  1. For all your Y2K, apocalypse, prophecy, or butt-kicking days. Did you know that we have members on this site who might have no idea what Y2K is because they weren't alive at the time. That's pretty crazy. Theme from Mission: Impossible-Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. It's the End of the World-R.E.M. Cascade-Homestuck Final Countdown-Europe 4 Minutes-Madonna 'Til the World Ends (Femme Fatale Remix)-Britney Spears Radioactive-Imagine Dragons Heads Will Roll-Yeah Yeah Yeahs End of the World (Oakenfold Remix)-Dave Matthews Band Closing Time-Semisonic The End-The Beatles

If you ever need to talk about medication, I'm always around. It can be kind of weird the first few months where you start to wonder if your body is fighting it. I'm kind of at a weird stage again, but once it starts smoothing out, I guess everything is just awesome. And yes, the first week or so, you're like "so is this even working...?"
  3. Ok. You do not get to tell people what to do with their bodies or what they can or cannot wear (no one has the right to do that), or that a woman has to constantly be on the guard to make sure that men aren't "tempted" by her. That is an absolute load of bull and the blatant sexism here needs to stop now. BZPower has zero tolerance for discrimination of any kind. Entry locked, and it is staying locked.
  4. I started watching it when the first season started because a friend I had during middle school said he thought I would find it funny. Turns out he was right. I'm not really sure how it would be hard to imagine me and/or Pat watching it. Anyways, love the MOC, and I'm glad you finally posted it even though I saw it every day for a while because it would either be in my or your room while you worked on it. It is nice to see it online now! I am glad you used my Nakodile for size comparison. That should totes be a thing now. I really really love the helmet still because it looks so simple but it communicates so much accuracy-wise to Sarge's actual helmet. Shotgun-wise, I am looking at the picture you based it off of, and it looks pretty darn close to how you built it. It's a tiny big gappy, but that is really just the nature of LEGO pieces. Also 10/10, KUTGW, A+ for effort, would buy again, you get a star! and you get a star! and you get a star! and everyone gets a full fledged universe of stars!!! Dirtbag!
  5. It's Tufi. It's puffins. Puffins win every time. In a swarm or just one they will just straight up dominate. They're not a theme. They're a lifestyle. It's like instead of Pickle Inspector being the universe, the universe is secretly made entirely of puffins. You cannot outrun the puffins for they are already there. You are the puffin it is you. Edit: Puffin party.
  6. FTFY? Dante Basco is an active member of the Homestuck community and I want to see him blog about being all the characters. He is the characters and they are him.
  7. I hate Bionicle. I love Lincoln Logs. One time I went to a convention and thought it was going to be a Lincoln Log convention but there was only one Lincoln Log MOC there in the entire huge place, and I was like what the heck! It turned out it was really just a LEGO convention, but it made me really mad. I even joined this site to complain about it and then they ended up making me staff so I'm not really sure what's going on anymore. (JK I really like Bionicle) (but seriously Lincoln Logs)

    Commander Rob

You should make his armor out of more tiny sparkly crowns.
  9. Janus and Kakaru, thank you for saying what I kept forgetting to post about this because I went to work and forgot to ever respond when I got home 10 hours later. I think Beebo would have looked kind of creepy with eyes as well, especially the large O eyes that most angle pieces that I found had. Also, the cones for ears was Pat's idea! I think it works really well, and when I do more mini animals, I'll definitely use cones if they have upright ears.
  10. Andrew, put the liquid metal into your eyes and become a robot. (except I think you already are part robot)
  11. It wasn't bought, unfortunately, but now it means I can take it to conventions! I guess I could still sell it if someone was interested and contacted me about it or doing a custom shoe for them though?
  12. "I decided to make my friend a mini version of Beebo looking at a cup of food". There is no possible way to get eyes on something that scale of MOC. And those angle pieces don't come in a version with a stud on the side to add on to. Thanks for the feedback, though?
  13. Beebo is my friend's cat. My friend wants to steal my cat and leave Beebo in her place, I decided to make my friend a mini version of Beebo looking at a cup of food in a disgruntled manner, based off of this photo of Kim Jong-Beebo looking at things with his BFF FOR LYFE Kim Jong-Il. This was fun to make. Making animals out of LEGO like this is fun. Until you run out of slope pieces.
  14. New MOC! Beebo the cat!!! <--Click for topic
  15. You can buy this shoe in the last days of Creations for Charity 2012! It is super cool and totally rad and I built it and oh man is it awesome it used up like all of my orange pieces. All the proceeds of purchasing a MOC from Creations for Charity goes to purchasing LEGO sets for underprivileged children. Buy it here! Yeah!!!
  16. No because I would not have survived driving to North Dakota and back without Harry Potter on CD.
  17. There are also Lewis x Clark shippers out there. They have über kawaii anime fan arts. There are also Obama x Romney shippers. Their celebrity couple name is "Obamney" and it might be the scariest thing I have seen all day. I can't think of any other "wait what???" ones off the top of my head at the moment.
  18. "This-piece-of-paper's-got-47-words-37-sentences-58-words-we-wanna-know-details-of-the-crime-time-of-the-crime-and-any-other-kind-of-thing-you-gotta-say-pertaining-to-and-about-the-crime-I-want-to-know-arresting-officer's-name-and-any-other-kind-of-thing-you-gotta-say", and talked for forty-five minutes and nobody understood a word that he said, but we had fun filling out the forms and playing with the pencils on the bench there, and I filled out the massacre with the four part harmony.
  19. For every closed ticket, we all get to vote on which staff member has to do a silly stunt.
  20. New MOC! (click the image for topic and direct your comments there, thank you!)
  21. I feel like some people are overreacting to this just because it says it includes Twilight? The course info says it covers all of vampire literature, not just Twilight. Vampire literature started really getting popular in the 1700s, which means there is over 300 years of stuff to cover! The Twilight books (however bad they are, I wouldn't know), are really just a drop in a very long and extensive history of literary work. Just skimming the wikipedia article about vampire literature shows some very interesting information and *gasp* doesn't even mention Twilight beyond two links at the end under examples of juvenile fiction and graphic novels. Also, another thing that is included in vampire literature is Bunnicula, and that was a pretty awesome book.
  22. I prefer to build in a brick up (is that even a thing? DeeVee says it's a thing) style for sculpture, like how they do the sculptures at places like LEGOLand. I would say it's easier, but it's not. It's still a pain in the butt.Or the foot if you step on them. Or the hand when you are trying to pry them apart but you can't because I swear they fuze themselves together.
