  1. Legends is allowed? Ohhhh boy the things I want to see from this... Will probably not happen because of lack of recognizability haha. Would kind of hurt one's chances unfortunately. Also the type of theme I'd like to enter but probably won't because time. Ah well, still looking forward to seeing the entries. ~|ET|~

    The Cutie Re-Mark

It may have had more to do with just how absolutely exhausted I was when watching this yestereday, but it wasn't until they started redeeming her that I more or less fell asleep.
  3. This is the exact kind of show I thought about submitting when the request went out. I'm glad somebody decided to do it. And hey, maybe you could have some guests on in the future? Haven't watched yet, but it's been added to my watch later queue so I'll get to it soon. ~|ET|~
  4. Nintendo Amiibo Mii Gunner Nintendo Amiibo Mii Brawler Nintendo Amiibo Mii Swordfighter Nintendo Amiibo Mewtwo Nintendo Amiibo Falco Nendoroid N (with Reshiram) One year later and the Smash Amiibo roster is complete! ...Before post-release announced DLC. Very satisfied to have them all together, even if the journey is not quite done yet. The Miis are admittedly the weakest of the entire line in my opinion, but that's not really unexpected since there's not much to them. The imposing pose for Mewtwo and detail on Falco are both top notch though. N and Reshiram came in as a surprise release this month (10 days before the Japanese release even). N's cool. Love his character, so I had to get him. That Reshiram really steals the show just like Garchomp before it. It was a bit of a pain to put together because the pegs on the legs are actually bigger than the holes in the body. But he looks so great. ~|ET|~
  5. Thank you! I was actually going to ask Makaru for permission to just revive the old one, but just reposting was faster heh.. I was also going to make my next post ask about those haha. I haven't updated the mask lists yet because I wasn't sure about what to do with them. (And not having good shots of the non-gold Uniter masks... plus no frontal view of Tahu's for some reason... Or Umarak's... Plus one of the creature's... Okay there's a couple of reasons.) Right now they seem more like just heads. Good call on the gold mask. I'll try and find something. If only they had released it here like I had hoped and I could just take a picture of one I own, since I'd have definitely gotten it, but alas they did not so it's something I've not tried to really get. Edit: Oh jeeze I just noticed I have the bottom skull mask row really messed up. They don't line up at all. My bad! That'll get fixed in the next upload. They might get rearranged a bit, however, as I like the idea of the Mask of Control being next to the Mask of Creation.
  6. Welcome back! With a new year's worth of sets starting to be revealed, there's finally work to be done on the lists again. To use them, simply click on the list you want below to open the full-sized version, open it in any image editing program, and fill in the boxes using the colors from the indices. Sets Masks Individual Kanohi and Masks of Power Krana Kraata Kanoka Rhotuka Mask-like Back Up Links Can't see the above images or the links aren't working? Try here: SetsMasksKanohiMasks of PowerKranaKraataKanokaRhotukaMask-likeExamples For some examples of them in use, here are my lists: SetsMasksKranaKraataKanokaRhotukaMask-likeI hope you all find them as useful as I do. ~|ET|~
  7. Love the purple-gold fusion of the Mask of Earth, although the blue-white for Mask of Ice looked pretty good too. Honestly I really liked all of them. Wish we got the other two. But since I have to pick a least favorite, it'll have to be Stone I guess. While I don't have one personally to judge properly, it did seem oddest in pictures because of how little contrast there is between the colors compared to the others. ~|ET|~

Figuarts Kamen Rider Sigurd Cherry Energy Arms S.H. Figuarts War Machine Mark 2 S.H. Figuarts Super Mario Playset D S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Kiva-la Halo 5: Guardians Limited Edition Remember that thing I mentioned last month about maybe finding a better way to take pictures of my hauls? Turns out none of that matters because of a leaky water bottle that ruined my old phone. Replaced it with an S5 because sim card and removable battery. I still don't like how big it is (small hands...) but otherwise fine with it. Picked up Shay for completionist's sake and because I do like the character, but man McFarlane figures just aren't great. Plus this one has some really shoddy paint work on his head, but I don't care enough to replace him. Meh. Syndicate came in next and I've been loving it. So very few glitches and I'm about halfway done with the game. Just a lot of fun zipping around all over the place. Haven't cared much for the story, which is a shame. And while the developers didn't lie about there being more for the modern day compared to Unity, it's still so terribly disappointing and lacking. Also, cool statue and map yay! Figuarts all came in today, so no major thoughts on them yet. Play set is... the weakest of course but the number of different enemies is still cool. Kiva-la is pretty and I love how they designed her hip and shoulder armor to accommodate the articulation. War Machine is super solid and have no complaints. Sigurd was a suit design I always liked (shame the character didn't last long) so I'm actually really happy to have him, more so than the last couple Gaim releases. And then Halo came in today also. Played some matchmaking with a few friends right away and it's a blast. Not looking forward to building that Guardian metal model, though. I can see myself screwing it up a lot ugh.. ~|ET|~
  9. I like it. Can still clearly tell what each bit of armor is, but it's stylized enough to be more seamless and make sense. Like Tahu's combined swords having a single handle or Gali's shoulder armor not sticking out as much. Looking forward to seeing more of the artwork. ~|ET|~
  10. Ooh, last episode's out? Time to go binge... ... Aaand that was quick. Which is why I saved a bunch until the end, but still the pacing was left as my biggest disappointment with this year's series. I also did like that the Toa weren't the best at everything though. That was refreshing. ~|ET|~
  11. This cave painting, children, is what ancient cultures would have called a "Mahiki". ~|ET|~
  12. I'm pretty hopeful for this. Finally the thing many been asking for for years will be happening. I definitely want to see where it goes. ~|ET|~
  13. Ugh, Dark Pit... You didn't even sell out for a while after you were released! Why must you go for so much now?! With how many times they've rereleased Link (I think there's another one coming up even??), it really does surprise me that they haven't done either Pit again. She's about 5.5 inches tall, so a little short, but combined with her really thin limbs does make her seem rather tiny I'd say.

