Wow; life's been so much better since last week. Okay, to kill of my previous Blog Entry, I had a sudden epiphany the night of posting it that ended my battle once and for all. Hopefully my two halves can balance finally. Next, Dawn had surgery today and has officially been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Please keep her in your thoughts as she goes through these few months of chemotherapy. Also, I finally stopped slacking and took my permit test and passed! Seriously though, I should've taken it back in April. :| In addition, I'm ordering a new book for my Library of Egyptological Studies, the well-known The Egyptian Book of the Dead: The Papyrus of Ani in the British Museum by Sir E.A. Wallis Budge. It's pretty cheap; $6.25 + $3.99 S&H. Hopefully I'll get it soon. Finally, it's OGT Week. I hate hate hate it. It's mean. ;_; And that finishes it. Wow. Just wow. Okay, a few things to intro with: First off, I just found out earlier yesterday that one of my friends has been diagnosed with a form of cancer called Hodgkin's. It's really scary for all of us since she's only 17 and already has these complications. I myself had a variety of skin cancer when I was younger and remember how scary that was, but I can't imagine what she feels right now. I know that she starts her chemo on Friday and I'm gonna try to be there for her. Second, I'm in the stages of my spiritual development where I'm self-analyzing my strengths and weaknesses. I know (for my weaknesses) that I'm pretty narcissistic, I tend to lie a lot for no reason, I'm a bit too apathetic in a sense, and just... gahh. >_< I know that deep down in the core of my being, a war is raging, one between the darker, earthly indulgences of life versus the part of me that craves knowledge, enlightenment... and the darker side is winning. A forced awakening is impossible. I need to learn from myself in that retrospect and wait patiently. I feel as if things are falling apart around me, when in reality I'm letting myself unravel. So many past wrongs to be righted. I need to weed before I can plant. Metaphors get monotonous after a while. This is a seemingly dark entry, but it really isn't. I'm just trying to communicate how my personal growth is doing and all of the apparent "baggage" that tends to follow on its' heels. I'm gonna add some armor to the shins as well as the forearms once I get the actual pieces so as not to come up with one that clashes with the limbs. Oh, and I don't think I said this earlier but his Kanohi is a placeholder, too. I hope to paint one myself like I have in some other previous MOCs. This is Toa Tirannwn, the Toa Gielinor of Energy. Not totally set in stone in terms of thigh and bicep armoring, but I'm pretty set on the torso. ...Whew. Well, to sum this up, I'm taking an extended leave from BZP. And no, I don't hope for this to turn out like The Last Time. I mean it. Why? Well, there are multiple reasons for this. The biggest, primary concern is that my school has been failing. I'm not talking B's and C's, I mean I've begun to get D's and even managed an F. BZP is great, but it's really become just too... time consuming. I really, really need to get priorities straight. X_X Second, I'm actually making progress on developing my spiritual life and tuning in to things around me I might've overlooked. Things are becoming clearer and more distorted at the same time, and I need to make more time if I'm to make any more steps in this development. I'm remembering things... and learning from them. Also, I need to write. If you haven't noticed already, I've posted Chapter Three of my Epic, and that took a while to hammer out. Now, I don't plan on completely alienating myself from the internet/BZP/IM services. I'm just going to limit my time on them, and use my time for more productive endeavors.
