Midwest Gaming Classic Convention is coming soon in the next two weeks! I can't wait, and excited to go there! I bet they'll have the old classics like Quake and LEGO Island. Is anyone from BZP going to that?

If I could control the mask. It would be the Miru. It could be awesome, if I want to get massive air when snowboarding. And it can be a life-savior if I were to fall or something.

Up to ch6, I like your interpretation of a slightly alternate universe from the original Bionicle story 2001. It is quite familiar, but a fresh take on the action and quite an enjoyable to read. I like it!

Well, I believe in the Metru Nui days, Ta-Matoran had to massively produce masks for others who needs replacements or constantly breaks them. So they have to set a standard design code, because if someone needs their mask replaced,they don't have to deal with the long wait in order to get another specialty custom mask. If they try to go out of the boundaries and make their own designs, they'll be wasting their time. Seriously, it makes me wonder why the 6 Toa Metru get to have uniquely special custom masks. Probably because they were rich enough to ask for a custom one. Ok, as you can tell, I am making this up! I honestly don't know! I'm just making assumptions!

I believe the matoran just grown used to it. However, the Bara Magna doesn't have "masks" it is infused or something. But they're weird!

I think that Makuta had just decided to change his name to, Teridax, because of naming day. Nah, just joking. If "Teridax's" name would of been introduced sooner, like in 2003 or 2004, then I would be ok with it.

*is confused* Matoro's sacrifice, as you said, was to save Mata Nui's life, not imprison, kill, defeat, or even affect Makuta. Why wouldn't Makuta still be 'frolicking' (sp?? ) around after that? Also, there were different styles to the 2008 and 2009 sets. I presume, though, you meant to imply the body designs of the Toa; agreed there. The Makuta and Matoran were different, though, and the stronger elemental styling in 2009 was new. Well of course I kind of knew that Makuta wouldn't get permanently defeated. But I thought it was disappointing that as soon as Mata Nui rose, Makuta goes trolling having another trick up his sleeve. Yeah, Makuta is frolicking! As for the sets for 2008-2010, yeah that is what I meant that Toa body designs were pretty familiar. Don't get me wrong, I thought the vehicle designs was epic! Some of the larger sets were as challenging of a build, since the rahi back in 01.

My biggest disappointment was the storyline/sets of 2008-2010. I thought Bionicle just dragged on after 2007. Sets: They were a rehash of 2006/2007 set designs. It didn’t have it’s own style compared to 2001/2003, 2004/2005. Storyline: -Disappointing that Makuta still goes frolicking around after Matoro sacrificed himself to save Mata Nui. -The whole robot Mata Nui thing was weird. When I saw the island of Mata Nui just getting obliterated (from Borhok and Mata Nui's face) I had mixed feelings. -Toa Nuva turned to Mistinka L However, with all of this, the Glatorian as a whole separate concept was cool. I guess. You could say that I prefer the Mata Nui and Metru Nui storyline a lot more, and which I do a whole bunch. I felt that the 2006/2007 storyline would be it’s grand finale. But it kept going after that. I still feel that it would be all right if Bionicle simply ended in 2007, and then Bionicle can reboot once again. But focusing on Bara Magna, or any other Magna later on. For the record, I do not dis bionicle. I luv it!

Ha ha! Then what are the Toa resemble to by? Super Dwarves, if they eat a mushroom?

Really? Then I would have to check that out that out then.

My inference would be that the average matoran's lifespan would be the same as a human's lifespan, but 10x. Like what? The average lifespan for a human would be 70 to 80 years? Well, with a matoran, I would assume it would be 80,000 years for them. Who knows, I could be wrong. But that is my lore.

Nice intro teaser. I bet it is going to be something purely epic! Yeah, I would really like to follow your story updates through RSS if possible. But I am not sure how to exactly do that. :/ Hey, same here. I haven't logged on BZP since 2004. So whoa! A lot of things has changed.

The micro-ball and socket pieces are pretty neat. I can imagine being used for a future mini-fig Toa set...or matoran babies.

Bionicle should be brought back where the story takes place thousands of years in the past based from the original storyline, or thousands of years in the future based from the original storyline. Why? Because you won't disappoint the Bionicle Oldies (like me ), and you won't make the the Bionicle Newbies confused. If so happen the storyline mentions something from the original Bionicle storyline, it would be a stuttle easter egg reference or something. As for the sets, I would like to have the new, but old Bionicle designs, like example from the Rahi 01 sets. Just because they have a lot more gear-functioned interactivity, including complicated builds compared to the 06+ sets. I felt after Bionicle 05, the Bionicle sets ended up being its own thing, than a branch off of Technic. Yes, I was a throwbots/roboriders fan back then.

Well currently my LEGO collection is kept safe in the moment in storage bins. I rarely have any time to play with my collection anymore due to college. But I do every so often build at least 1 creation in the summer and holidays.

For MOCing pieces, of course the Toa Mata. But storyline/look-wise, it would be the Toa Nuva. They look more heroic and "tuff."
