    Inception

    Movie of the year.
     
    All years.
     
    It's currently #3 on IMDb's top 250 movies list. I understand it will probably go down, but that's pretty big.
     
    But seriously, go see it. I loved it. The only problem I had was (spoilers because I don't want to spoil ANYTHING):

I understand it could be something with limbo but I didn't think it worked that way. And the ending. Really? I like how it is currently but I feel it wouldn't have as much controversy if the last couple seconds were done differently.
     
    Also went to that record store nearby me, and it was alright. They had a lot more vinyl and posters etc than the one I saw in Canadialand, but there were less lesser-known band CDs. I ended up buying Teen Dream by Beach House. I almost went with Broken Social Scene's Forgiveness Rock Record, but I figure I would be able to find that again a bit more easily.

    I went on a cruise.
     
    At one of the excursions I found a pretty bro CD store and decided I'm gonna start collecting CDs. There is just so much about actually having the CDs instead of just the digital music that is so special. Anyways I only had $20 so I bought Broken Bells' s/t and Arcade Fire's Funeral. They had a lot of CDs I wanted but I couldn't buy and it made me sad.
     
    But yeah it was such a cool store. I wish I had one where I live.
     
    Also I like Broken Social Scene's newest album. A couple songs on it are awesome, but a couple are just eh.

    For some reason I thought going to the Verizon store would allow me to get a back ordered phone, but it did not. The sales man gloated about it to me and showed all the awesome things it could do to my mom and now she is pretty excited about it. I probably won't get the phone until the end of the month, but I hope that all the people that change their preorders to the Droid X will allow me to get it earlier.
     
    And I got my wisdom teeth out and boy does that hurt. I can barely swallow, and all I want to eat is hard crunchy stuff I can't have.
     
    Like pizza and burgers and ribs :'(

    Droid Incredible

    A bit back, my mom suddenly decide my family would receive Middle School graduation gifts, and so, my sister got a new iPod Touch. Very suddenly.
     
    So what did I get? Nothing but the promise that IF the iPhone came to Verizon, I would get it. But I mean it never will for a good year at least, and if it does, I probably would have gotten it anyway with my own upgrade. Not gonna lie I felt pretty cheaped.
     
    Today though, I found out my sisters phone is sputtering dead after her friend pushed her into the pool. So now we need another phone for her. Thankfully we had an NE2 update to use but since my sister just got her new Touch, my mom decide I would get the update on the phone, and she would get my old phone. And of course because this is Verizon, almost every good phone needs a data plan. So it was decided I could get a more expensive smart phone as my belated graduation gift. So it is looking like I will be getting the Droid Incredible soon, maybe even tomorrow. eeeeeeee :3
     
    I'm very much looking forward to see what Android has to offer. And of course just getting a new phone. eeeeeeeeeee

    A Real Life Update

    Alright, this might get lengthy. I realized I haven't updated this in a while, because of most of what I am about to describe.
     
    Firstly, we finally got everyone in my little group of friends to get AIM, so now we have some baller group chats almost every night. That feels good man.
     
    So yeah my little group of friends have grow tighter and tighter and now we are always awesomeface. It's nice to have friends you can rely on to do almost anything. So yeah we've been doing a lot of stuff recently, and since none of us can drive, we walk everywhere. It feels really good when you realized you walked 15 miles in one weekend when you never set out to do that or anything.
    But we've started to run out of ideas. I think this World Cup will give us something to plan for, but we need something else and we can't find it.
     
    Also Neutral's escape the room games are amazing. Vision, the hardest one, is by far the best. The others are more codes, this one just flows. I found it easier than the other ones oddly enough. So yeah play dem games.
     
    And uh, you probably heard a lot about this girl, Sarah, from before. Yeah she's done away with. She started really dating that other bro and so my group realized how shallow she is (not just the dating other bro thing, much more (I'm not THAT shallow)) so we've kinda shunned both of those two people away. Certainly feels good for me, except for that the three of us are in the same instrument section.... that's kinda awkward, but at least I focus on my instrument now.
     
    So yeah I had a really depressed period of time. That sucked.
     
    But now, I've rejuvenated. And I would say better than ever. I am getting good grades, and social life is good, and I've been playing Windwaker, Galaxy, and MW2 a lot recently. Oh and music is just as awesome, if not better. Foxy Shazam <3
     
    The main point of this update probably is this though, and if you want to skip messy relationship stufffs, skip this:
    So I used to adore this girl for the longest of times. Not really adore, but she always interested me and I always felt we matched quite a bit. I don't think I even told Laka about this. So yeah, I was never really around her though, not even in the same class, and that combined with my shy personality just would never make it happen.
    But then my French teacher sat us next to each other. Nothing really started at first, but then this week she just started talking to me a lot more. I guess you could call some of it flirting.... huuuurrrrr.... At first I was pretty caught off guard so I was kinda awkward with it, but she continued, and now its just like we finally made that connection to each other. Awesomely enough some of my favorite bands are hers too and things like that have just clicked. Today she recommended The Morning Benders older stuff, which I didn't have before, and I like it, so yep haha.
     
    the problem is she has a boyfriend lolololol
     
    So I don't really understand her logic. They are like the cutest thing ever, and it doesn't look like they would break up anytime soon..... He is however graduating this year, but I mean those relationships work sometimes. I dunno, but she flirts with me a lot, and to me, I never really saw her as a shallow girl. And yeah I definitely don't want to be played again, so I'll be looking out.
     
