionicle characters enjoy being "examined in [our] modern ways?" Any world military would likely use force eventually. Most people fear what they don't know about, and any Earth in which a Toa arrived without Bionicle as a toyline would almost certainly have that issue. Time periods in the past would be enjoyable because you could have things like knights riding horses chasing a Toa. It would be absolutely hilarious. I doubt the "hand thing" from How to Train Your Dragon would be effective. A Toa is basically human sized and proportioned, so doing that would basically be sticking your hand on another human's face. It would be awkward, to say the least. Part of the magic of Lego and Bionicle is that they take place in their own world. Live action, especially when nothing like that has been done by Lego before, would be a step away from that. Admittedly, humans and the Matoran species have more in common than humans and Transformers, so the dynamic might be different. I don't know. If you want an example of what a war would look like between humans and Bionicles, then look no further than the Brickbeard animations. The final one is of Tahu completely destroying the pirate's ship. I would enjoy seeing the Matoran Universe as one of the realms from Ninjago, though.
  12. It does, but did Ko-Wahi have a huge volcano sticking up over it? While Ko-Wahi itself does not have a volcano, the Mangai Volcano borders Ko-Wahi. Though there is the question of being able to see it over the Ko-Wahi mountains from Kopaka's landing point, it stands to reason that the volcano may be sufficiently massive as to be seen from the shore. There is a river heading inland between Ko-Wahi and Le-Wahi, but that would likely have more foliage. Approaching from the border between Po-Wahi and Ko- Wahi would have a similar effect. Abandoning the main Ko-Wahi area entirely, Naho Bay or the Hura-Mafa river border a small area of Ko-Wahi. The volcano would likely be visible. Trying to consider landing spots in Okoto... I actually gave up very quickly, as no volcano has the potential to be seen outside of the Region of Fire. It just occurred to me that a reboot would probably have a different map. Oh well...
  13. Hello again. Community Report: Has been mentioned on BMP. Response is pending. I do not have a Mask of Destiny or TTV account. They do not appear to have published anything. Social Media is largely unknown. Hmmm? Jokes aside, I feel like if Bionicle is still a Lego line after all of this, then I would expect the lines to stay rather clear-cut. New fans, especially younger fans, may not understand that a particular character is neutral or, say, an anti-hero. Lego themes tend to use absolutes with their heroes and villains. Well, I can't account for the credibility of this site, but: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/universal-lego-hero-factory-robots-movie-328785
  14. Hold on, I inspected the date/time element of that post and I found that it was posted at 6:34 PM EST. Copenhagen, where Faber lives, is 6 hours ahead of that, so that means Faber posted this at 12:34 in the morning on April 2nd. This means one of 3 things: Faber had a brain fart and forgot to post this in a timely fashion, so he posted the slightly-belated joke after waking up from a weird dream about a sexy grapefruit or something.Faber posted this at time of day people west of him on the globe would be able to see on April Fools'.This is actually a thinly-veiled legitimate post which Faber intentionally posted just after April Fools' ended for him.Again, if it is a joke, it could still be real, just not Bonk-related. EDIT: Also, it's worth nothing that nothing followed this up. No "haha, gotcha" from Faber himself, no explanation, nothing. Given that this isn't some clear, ludicrous prank, this suggests that he's actually trying to tell us something. The number "310" may be a hint, but I can't imagine what it means other than "lmao it was never Bionicle, just a number, you plebs." Might just be another Cryoshell album, but I think they just dropped one, so that can't quite be right. What's more, this looks like a professionally-made logo, which seems odd to pay someone for if it's only for a rather insignificant joke like this. I'll just wait to see what happens. I mean...what else is there to do? Track down top Lego executives, kidnap them, hide in your secret underground lair guarded by henchmen, and demand that The Lego Group reveal any information about Bionicle over an untraceable phone line bounced between Egypt, Mongolia, Australia and Chile, obviously. I really like this plan. How many members can we get to Denmark? On a more serious note, I like how this is starting to unfold. Can anyone speculate on how long it might take for the build-up to end?
  15. Probably because there is absolutely no information other than a picture. It is interesting, though... Edit: But people are talking about it!
