  1. Our official language would be English, with OutOfGloom's Matoran conlang a mandatory second language taught and practiced at every school.

We'd build Bohrok swarms and program them to clean and maintain each district.

Kohlii tournaments would be held every two years, to coincide with Naming Day.

Wheels and paper are banned. Masks must be worn at all times.

Possession of Mega Bloks or any other non-LEGO building brand is punished with exile. To Karzahni.

  2. •I'm currently stuck in something I'll call "The MNOGII Stagnation". It is this feeling of slowness and unwillingness that's been keeping me from progressing with the game, and with it the storyline. Should I skip the game altogether and get on with the Rahkshi?

•I've been going back to my PS2. Needless to say, I had a questionable taste in games back then... Any recommendations for sprucing up my library?

•On a related note, a friend of my mom's asked me for help with finding NDS games. She has two young girls and her top screen is a bit faulty. She asked for Cooking Mama, so I'm getting her that. I'll also get Kirby Canvas Curse so they can seize the touchscreen. Any other ideas? My main concern is the faulty top screen, and the fact that there'll be many people on the console. Is there any way to know how many save files a game has before getting it?

Apologies if my post being just a bunch if questions is unfitting, but it is what I'm thinking!

  3. I guess they could handle the temperature aspect well enough. Su-Matoran are even more resistant to heat than Ta-Matoran, they could last longer down there.

That doesn't mean they'll just dive into it, though, for the reasons above. Lava is pretty thick, and it's probably hard to see and maneuver in it. Lavaboards were common for that reason, since they were the safest way to cross it.

As that guy in MNOG put it "lava surfing is dangerous, but fun!"

  4. I love Ga-Wahi as anybody else, and the focus on its wildlife was very interesting. The humanising narration gives the story some sort of moral atmosphere, much like a fable, while at the same time foreshadowing the Takea's bitter end. And the Ga-Matoran's enthusiasm is on point with their usual attitude, as if the story had suddenly jolted back into BIONICLE's original narrative style.

    Great story.

  5. I hope it's not dying, because I've been a BIONICLE fan for less than a year...

I think the quaintness of the fandom these days is nice, and it helps organization and goal-achieving in a way. To this day, it's still astonishing to me that something like the BMP exists, and it's left me wondering, why doesn't every fandom have this?

The BIONICLE fandom knows to care about its history, and that's beautiful. I'm doing my effort to frequent the boards, and constantly check what's left of the Reference for purchase advice. But this thing y'all have here is far beyond LEGO sets. It's worth treasuring.

  6. By means of a set of (conveniently left behind) claws, much like those once used by Toa Onua, I manage to rip the mask (your arm attached, mind you) off your person.

I bother to take care of the rest of you as well and promptly bury the leftovers.

And what's this? Oh, it's the mask! And it's mine!

  7. Throwing some ideas here...

Mask of Combination: Randomly combines/fuses the target(s) with any compatible organisms in the vicinity. The fusion's stability depends solely on the components' will to maintain it, so the mask's effect is more a prolonged inconvenience than anything. Its Noble equivalent is limited to one target, while the average Toa can extend the Great's power up to three targets. Multiple targets can end up fused to one another. It takes additional effort from the user in order to avoid being fused, although they can purposefully target themselves. Most Toa would shy away from such a mask, although its nonpermanent effects leave it in a better moral ground than many a Makuta's mask.

Mask of Encryption: A subdued form of illusion, it temporarily affects a target's speech, making them speak unconsciously in a different dialect than what is normal to them. A Great Mask of this kind makes the target unaware of the change (unless their willpower is strong enough to notice) for as long as it lasts. A Noble one's effect, meanwhile, is vulnerable to the listeners' calls to attention. The Mask of Encryption's power is considered quite useful for protecting information from easily leaving an individual's mouth. Nonetheless, the dialects it generates, while obscure enough, are not outside a Great Kanohi Rau's reach. Some Toa teams have learned to seize its abilities to maintain secret meetings, in which the speaker applies the effect on themselves while the others summon their Rau to listen.

  8. The spectacle of referential strongmen, although impressive in its own regard, is fully incomprehensible to my commoner eye. Therefore I am inmune to its otherwise deadly effects.

I sneak through and grab the mask, somehow managing to leave the graceful poses uninterrupted.

The coveted object is under my possession.