    But she's still pretty awesome, and I'm happy right now.

    FINALLY got Windwaker from my friend so I started that, and I must say I ABHOR sneaking around that fortress.

    The Kings Challenge

    I must say I had a good weekend, other that the fun-filled homework day I had today lulz
     
    friday we decided after school to make a movie (about a foursquare champion) but then sarah invited her and her friends, and of course adding girls to a bro event is bad, so it didn't really work out. we tried playing ninesquare, but sarah was the only one that wanted to even move at all. typical girls. it started to rain and sarah invited us all over, but we kinda trolled everyone out when we got there. felt bad, but no one likes them. hah then as soon as the rain stopped, we went out to play foursquare again, but with sarah's new boyfriend (already a bro) but we were all hungry and tired so it wasn't bro time. then he kicked the ball onto the roof and now we can't play foursquare OR ninesquare
     
    so we all agreed that friday never happened because none of us enjoyed it. and we all realized how shallow sarah is. lul
     
    then SATURDAY
     
    the kings challenge
     
    things you will need
    -a supermarket
    -a set amount of money
    -friends (optional really, but its so much more fun lul)
     
    the point of the challenge is to use the set amount of money to buy a satisfying meal from a supermarket. my friends and I used $5 and a Kings, and I had a nice bagel with chicken on it. it was a bit dry, but that is what the Arizona Iced Tea was for. I even had 55 cents left. =O
     
    of course some things are just over proportioned and overpriced, so make deals with your friends. share some moolahs and buy together, it works much better. I did that for the chicken, which was actually really good for only costing $4.
     
    we tossed around a frisbee and walked everywhere looking to buy a foursquare ball, but to no avail. then we saw iron man 2, which we all agreed was actiony and awesome, but the plot made no sense. while we were walking home, matt (sarah's boyfriend) drives by and stops for us.... well kinda.... we still had to run along and hop into the car, but it was all good. then we go to where he was going and it was just an awkward bro get together. we leave shortly lol

    jokingly I listened to the entire Fame Monster album. the other songs that aren't overplayed on the radio are different. it is so weird. they are okay songs, but they aren't like the radio hits much at all, and this difference is so weird.
     
    i've been obsessed with her recently, why is she so awesome?

    It's cool, but I still think I prefer COD
     
    The load outs are all the same, despite the ability, and I absolutely loath the Assault Rifle, so I suck if I don't find a DMR. The Assault Rifle is way too under powered.
     
    I personally dislike the bloom effect, albeit it is realistic. I just find that although weapons like the Magnum are better, the bloom just ruins all accuracy, and they are really worse.
     
    That Focus Rifle is amazingawesomecool, but I still can't find the Grenade Lawnchair. :/

    Feels Bad Man

    I got some bad grades this (last?) marking period, and I'm not happy about that. I don't really think there was much I could have done, it was just petty mistakes like forgetting to do some assignments.
     
    So first of all I'm not happy about that at all.
     
    Because of the grades my mom is taking away my Xbox entirely as she thinks it is causing all the problems. >>
     
    The Reach Beta comes out next week, and wow, no Xbox.
     
    The internet to my computer already shuts off at 11 PM (I almost said 23 PM O_O)
     
    I left my iPod charger at my dad's house, so no iPoding after internet goes out.
     
    I forgot to tell my mom about AP tests so she never reminded me about them, so I never signed up for them. That means my entire BC Calculus course is pretty much worth nothing.
     
    I have SAT2's this weekend, and I haven't had the time to study yet.
     
    Sarah's been weird lately, but I think thats a lot better than I think it is. waaahtlol
     
    And of course with all this I've just been acting depressed and stuff in school, and it really isn't fun.

    Despite all this, it seems this is the season for music. I'm enjoying the new Radio Dept. album, along with the Delorean album. I've also started listening to Sun Airway again, and it looks like they have some new stuff, which I'm excited to listen to. And of course, the xx are as amazing as always, and The Morning Benders too.

    Music Trip

    It was only 3 days long, but the first day, Thursday, we got down at 19ish and on Saturday, we got home at 21 o'clock. Sooo short
     
    Yes, I've started using 24 hours clocks. Dunno why.
     
    Dinner Cruise/Dance was sooo much better than usual. Same company, but the boat and food was so much better. The dance music was eh, but they played Skanky Leg and the entire dance was pretty good. bahah
     
    My room was fun, but I would have rather stayed with my friends in the grade below who brought a Wii and Brawl. lol
     
    Sarah was on my bus and we planned to sit together and did for most of it, but there were times where she had to sit with her shunned friend bahah
     
    Bose headphones cancel obnoxious busmates so well. :3
     
    Gah annoying busmates annoyed me so much.
     
    I regret doing some things, or rather, not doing some things.
     
    Cheesesteakes are so amazing if you get them from the right place.
     
    We went to this concert and it was hilarious bluegrass music. Me and my friends obsessed over one guy.
     
    Franklin Institute led to many funny hands on activities.
     
    Liberty Bell was super boring.
     
    Someone gave me the camera for the year book for the Junior grade. We made videos and used for the entirely wrong purpose bahah.
     
    Overall it was very eh. There were good points, but most of it was boring. I should have hung out with other people, but busmates annoyed me, so I was all complainy and annoyed.
