Blessed with the power to control the elements, only to stoop to the level of a Skakdi mook." Ela's voice, out of combat, was naturally low and she spoke so that only Kiyaku would be able to hear.     IC: Karak - Arena Hotel “You talk out of neck.” I shoot back to Vraek. She still must assume that my status as a foreigner means I’m too idiotic to pick up on her tone. I scratch at my shoulder, nails scraping against the flesh beneath my armour, and look to the receptionist. If the heretic I left Skyra and Del with had anything, his staff was surely less easily shaken. I lower my own tone, speaking clearly. ”One room.” I repeat, glancing briefly at Vraek. “Give her. I find place.” The words come out almost as a conceded mumble - as desperate as I am for warm shelter when the desert heat becomes cold, I will not stand and beg. If this place will not have me, I can find another. OOC: @Toru Nui@a goose

    IC: Karak - Arena Hotel Whatever I miss with the words is instantly caught with the look. The disrespect would not be tolerated if I was still where I was from. But I notice the expressions these beings flash at one another on a whim. Faux-aggression, insecurity and arrogance expressed on whims. "You make face. Fear I show you up?"     IC: Karak - Arena Hotel This land and its warriors. I try not to look too close to any of them. A glimmer of metal in foreign places is enough to remind me that even the most blood christened among these people bear more resemblance to the butchers from the North than to my own ilk. Through confusing and frustrating exchange of words I had discerned this place to be one to lay my head for the night. A few of the locals appear to be talking at the desk, I ignore them, walking straight to the hallway nearby. OOC: @a goose@Toru Nui

    IC: Karak - Celrys' Workshop I am unable to catch his last sentence. Too quick, too nervously sputtered out. I fear I will never learn anything at this rate - even as I assume my understanding of the language has grown, I am humbled immediately. The tournament is my only other lead. And so I leave Del and Skyra to their flesh-meddling heretic God. I smirk to myself, remembering my own and Skyra's clash as we first met. If all Southerners fight that way, perhaps the arena would be amusing if not informative. OOC: @a goose

    IC: Karak - Celrys' Workshop I twist the grip on the handle of my weapon on my back once idly. I reach around the language wall, trying to focus on the words and phrases of most use and interest. silenced. Someone don't want Hmm. "Someone? Someone who? Rock Tribe? Agori?" This language is cumbersome but simpler than first appearance. It can be learned. OOC: @a goose

    IC: Karak - Celrys' Workshop "Hire?" I repeat back to him, and then to the receptionist, before thinking and comprehending the words he'd said. I make the motion of jingling coins together to him, and then I finally simmer for a moment. I did not plan on accompanying Del or Skyra for longer, so I point to the room I had already come from, gesticulating my finger to show where they were. "Might going to wait." I say. "Busy with Metal God." I speak the last words with venom, even just recalling Celrys' appearance disgusted me. OOC: @a goose
