Paying for a Porcelain Village? That is one of the more useless tradeoffs I've heard in a while. (The most previous trade being a brownie for a bookmark) I mean, while I'm sure it'll look nice, I'd much rather go to Comic Con. Some day, perhaps, I'll attend. Considering I live in the midwest, and even when I do go out to the west coast to visit my Dad, I'm still a day's worth away from the event. A couple years ago though, he took my brother and I to San Diego, the irony being that Comic Con didn't happen until a couple days after we already had plane tickets to leave. So close...and yet so far. You used the words "might not" though, which makes you sound like you're staying somewhat optimistic on the idea. Its still a few months away, so you never know what could happen... -Ced

You went to Disneyland? That must've been...enjoyable? I can't recall the time I went, it was too many years ago. Although, you say your last visit was in December. I take it you live in the area? Moving on, I couldn't help but feel somewhat sympathetic with the fact that you now have braces. That part of my life spanned from 2002 - 2004, and it wasn't very fun. Although, the end result is worth it. -Ced

I saw that contest in my Lego Magazine too and thought about entering something of my own. Considering you're two years older than me, that probably comes with more artistic experience, because I can draw stuff, just not Bionicle stuff. I drew Vakama wearing the Kanohi Vahi one time, but that's all. Anyway, good luck with your entry! -Ced

Things always seem to break when we need them the most, huh? And then when we don't need them everything is ok. I have to agree with you that Matoran is frequently used around the forums, and I have been known to make Bionicle comparisons before like yours. I suppose when something is easy to relate to, it just happens. By the by, did your neighbor let you use their scanner? -Ced

I'm sorry, the somewhat lengthy comment I left wasn't really so much for you, as it was for members who are anti-staff. From what I read of your entry, you're quite the opposite. Basically, you were trying to inform BZPers about being respectful (as your response stated) and become more accepting with the staff. I agree with your ideals, and I thought I would add a few of my own comments not really pointed in your direction, but for any BZPers who feel negatively about staff members here. -Ced

Wow. After going from a transition of being really busy to having a lot less to do, I'd probably have a lot of energy myself. Sorry to hear you're not a Worthy Advisor anymore. From your comment about using your neighbor's scanner, I take it you're an artist here on BZP? I don't visit the Artwork forum, so I wouldn't know. As for the aliens thing, you're right, we don't need it. I like the connection between that and Keetongu though. -Ced

That was quite an interestingly detailed entry. While I myself am not a Staff Member, I can understand many of the subjects you were hitting. Staff Members make newer and lower ranking ones seem less important. In a sense, the Staff members are like Vahki. They're enforcing the rules and doing their jobs. The Admins are more like Turaga Dume to that relation. They see the staff as necessary to maintain order throughout the forums. Everyone else is like a Matoran. Not every Matoran in Metru Nui saw the Vahki as helpful. Some saw them as annoying (Takua) and others hoped they wouldn't ruin projects they had going. The relation there is how BZP members see the staff as annoying (Due to Proto Loss / Sig + Avatar removal / Post Count Subtraction / a lot of other things) and how members are probably fretting in theirt minds that their topic won't be closed. As I stated earlier, the Staff members are like Vahki, order enforcers just doing their job. The problem is that throughout history, sentient beings have had a problem dealing with authority. When these people are punished for their actions, they may find it unfair or cruel. If a staff member thinks punishment is necessary, there's a high chance it is. The fact is, they understand where we stand, because it was where they once were too. They may not always be able to have their ideals understood (Matoran couldn't understand Vahki after all) but when we think about it for a while, they're doing the right thing, and that's all we can expect from them. The kindness they give through all of the animosity other members may feel surpasses their duties alone. They help out with contests and such, even though they don't have to. Don't hate the staff members, learn from what they can teach. -Ced

The Squid wwas much scarier than its set form. The teeth were sharper, and spaced out like a vampyric nightmare. But then, the Squids are vampyric, so its fitting. Its gums also protruded from its lips, and it made the squid look like it was desperate to take a chunk out anything it could! -Ced

I made a halfway decent attempt to build Jovan before the instructions were available. Naturally, it wasn't too great. These pictures you have of Jovan make him look much better than mine and the poses are pretty cool too. -Ced

Nice review Tahulo. If you were a staff member, I'm sure you'd do well at reviewing sets here as well. I've never seen such a crate-thing before. Maybe I haven't been paying attention? Anyway, I'll give the review a 9 out of 10 and start hunting for one myself. -Ced
