  1. The ease with which one can cheat and game the system for this contest concerns me. It's so obvious that one has to think it was realized during it conception, so maybe there's some sort of internal filtering that will be done to alebiate that (if somebody really is picking, they could probably easily prune all of the repetitive entries that people got from image searching). One can only hope. The incredible accessibility of the contest, however, is a great boon and I'm very glad to see that. ~|ET|~
  2. I'm at least glad that it is, for the most part, genuinely open to everybody and everybody has a chance. That's a very good thing. Yet I'm still of two minds, because I can't say I like the apparent randomness of it and how there's zero abillity to prove authenticity of the entries (since it wouldn't be hard to find suitable pictures on the Internet and flood the contest with them). ~|ET|~
  3. I'm kind of afraid to know what went down. :/
  4. Meh, oh well. Tarakava and Hewkii still available? ~|ET|~
  5. Such great finales this week! And the best part is, they all felt like proper season and series finales this time. Tokyo Ghoul: Yeah, that's a proper season closer. Not mid-fight like the last one, which was so annoying. I loved the moment Kaneki and Hide had and how it played out. Spent the entire time thinking Kaneki was the one injured, which is why he was so silent, and then Hide falls... Overall just a satisfying conclusion to Kaneki's little rebellion of sorts, but I certainly can't wait to see what happens next (and hopefully it involves explaining what actually happened to Kaneki). Log Horizon: Hope. Underlying theme of the entire season and the finale really exemplified it. There are still a lot of questions to be answered, but I'm more than ready to wait for them. I just find this show really fun to watch. Glad it ended on action too and not politics heh. Durararax2: Weeeell... Yeah I am quite pleased to know we have two more seasons of this coming this year, even if they're all so separated. The Dollars twisting Mikado, despite them becoming what he didn't want (or did he secretly desire it?), was interesting to watch. How easily he snapped and returned to normal was shocking, but probably the best part. Aldnoah.Zero: This entire season made up for the ending of the first and then some. I think that if viewed as a whole it might not be so bad. Only thing I wish had been shown in the conclusion was Lemrina's fate. I'm sure Asseylum wouldn't let anything bad happen to her, but I'd have still liked to see it. Slaine not getting the death escape he wanted was so satisfying (as was seeing him point to his eye for where Inaho should shoot). ~|ET|~
  6. I am interested in your '03 Hewkii and the Tarakava. And which Shadow Kraata do you have? Also, what country are you shipping out from? ~|ET|~
  7. Assuming you mean Peter Capaldi, he's the 14th and the start of a new regeneration cycle. Also, is the link working for anyone else? It seems to be broken, for me at least. I'm well aware of the numbering shenanigans, thank you. (War and Tennant's fake don't influence the numbering, both shown in and out of universe.) He is still absolutely called the Twelfth Doctor. That's a plain and simple fact that's been established since Capaldi was announced as taking the reins. ~|ET|~
  8. Oooh it's going to feature Twelve. That shouldn't come as a surprise since he is the current one, but it still makes me pretty excited to see for sure. ~|ET|~
  9. Wow, yeah... pretty hard choice here without some semifinals to whittle it down a bit. Really tried to keep the theme in mind when doing my own narrowing. These are all undeniably great MOCs, so it still wasn't that easy heh. I think... I'm going with Dume & Nivawk this time. I really would have liked to vote for Matoro, Nui-Jaga, and The Shadowed One as well. They all just look so good. ~|ET|~

    RTX Bound

Sweet! And with the convention apparently now split between three locations, hopefully that helps the space issue.
  11. Artakha. Not too hard of a choice. Maxilos wasn't bad and the Barraki impressed me also by having all six done, but the uniqueness of an Artakha entry (and a rather cool one at that) won me over. ~|ET|~
  12. Okay, that Nuhvok is really sleek. And I rather like the reinterpretations of Strakk and the duo of Nidhiki and Krekka. Plus that's a rather cool take on Krika. Krika, I guess? ~|ET|~
  13. It's a shame more than one (maybe two) of the entries in this poll can't move on. There are so many I like. Just something appealing about the Kahu, Krakua gets the job done well, Maxilos is very impressive, I dig (#5) Brutaka, Gresh looks cool, and the Nui-Jaga is awesome. Really, really tough choice. But as I've mentioned earlier in voting, I do love me some Rahi... And the Nui-Jaga is a fantastic creation for the theme. ~|ET|~
  14. I seem to have a thing this contest for narrowing each poll down to four heh.. But no real stand out here. I think I'll go with Roodaka, but I did rather like Hydraxon too. ~|ET|~
  15. Gotta go for the big baddie eventually. So TSO wins my vote here. ~|ET|~
  16. Y'all need some Yamada-kun in your lives. :< ~|ET|~
  17. Really had to remember the theme here, which unfortunately cuts out some of the other great MOCs. I was blown away at first that somebody had built six MOCs for this contest and succeeded. But keeping the above in mind, feel like Makuta: Master of Shadows absolutely deserves some recognition as well. Those Rahkshi, though... Pretty satisfying to look at. ~|ET|~
  18. Still more cool entries, many fitting the theme great. Takanuva & Ignika, Tracker, Oohnorak, Gorast, Turahk, and Hakann all catching my eye. Oohnorak will be getting my vote. Good luck everyone, though. ~|ET|~
  19. Umbra's pretty cool, as is the Fader Bull.. And both win in the originality category. I think the Rahi nut in me is coming through in this decision, since I'm going with the bull. ~|ET|~
  20. Manas. Manas Manas Manas. Now that's recreating the set in the modern style. Function and everything? How cool is that! (Can't not mention Matoro though. Also an impressive MOC.) ~|ET|~
  21. Wow, lot of cool ones in this poll too! I love Irnakk, Takanuva, the Heat Vision Rahkshi, and the Kohrak. Went with the Heat Vision Rahkshi in the end, but any one of them I would be happy to see move on. ~|ET|~
  22. Really like Jaller, Mata Nui, Nuju Metru, and the Skakdi Fusion here. All are pretty good builds and fit the theme great to me. So it was hard to pick, but doing a unique character that didn't even have a physical form (yet brings to life its description wonderfully) has the Fusion winning. ~|ET|~
  23. Just had to go check what will be airing... Hadn't even crossed my mind that the season was ending so soon heh. Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works season 2Yamada-kun to 7-nin no MajoDigimon Adventure TriSo really not that much. ~|ET|~
  24. I finally completed my set of Toa with Kopaka arriving this past weekend. Almost done with this first wave. The only problem I have with him, now that he is in hand, is that shield. The way he holds it allows for the shield to get in the way pretty easily. Other than that, Kopaka is another very satisfying set. ~|ET|~
  25. Oh yeah, never commented on it... That finale to Rebels' first season was everything I had wanted. Fantastic episode. It's hard to really remember how I felt about season one of Clone Wars, but despite all my qualms, the story Rebels presented still definitely satisfied me in the end. ~|ET|~
