  1. Well yeah, I voted for myself... But utter lack of attention was already a poor start, and to be paired up with Dume & Nivawk and Vezon... Plus I'm a sucker for Nocturn. So good luck in this race, the rest of you. ~|ET|~

    RTX Bound

Bought a weekend pass (with a 20% discount as a perk for going to Let's Play Live) this afternoon! I can't wait for August! Plus some friends from school will be coming down for it. I'm almost looking forward to seeing them more, honestly. ~|ET|~
  3. Sorry, should have been more specific. The brighter warm gold was a running change for the flat dark gold one. So it was originally available in the darker color, but those sets were being released while LEGO phased it out of their palette and so some got made in the replacement warm gold. ~|ET|~
  4. That's also a gold Kraahkan. More specifically, flat dark gold. It, like the warm gold one to its right, was available in the Tower of Toa set. The warm gold one is actually the rarer of the two. ~|ET|~
  5. Oh yeah, finished nearly all Chuunibyou has to offer except the movie and like one or two shorts that I couldn't find. That was a lot more fun than expected! ~|ET|~
  6. Yeah I don't really see them any differently than the non-set McDonald's toys. ~|ET|~
  7. The filler in One Piece is not nearly as bad as Naruto and Bleach. Quick check of a list on the wikia kind of makes it look like a lot, but most of those are one or two episodes in a row. Not the dozens Bleach would do. It doesn't also account for "filler" added in to canon arcs, particularly notable during one arc in the early 200s (in my opinion... it's the absolute weakest arc of all and the excessive padding in the anime makes it pretty painful). Most of that's not too bad or noticeable anyways. But it should give a good snapshot view of the filler. Either way, manga or anime, it will be an incredible undertaking. As my favorite, I absolutely recommend either, but which just comes down to whether you like reading or watching your media more heh. Watching will probably be a lot slower though. ~|ET|~
  8. The Sand Tarakava will never be added. It is still nothing more than a prototype. The Sea Squids and Zamor Spheres would be an exercise in futility. The Golden Armor is not a collectible. All would be (assuming one doesn't not get overly particular about mixes and shades with the spheres and squids) incredible short and not worthwhile anyways. ~|ET|~
  9. I was actually lucky enough to purchase both Marth and Villager from sellers on ebay before people started charging outrageous amounts (the only extra I paid for each of them was shipping). Captain Falcon and Pit I had the foresight to pre-order, although I had to import Pit from the UK to do so. How did you get King Dedede, though? I checked for weeks and never found any sites with him available or sold out. He was just always... there. Without a price or option to purchase. Japanese seller on Amazon. He and Ike are the only ones I overpaid for (so far...) at about double MSRP shipped.
  10. My three are Villager, Captain Falcon, and Pit (King Dedede just arrived a half hour ago), so I'm not much better off.
  11. Nintendo Amiibo Rosalina & Luma Nintendo Amiibo Lucario Nintendo Amiibo Ike Nintendo Amiibo Link Nintendo Amiibo Mario Nintendo Amiibo Pikachu Transformer Generations Arcee Nintendo Amiibo Shulk BIONICLE Lewa - Master of Jungle BIONICLE Protector of Jungle Transformers Generations Tankor BIONICLE White Metal Krana-Kal Nintendo Amiibo Wii Fit Trainer Nintendo Amiibo Sheik Nintendo Amiibo Toon Link Nintendo Amiibo Meta Knight Nintendo Amiibo Sonic Nintendo Amiibo Mega Man S.H. Figuarts Blue Rose So... Amiibo. I got a lot of Amiibo this month. Mostly thanks to wave 3 being so large (and its last member was supposed to arrive today but he didn't), but I did a lot of catching up too. And the best part is I only overpaid on two of them. (And WFT wasn't one of them! She was MSRP from Amazon.de.) And even then it wasn't that much. So I'm down to just three missing from the Smash line and I sure hope Nintendo sees the benefit to them in doing additional runs, although I highly, highly doubt it. Transformers were light this month, which is fine. Although wave 2 of Combiner Wars is starting to trickle in, wave 1 is only just hitting saturation here. So no big deal. Arcee finally arrived and I love her, and Tankor was an impulse buy after having to deal with seeing him and him alone on the shelves here for three months lol. Lastly, the BIONICLE additions. Lewa and Protector of Jungle were happening eventually and I picked them up now for BBCC #69. (And oh yeah... one of the reasons I got disinterested in MOCing besides being away from my collection for 75% of the year for the past four years... No feedback... Ever. Good or bad, I'd like any at all. Silence is the worst.) Unfortunately they didn't help with my original plan, but I still ended up using quite a lot of their parts in the final product. So far my experience with the Protectors is pretty darn good, since I have no problems with Mr. Jungle. Lewa does have some neck issues, but he's not my least favorite Toa at the very least heh. And finally - a true grail piece, a White Metal Krana-Kal. Thank you, TLH. Despite any misgivings, I am truly happy to have such a piece in my collection at all. So thank you very much! ~|ET|~
  12. The rest I totally agree with. And the part farmstink brought up, because that was just pointless.