(NES) S.H. Figuarts Thor S.H. Figuarts Darth Maul Tried something new with the big group shot this month. Think it came out a lot better. The last big Smash Amiibo drop has come and gone. (And the last big one I'll likely be into at all assuming they don't do non-card Pokémon... Nintendo, please don't do non-card Pokémon!) A bit of a frustrating one since I was worried about missing so many pre-orders, but I got everything in the end without much fuss. And the only one I didn't get at MSRP was Bowser Jr. because I didn't feel like trying to go to Toys R Us first thing in the morning. Overall I think this was a really solid wave. Cool stuff like R.O.B. and beautifully detailed ones like Ganondorf made it great. Force Friday was a big highlight this month for many, but for me it was a rather mellow day. I was all set and ready to go out hunting for new Black Series figures and hoping I found something without participating in the initial morning rush, but then the day before Bandai revealed they were doing a Figuart of Kylo Ren available for pre-order that very night, so I no longer wanted anything form Hasbro haha. I did go and get some books just to see displays, but that was about it. I'm still fleshing out my Legends content, now with the last written books for it, but have also ventured into new canon. I kind of like that they paperbacks aren't in trade paperback size. It helps distinguish the divide on the shelf heh. Don't know when I'll get around to reading any of these though, I've been so bad at reading... Luke and Iron Man are two amazing Figuarts. I'm so glad I never bothered with the Hasbro Episode VI Luke because this one is perfect. Maul and Thor I only just opened moments before taking this picture, so haven't done anything at all with them, but they don't seem too bad. Except Thor's face, ugh. Lucina's nice to finally have, buuut... I don't know. I like her, but something just feels weird when I'm handling her. Fiiiinally back on the BIONICLE train. Still holding out hoping that the gold Skull Grinder mask pack makes its way stateside similarly to the transparent orange Mask of Fire, so I have something to order and get it from. But we've not heard a single thing about it, which is disheartening. Anywho, Skull Basher is a really cool set. Not pictured is the Ideas The Big Bang Theory set, half because it's on my mantle and I didn't feel like taking it down and half because it's technically my fiancée's. I got it for her as a birthday present and we built it during the season premiere, coincidentally the same day (thank goodness because that was a horrible episode, gave me something to get distracted with). I say "we" but it was mostly her. And she had a lot of fun! Which in turn made me really happy to see and be able to share my hobby. ~|ET|~
  15. I am watching nothing new in this next season. Feels weird. Should use it to catch up on stuff, but not sure what.. ~|ET|~

