A few years on overtime, basic Deathmatch is now rearing its head in my game. Game modes are being implemented. XD

As of today, I have been a member of this site for 9 years. In just a short while, I'm going to hit 5000 posts. Time flies.

Bah, exam writing. Reminds me of how much more efficient I am when I'm doing everything I'm *not* supposed to do.
-
BIONICLE Fighter version 12.5 is now available. Adds Kanohi Olmak, Disk Launchers, Lightstone Rifles, health refills and female Toa sprites.
-
BZPRPG: Hive Assault launching very soon. Jeez, I'm nervous.
-
BZPRPG: Makuta forces are being rallied against the ILS. Should be interesting. Hopefully the large scale of this won't make everything a clusterbeep.
-
BZPRPG: The battle for Pala-Koro begins! Island Liberation Front meets Followers of Makuta in what will likely be a giant PvP battle

Finally got around to upadting my game topic after the crash. Version 14.0b is now available from BZP too.

For anyone interesting my game: Current plans are to pop out a few more powers to "fill in the blanks", then go for the revisions to things such as melee combat and overall gameplay. Air primary and Water secondary are done, ATM.
-
Game progress: Revised light beam to look more spiffy and be more effective. Testing item system changes.
-
Game update news: I believe I have fixed bots getting stuck in clusters all the time.
-
Game update: Disk Launcher finished for now. Female Toa sprites implemented. New demo release scheduled for this weekend.
-
Game update: Olmak is pretty much finished for the time being. Disk Launcher in the works.

GameMaker: Studio, Standard edition is now FREE, at least for a limited time. It is the program I use, and it is wonderful. If you feel like making fangames or whatever, do yourself a favor and save $50 by downloading it now rather than later.
-
GameMaker:Studio has some new and improved networking functions compared to previous builds. I have ditched DLLs for the time being and I'm now testing this functionality with BIONICLE Fighter in mind. Stay tuned.

Well, the program is very similar to the previous versions, but with some functions removed (nothing I'll miss) and others added. Quite a lot of good things have been added, in fact. More proper networking is one of the latest, and in the near future there will be shader support. If you don't know what a shader is, it's essentially a way of applying fancy graphical effects (such as water/invisibility distortion) without being overly heavy in terms of processing power. It's awe...

GameMaker:Studio, the program I use to make my games, is now FREE until March 2nd. Download the trial version and fill in a form to get a permanent license for Standard Edition.

Haven't thought of it, but since you mention it... yes, it could very well be. Or my alternative form. Whatever you find suiting.