  16. Hello. The poll has been up for over a year now, just so you know. Really a testament to how empty this sub-forum is, isn't it? Anyway, I agree with Breakout being the best year. It was pretty much the only year I ever bought a Hero Factory set, and the designs of the characters were well designed from what I've seen. I enjoyed building them thoroughly, and when I found out that there were two shorts, I watched and enjoyed them as well, despite clearly being designed for a younger audience. The only part I didn't particularly enjoy was the heads and their tendency to snap.
  17. Hi grillposter! I'm happy to meet you. Just fair warning though: the moderators don't tend to like religion on the forums, just trying to keep the forums welcoming to everyone. I'm sorry. I do agree with Lenny, though. If you want to post anything here, please go ahead. No one has posted here in ages. How are you? (Also, there is an official greeting topic, right here: http://www.bzpower.com/board/topic/13932-the-revolving-door-official-im-new-im-back/) Edit: Eh, Laval is probably correct.
  18. Alright. Now time is fixed... and I have nothing more to say. I use my Olmak to teleport you to the other side of the universe, grabbing the mask out of your hand as you pass me. Good luck getting it back! My Mask. Edit: Apologies, I get caught up in things, and I'm sorry for any confusion. Now everything is fixed.
  19. Gah... That kind of hurt. Anyway, congratulations! You have destroyed the Mask of Time, and so altered the fabric of the universe itself. Time is working in strange ways now... And there's a T-Rex. Lets run away from the T-Rex. Yes, that sounds like a good idea. I use a Kanohi Olmak to transport both of us to Artahka, who is probably the only one who can fix this mess. I grab the mask back - you did take it from me, after all - but afterwards, I reconsider. Maybe you should hold onto it for now. Glimmer's mask.
  20. I utilize the amazing powers of the combined Vahi in order to send you back in time to the point when you learned to ask nicely for items. Your younger self is so shocked to see you that they never learned the word "please." As a matter of fact, the word was associated with your olderself so strongly in your younger self's mind that it never returned to normal. The word please now sends you into a coma-like state. So... "Please." This, of course, sends you into the aforementioned "coma-like state." I then pick the mask up... but then, after a moment of thought, I decide to hide it away instead. No one should have two Legendary masks at once. I call an ambulance for you, then walk away into the night, looking for a suitable spot to leave a mask where no one will find it... My Mask(s) Edit: Good luck on the road to 1000 posts!
  21. The infinity gauntlet, along with the masks of time, life, creation, control, and ultimate power are sucked into a vortex that comes out of the space stone. Someone's mask?
  22. Congratulations! The sprites look excellent.
  23. May we see a sample of your work? Also, is this the Three Virtues symbol, or something else?
  24. The original 3 Bionicle films were fine; and while TLM is a bit more light-hearted than what Bionicle needs, if a future Bionicle film got the same talent behind it, it could be glorious. What you mean for "same talent behind it"? Taleneted director or script writter? The main target of my dream bio film , is tell a good story.Pretty much, yeah. Sorta like how they put Travis Knight behind Bumblebee instead of He Who Shall Not Be Named, and that allowed Bumblebee to be a legitimately good film. Heck, all Lego really needs to do is make sure they don't make another Ninjago movie, which we know they're capable of doing because TLM and TLBM are perfectly solid films. And yeah, like I said, they're a lot more comedy-focused than a Bionicle film needs to be, but the principle still applies and I'd rather have a funny Bionicle movie with a good plot than an edgy one with whatever the heck happened to TLR.Stop TLR is Toll like receptors? I actually know something, thank goodness. TLR is The Legend Reborn, the fourth Bionicle movie, set in the story of 2009. I think that just a single series for Bionicle would be sufficient, unless it would be too much to try to give every Toa and Koro their chance in the spotlight with a single series. If multiple series had to be in play, I would have 6 series, with one for each element. Sometimes Toa could show up in each other's series. That would take quite a bit of work, though. EDIT: More along the line of each Koro getting their own series, with Toa showing up as they will.
  25. I wasn't even the person who had the mask. The Ta-Koronans make it out of the mine while you take up your issue with the new Turaga of Onu-Koro. Back in Ko-Wahi, the two Le-Matoran are continuing to move forward through the Drifts of Ko-Wahi. The Ta-Matoran continue up out of Onu-Wahi, where they are ambushed by an infected Rahi. The mask is then taken to an undisclosed location that is definitely not in the center of the island. Makuta's Mask.