    SHE'S FINALLY HERE

Mine came today too, but haven't opened her yet either. She looks great though.
  17. Transformers Combiner Wars Devastator S.H. Figuarts 1-Up Mushroom Star Wars Black Series First Order Stormtrooper Nendoroid Cynthia w/Garchomp Sort of a light month, with some heavy hitters (mostly because of RTX, kept myself from going out and buying new BIONICLE again... Which reminds me, I never posted an entry with my pictures. Mostly because it seemed they weren't getting much attention...) First of all, I bought a 1-Up Mushroom. I hate that I had to, but it was probably the best deal I'll get on one, so whatever. Really do love the amount of accessories we have in the Super Mario sub-line. Really spices up the display. The Force Awakens is probably really going to hook me back into the Black Series line. The Stormtrooper's pretty nice, albeit does have some articulation issues. Really want that Kylo Ren, so you bet I'll be going out on Force Friday this week to try for one. Not going to a midnight release, though. I'm not that crazy. This trooper in particular is the SDCC one, and wow do I absolutely hate that part of it. For what was supposed to be the even-more-collector-oriented-than-the-already-collector-line-it's-from figure, Hasbro did an absolutely HORRIBLE job at the packaging. For starters, the figure is exposed in an open box. Only a very loose slip cover protects it. It wasn't inside of anything, really. Plus to remove it you have to cut those ties you see on clothing tags. No way he's going back into there now... It's just bad. The artbook was nice at least. Cynthia has laid to rest any lingering fear I had about not getting domestic releases of the Pokémon Nendoroids, seeing as they're exclusive in Japan and can't be ordered without middlemen. I wasn't all into her, but she's still nice. Garchomp is totally where it's at for me. He is huge and I love it. Pretty decent articulation on him as well. Bring on N! ~|ET|~
  18. I want in on the giveaway. Also, you're awesome.
  19. How are things going that I'm watching, hmm... Monster Musume is (granted, I knew it would be) turning into something that at times I don't feel should be discussed here haha. But it's still nice for a good laugh. Dragon Ball Super has been an absolute bore fest. Cannot get into it at all and animation has just been so bad... And the fansubs even worse. So many other shows, especially the big shounen ones, get subbed immediately by groups and fairly well. But this, Dragon Ball of all things, gets the poorly done ones rushed out the door and passed like wildfire first. At least on the streaming site I use, they don't get replaced by better ones either. As for animation, people like to immediately throw around how bad DBZ was or that maybe they were "in-between" shots, but for the latter - no. Entire sequences are just poorly done. And all this time later, one does kind of expect some improvements in standards ya know? Don't see these issues as blatantly in other things I watch. But mostly it's just how dull it is that's a let down. DRRR!! is still going quite strong. The season's been rather slow but I like that. Things are about to get crazy for sure. Oh, and I finally watched some of Beast Wars II. It's listed on MAL, so I'm going to count it here. The movie featuring Primal. It was... wow. Really, really weird for a Transformers show.. Japan did some straaaange stuff with Beast Wars. ~|ET|~
  20. Eh, I used to be light blue... Never got used to that honestly. Orange I hardly notice. Probably 'cause there's so many.
  21. Welcome to Kamen Rider, where getting boxing gloves for your Isaac Newton-inspired form makes complete sense. ~|ET|~
  22. Definitely feel more pressured to watch Big Hero 6 now as well. And "ultimate unlock" means you have to buy every... single... toy to unlock it. That's totally fair. :|

    RTX: Day Three

It's over! I can finally sleep! But I had an absolute blast for the most part! Started off today yet again super early. I tried getting my friends there in time for the RT Podcast, but because so many attendees just IGNORANTLY REFUSED TO ACCEPT THAT LINE RULES EXISTED THIS YEAR and made their own lines all the time, it was full even before the official "start" of the lining up period. >_< Meanwhile I sat and waited for my autograph session. Geoff and Ryan are two awesome guys. Got to chat a little bit with them, had my Let's Play Live t-shirt and RTX 2015 badge signed by them, and some pictures. I need to sort through all of my pictures in the coming week and upload them somewhere... Probably Facebook first. From there we went to line up for the Achievement Hunter panel. Got there three hours early (the actual start this time), got in one of the first groups, and had great seats. But that wait absolutely sucked... And the panel was a little lackluster and predictably annoying Q&A was predictable. But at least I can say I went to one and probably not try bothering to attend in any future RTXs... Then we just walked the show floor more. Managed to run into Burnie before his line got huge, which was cool. So that was one more signature for the badge. Then played Butt Sniffing Pugs and Behemoth's next game... whose name I unfortunately can't recall. Overall I really enjoyed my first RTX. It was incredibly panel heavy and I somewhat regret that, although there really wasn't a whole lot to do on the show floor anyway. Center stage didn't seem that active either unfortunately. There were some negatives I don't really need to get into, but overall it was great. ~|ET|~

    RTX: Day Two

So today was indeed pretty long. Started off completely exhausted, it didn't ware off until afternoon, and I am again now. Brief summary... Started with Red vs. Blue panel. Very funny PSA and we saw Episode 17 early. 18 was ultra hyped so can't wait for that. Went around the show floor more. Bought some shirts in the RT store and some dice. Been getting into D&D, via Skype with friends though, and kinda need my own dice. Attended the Ten Little Roosters panel. Really cool behind the scenes info out of that. Plus the Eleven Little Roosters announcement! Looks to be really funny. Also managed to get into Murder at the RTX today, but issues with the app prevented us from easily making progress (it literally wouldn't register any of the clues on my friend's iPhone so we had to resort to the QR scanner method and... kinda lost interest fast). But I like the idea behind it still. Finished the day with Meet the Lazer Team. A lot of clips were shown during that. Plus more cool behind the scenes talk from the main cast. Surprised it didn't fill up right away (there were so many after hours events at the same time tonight though), so we got in when we didn't expect to be able to because Murder had delayed us from lining up. But that was very cool! ~|ET|~
