  1. You'll definitely need a Bricklink account. Beyond that I don't know the answers. I'd guess PayPal and credit cards will be accepted, and the set will definitely not be available forever, but this isn't going to be a one-day or one-week thing.
  2. A quick search does not seem to turn up a maximum size for a post as there once was. There must be some limit on the actual database, but I would be surprised if it wasn't tens or hundreds of megabytes, which would be very difficult to reach with just text. As BULiK said, the topic doesn't care how long each post is, as long as each post is under its maximum length. The worst case I can imagine is that you try to make a post and it gives you an error, at which point you could just trim it back until it fits and then make a second post later.
  3. No need to make a topic about this.
  4. Well that was a mess. We had the opportunity tonight to interview the contestants of LEGO Masters Season 2, which was supposed to run from 5-7 PM. Instead it ran until 8:30 PM. So apologies for the late start to the stream. Then we had some annoying technical issues affecting the audio and chat overlay, unfortunately. But we did make it through all three Battle Arena modes and use all of the power-ups, so three achievements were unlocked! And to be clear, it was awesome to talk to the LEGO Masters folks, and you'll certainly see content from that on our front page over the next week or more. It was just unfortunate that it ran into our stream.
  5. That definitely makes sense. Prior to this week's stream, I slightly reorganized my Dimensions sets so they were more easily accessible, and had already put the level packs in the front, since playing those first seemed logical. As far as Superman and Aquaman go, I really only had them out so my little display wouldn't seem so empty, but have their powers handy ended up helping. Just a happy coincidence!
  6. Fun fact: I was interviewed for this story but I guess they didn't like what I had to say. I'm pretty sure I have a print copy of it somewhere. Also, BZPower wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the two people mentioned here: Christian and Mike ran fan sites that eventually merged to become Kanohi Power, which merged with BZCommunity to become BZPower!
  7. Yeah, I definitely think that's where I'll start when I play again in a week and a half. Seems like it should be straightforward. Simpsons sounds like a plan, and I can show off the WIP of the display I've made for the Dimensions figures and vehicles. It's very basic at the moment, but there are plenty of characters and levels to check out so I'll be able to update it over time.

  9. I started looking at the Ninjago achievement list and saw all the dojos, so it looks like that will be where I head after the 2x multiplier. I'll try to do some more research into it over the weekend. I'm currently working my way through Season 12 of the show, so I think I'll be good on recognizing the characters. I'm looking forward to moving on to a new title!
  10. I certainly get what you're saying, but this is hardly the first time someone has resubmitted a model, or a very similar one, and gotten it to 10k again. I don't know for sure, but I'd guess it has something to do with the reasons for rejection. If it's a problem with the construction or size, then changing that could help it a second time. If it's a problem with the IP, well those things can change over time. For example if Mega has a license to an IP when an Ideas project is first submitted, which causes it to be rejected, then their license expires, submitting the project again could result in success the second time. I think the Ideas team is trying to be as flexible as they can be.
  11. Yes, this was quite the revelation! Speaking of online games, I'd also like to hear an episode about My LEGO Network, since that was quite the popular thing for a while back in the day.
  12. From my experience, the TTV folks are just as passionate about Bionicle and the fans as anyone is. In my opinion they took what they thought was a good idea and got themselves caught between competing groups of fans - it's going to be impossible to please everyone in this sort of situation.
  13. All good information! Next time we'll have to go to a new world and focus on amassing studs so I can purchase it. Out of curiosity, do you know of any lists of the characters and their abilities? It would be good to have that handy so I can come up with a collection of figs to focus on unboxing to be able to access all the areas and gold bricks and such.
  14. You could certainly share a link to it here!
  15. You make a very strong case there! I'll have to see about digging up those fun packs.

  17. Definitely good to know - I'll try to avoid that foil next week!
  18. I think @Nukaya might be able to provide some insight from her time working at LEGOLand.
  19. I never specifically try to bypass tasks, but sometimes I just end up flying around and bypassing them before I see your comments in the chat. I definitely don't want to break things and have to replay the level if I can avoid it, haha. Yep, I'm tracking that one and the Ma and Pa Bad Cop ones as being the specific level ones I need to do, plus the dance minigames. Hopefully I do better at the next dance game!
  20. That's a good point! I'll dig in through the LAN and see if I can dig up any insight. Some things, like Sonic and VIDYO, clearly weren't planned initially and have been added as they went along. Maybe it's proving popular enough to become more of a continuing podcast.
  21. It doesn't look like I got this achievement, so I guess it needs to be one of the main story levels.

  23. You weren't the only one who voted, but you were the winner! Since there was no consensus among the voters and you won, we'll be going with your suggestion. I may see if I can pull out my Doc Brown pack to get a little more BTTF fun going next week!
  24. Just a note, I have to have some electric work done at my house on Tuesday. It had better be done by 7:30, but there's theoretically a chance that it could impact the strea,.
