  1. I demand my mangosteen with one AK-47 and 7.62x39mm rounds. Lots of them. But regardless, congrats on 300! I'm amazed, however, that you didn't make a THIS IS SPARTA joke. Of course, now that I mention it, I'm sure face palms will abound :P But still, kind of interesting to see Mr. Razor Vahi back for an appearance. Of course, he messed everything up, but ah well.Keep it up! Everything looks great =Psig.png

That guy at the end looks awesome. I forget its name, but it is still really cool. I can't wait to see the possible fight scene!Glad we got character introductions. I didn't know that the blue one was a Turaga until this. Also, I notice there is some new armor on Vohon, which looks great. And then me, sprawled by the side of the road. :PGreat comic as always, and I am very excited to see more!sig.png

  2. Quite frankly I'm amazed this discussion has remained at least partially civil for as long as it has. I don't remember previous threads about this topic fairing quite so well. But yeah. We must again take our time to remind ourselves that we're talking about fanwork based on a discontinued line of children's construction toys. No need to be so serious everybody.

It is civil, but I swear one day someone is gonna snap at that whole "discontinued line of children's construction toys" thing. I need not remind anyone, a lot of the people here are adults. Also, as a friend mentioned elsewhere, it'd be fun to see roles reversed. Sprite comic makers make hand drawn comics, and visa versa. And I agree with Venom.sig.png
  3. I prefer sprite comics myself, but love to see really well done hand drawn comics. I do sprite comics cause it's what I am good at, and I don't have a scanner for anything hand drawn.sig.pngediteljay.png: Little unsure, but wouldn't this be better as a poll?

  4. Thanks to a friend, I'm going with Samus as well ;-;Well, I've read this comics for a little bit now, and they are in fact really good! I still LOVE the uniqueness of having an ask comic series. Sure, I may not be a fan of the pink pony (death to all that is pink ), but these are still very funny! I'll be back to read more soon!(also, that was awesome with the history of the chopsticks. Dunno if it's true, bit I hope so cause that's neat ya put it in there!)sig.png

WOOT! The Matoran who resembles me with the minor speaking role! =D Loved this comic as well, and I'm eager to see the outcome of his sword. Also, I may or may not wish to tell him anything he wants depending on how many mangosteen he has at one time.Keep it up!sig.png

Very happy that the plot is starting to thicken! Not fond of Metahk much anymore, but ah well. Also, how did they get Toa stones in the first place? Keep it up, eager for more!sig.png

  5. Absolutely amazing series, Venom. I REALLY wish people would divert their attention from daily nonsense such as Gavla's comics and look at this. This was such a well written story and the ending was great. I didn't totally get it until the end, and it had be guessing the whole way through. I am really impressed at what you did here. I feel that you can do so much with this in the future. Also, great job tying it in with LoMN.Great job, Ven. Keep it up, and I hope to see more.sig.png

  6. Oh my, this is just beautiful.Swert has been telling me a bit about this, and I followed a little of it's progress on Brickshelf, but seeing it 100% complete is just amazing. I love how detailed you guys went with this, so far as to put in trees for the lower half, and that amazing looking Kini-Nui. Although, what is that other little tan structure? For the life of me I can't figure out what it is.Very quickly, that Ta-Koro/Wahi is STUNNING. I love how you guys put in a KauKau and Ta-Koro. That's just amazing.Great job, guys. I am certain that pictures don't do this as much justice as seeing it in real life would. Just curious, but would this be showing up at any events? Possibly a couple of Brickcons?Again, great job. I thank you for making this wonderful piece, as it is (in my eyes) a great piece of art.sig.png

  7. I'd much rather have a Lego/Bionicle focused forum then an HF/Lego focus, as that wouldn't do anyone any good.

That doesn't make any sense. Having a forum devoted solely to a dead and gone toyline with a story that has disintegrated and has little interesting mystery left to keep conversation and news moving does people a lot less good than a HF/Lego focus that actually has something to discuss on a daily basis.People seem to forget that a LEGO site with a constraction figure slant still includes BIONICLE disucssion.
Sure, that is true, and I am sure I can hunt down a bunch of other forums/fan bases of which have managed to discuss any number of subjects for a period of time longer than Bionicle has been around, one of which is Earthbound. While it's true that you can get more discussion/news daily out of Hero Factory and other Lego themes, I think that a lot of the BZPopulace may like to see just a little bit of BZP's roots sticking around. And that would more than likely be out of dedication. Not saying that it would be preferred that BZP grasp the dead/dying straws of Bionicle's "passing", just thinking that BZP would seem a little more unique sticking even slightly to it's roots.
Where did this idea, that BZP is "losing it's roots" or ignoring BIONICLE come from? We just added Hapori Tohu back into the site, to purposefully maintain a visual homage to our roots. We started as a BIONICLE site, we are now so much more, but we are all aware that we started as, and owe ourselves to, that role as the world's largest BIONICLE and LEGO community. None of us have any desire to pretend that BIONICLE never happened or outlaw its discussion or ignore our roots. If there were real BIONICLE stories to be put on the front page, we'd put them there. There's not.
I am merely speaking within the context of the topic's subject. I didn't see anywhere in my posts where I said "BZP is currently a titanic forum! Get to the floatation devices!" BZP is fine right now, IMO, so nothin' to worry about.sig.png

  9. The gold and silver colored Aki and Rua are canon. The others were most likely based off of he combiners themselves. It is unknown what color other Kaita masks would be, as there are no images of any other than Akakmai and Wairuha.Edit: @Eljay: I don't think it's been confirmed that that coloration was canon. There are a number of instances where the colorer of the comics made mistakes.

They were never at any other point shown in the story - at least, not to the point we knew the mask color - other than the comics. I understand he was in the book, but it never said anything about a "silver mask" on Wairuha. Honestly, I think it's safe to say his mask was green, and as such the other Kaita's would also have normal mask colors. Also keep in mind that the Toa Mata Kaita's mask were metallic due to the fact they wore Golden Kanohi.sig.png

Great comic, as always! Loved that bit at the end where Vohon falls down. I'm also not at all surprised that Metahk chopped his fingers off, although I think it was needed after what Mr. Shadow Matoran did.Keep it up, Maph - These are some of the finest comics here.sig.png

  10. This is by far your best work Venom. The graphics are just stunning, and the story so far has me very eager for more. I really love how you've managed to play off of the story of Metru-Nui without it seeming forced. Lhikan's involvement in this seems somewhat strange to me personally, but it's not that big a deal. I really wish more people would recognize this after all the hard work you put in to it. Keep it up, and I am eager to see more!sig.png

  11. I honestly don't think that it's so likely he wears a Pakari. A branch? Not a very difficult task for a bio-mechanical being. Not to mention, people in real life give other people boosts all the time, something of which also is not a difficult task for a bio-mechanical being. I think it's just that he's a Toa.sig.png