    Paladin Mode

I still can't decide if I want him...
  14. Uh, hey guys. Totally didn't forget to post this last week. Nope, not at all! Games So this... Grew a lot, in large part to McFarlane and Nintendo. Nintendo stuff is now solely occupying the bottom row, and with all those Amiibo, it's already full. Will probably be moving them up to the middle row in front of my books where nothing else is just to have a better view of all of them. Those things are so cool. I hadn't even realized how many AC figures I got until taking these pictures. Talk about catch up. My PAK, NECA, and Jazzwares stuff are also there just because they don't really have anywhere else to go heh. Just random cool stuff. Oh and Figma Captain America because why not? You can really see here just how big Roxas is though. I totally would have gotten a Riku and Sora to go with him by now so he doesn't stand out so much if they weren't so expensive lol. Toku The fruity Riders are the big addition here. And Godzilla, chilling out being all cool and not photogenic. Splitting these to two shelves was absolutely disastrous. I wanted to maintain their position on the top, but didn't think of just how dumb that was given one of the shelves is angled into the corner with plenty of free space behind it. So of course I knocked them down after pulling some things out of the lower shelves. And had to take them all down and move it out and the fully, heavy BIONICLE shelf next to it away from the wall just to get a sword that I wasn't able to reach because it bounced underneath the shelf! >_< That wasn't fun. And now I'll have to be suuuuper careful. But yeah, Riders man! Godzilla might find his way back out with Figma Cap and the other randoms to keep room for expansion here, which I did need. I'm glad to be able to have them spaced out more now. BIONICLE Finally, the second reason for the new bookshelves. Besides Transformers, I had absolutely run out of room to place any BIONICLE sets. I was literally just stacking thing haphazardly to get them off the floor. I'm much more pleased with how things look now, even if they'll probably be full by the end of the year again. There's still more catching up with older years to be had too. Fortunately, there is room room to re-condense the shelves once needed. But for now, you can just see so much more of the big guys, and I like that. ~|ET|~
  15. The sets being on clearance already in places is absolutely baffling. ~|ET|~
  16. Still managed to concoct something with the CCBS parts I had after all, so here's Hewkii. ~|ET|~

    LET'S PLAY LIVE

    WAS AWESOME!! ~|ET|~
  18. Well, he does only have one hand. The right arm is entirely the gun. Glad you like its inclusion, though. I spent more time on getting that to attach decently than I care to admit lol. I'm curious what you mean by the exposed back though. If you mean specifically the gearbox area - not a big fan of how it looks myself actually. Just didn't have any large shells to cover it with somehow. ~|ET|~
  19. It has been far, far too longs since I tried my hand at building something. It was still pretty fun to get at it. Unfortunately, the deplorable state of my CCBS supplies made this particular build a bit of a task. It also took some getting used to just as a medium to craft with. Hewkii wasn't my first choice for the contest, but at least I was able to pull him off to my satisfaction. It's definitely Hewkii. If there's one thing I don't like, it's the quality of my pictures, but I've complained about that plenty heh. Just couldn't afford to keep waiting and find a better place. ~|ET|~ Source: Hewkii Mahri (BBCC #69)
  20. After an immeasurably long hiatus from the MOCing world, I present to thee, Hewkii Mahri - Master of Stone! ~|ET|~
  21. Even more impressed with Vader with this closer look than I first was! He's bigger than I realized and has a whole lot going on behind the scene (really appreciate that under-the-cape shot). Still not entirely sold on the unarmored/normal guys with just Luke to go off of, but Vader is such a must-have. ~|ET|~
  22. Regarding Toa Norik and Iruini: The two-pack exclusive version was only for the US. They were available separately in all other parts of the world. However, the two-pack still had them in their own individual canisters. So any purchased second-hand now are going to be much more easily found singly, even in light of their exclusivity in one region. I'm curious how rare the yellow Jetrax T6 is at this point. ~|ET|~
  23. Recent recap: Chuunibyou: Only up to episode 3. But there's the painful cringe I was looking for! Aldnoah.Zero: Thank you obnoxiously cliche twin for giving me somebody new to hate while Slain's character slowly redeems himself! Tokyo Ghoul: Man I do not really like how much time is being spent with the investigators. I want to know what Kaneki is thinking and how he's feeling, not glimpses of unexplained madness. And I stopped being interested in the "new young investigator is perfect in every way but is cold and hates everyone" angle really, really fast. Yet almost every non-action scene is about her... One Piece: Huh. Finally hitting points where they're padding stuff out with noticable filler scenes. I am okay with this because it still seems to flow. This is a massive arc with a huge cast that the manga glossed over a lot out of necessity. So by all means, avoid catching up by expanding on all of that! Naruto: Just please don't become this, One Piece anime. Because Naruto's current filler arc still doesn't interest me in the least... DRRR!!x2: Might have fallen back into the season one trap of a slow burn for story progress. Eh. Log Horizon: I am both confused by and really, really interested in what's going on right now. Those Odyssey Knights - man, interesting perspectives there. ~|ET|~
