  1. What I would be interested in is more vehicles. If not, I would be interested in animal mounts. I'd like to see Tahu on a horse-like set looking awesome. -Tomdroidser
  2. I don't know if you think of this, but, from the way I see it, this MOC looks more like a pirate to me. The only thing missing is a pirate hat/bandana. Out of curiosity, how tall is it? -Tomdroidser
  3. Now that you say it, I was thinking that my mask suggestion works like Inspector Gadget, but instead of an absurd amount of gadgets it would have, as I described in my mask description, things you can imagine a race car pit crew using. -Tomdroidser Edit: Now I'm thinking more like a sort of R2-D2 would work better.
  4. I wonder if someone would repaint this as Boba. -Tomdroidser
  5. I so want both. I want Grevious for Grevious and Kenobi for cape. -Tomdroidser
  6. After so long since my last mask suggestion post, I just thought of a new one. Mask of Maintanance Allows the user's body to become a living toolbox. While in use, the mask can function as a sort of automated pit crew AI that can repair the mechanical parts of the user/object/others, upgrade preexisting parts, or can replace organic parts with mechanical parts. I think this description is not complete, so I'll probably update this post at a later time. -Tomdroidser
  7. Awesome. He's not Jay Garrik or Kid Flash, but this will do. I feel indifferent about the lightning bolt. Since you've done this, can you make a Professor Zoom? -Tomdroidser
  8. A Mask of Too Many Masks seem both overpowered and redundant. I find this mask to be a bit too simple.- -Tomdroidser
  9. I thought the original Rahkshi were thin, lanky, and meant to hunt from the shadows. Seeing remakes of them being more muscular is an interesting look. The only thing that bothers me is the three-segmented legs, but that's just me. -Tomdroidser
  10. This might not seem obvious, but some of the topic links on the entry list don't link to the entry topics. -Tomdroidser
  11. Did some research and, apparently, there aren't much dark red pieces for the CCBS. I added the Iron Man chest to give him a "heartlight." Nothing I could do about the mask, but in V2 I'll alter him based on comments from this topic. As a side note, the Zamor launcer cover is actually a small bird MOC that I just made for fun. I only put it there so the Zamor spheres don't escape. -Tomdroidser
  12. Interesting interinterpretation. Here's what I like: Stud gattler Original Kanohi Chains Colors that says he's made to swim in muddy water What gives me uncertain feeling: Height Can't really see hands, but that might just be me Parts exposed on the back, but that's a common problem -Tomdroidser
  13. I wonder if a constraction figure could ride the bike. -Tomdroidser
  14. Yes! We now have another caped constraction set in Vader! So looking forward to obtaining him when he's released. -Tomdroidser
  15. As of this post, we apparently have on the entry list: Two 2001 entries Three 2002 entries Six 2003 entries Three 2004 entries Seven 2005 entries Seven 2006 entries Two 2007 entries Four 2008 entries Five 2009 entries Two 2010 entries And three entries I can't classify because of no actual original set (Toa Helryx: Gen 2), was based on a CGI model (Mata Nui), or I couldn't tell what it was originally based on (Teridax 2.0) although I have a suspicion it was based on Ultimate Dume. This means all G1 years are covered! -Tomdroidser
  16. Appreciate feedback. Let's look at the latest comments and critisism. The sword and Zamor launcher are accesssories. I don't expect people to judge based on the weapons they are armed with, although they probably will. My intent was on honoring the old set while using newer parts. I find it ironic that, while you think the knees down look like a different character, they are actually almost the same lower legs as the original Jaller Inika. Same goes for the head. Can't have Inika without the wierd head and mask. I do recognize that the lower legs and feet are borrowed directly from Toa Inika Jaller. But that's what bothers me. You have completely re-imagined the colors and design of the arms and torso, but left the lower legs and feet more or less unchanged. The "new section" and the "old section" do not feel like they belong together on the same figure. I think the model could have done with smoother transitions between the old and the new. Perhaps if you had designed the new sections of the figure to use more Dark Red instead of so much Bright Red, they wouldn't clash so much with the old sections. It goes to show that you can't have everything you want and please everyone. I'll take your suggestions and incoperate it into a V2 model designed after the contest. -Tomdroidser
  17. I like this Turaga Dume. Brings back fond memories of my Dume, except I lost his head. I like the Hordika chestplate and the original mask. -Tomdroidser
  18. So bored, so I think I'll reply to the following. My intent was on honoring the old set while using newer parts. I find it ironic that, while you think the knees down look like a different character, they are actually almost the same lower legs as the original Jaller Inika. Same goes for the head. Can't have Inika without the wierd head and mask. Hm... Perhaps the lighting of the photo is what makes it not stand out? That or the bright red armour piece on top might make it look like it is blending in. To make it stand out more in the photos I'd recommend (if you have time) a small light box, or other contraption. Even if you just put some white paper into a cardboard box and shine a light over the top that may help, or possibly even just an artificial light source (sunlight is great for plants, but not the best for taking indoor photos ) hope this helps! Good luck in the competition! I'll try to get a picture... maybe. -Tomdroidser
  19. The armor close to the hand is the trans-orange you mentioned, but it doesn't stand out for some reason I don't remember. -Tomdroidser
  20. Haven't seen any Inika rebuilds, so I decided to do one myself and enter it in the contest. Link to topic if anyone's curious. -Tomdroidser
  21. BBC #69: Jaller Inika Rebuilt MOC Upgrade from 2006 to 2015 Front|Left|Back|Right Six cannisters floating torwards Voya Nui contain six Matoran. Each patiently waiting for their destination. However, from above, lightining from a mysterious Red Star strikes them. When they emerge, the will be known as the Toa Inika. Nine years later, at least one of them receives a makeover: Jaller Inika! Comparison Pictures: Tahu 2015|Matoro Inika|Axonn|Onua 2015|Axalara T9 Fun Pictures: The Knighting of Jaller|Victory!|I'm on a Stuffed Animal|Meditation Thoughts, comments, polite remarks, and equally polite comments are appreciated. -Tomdroidser
  22. I don't remember what my first LEGO set actually is, but the oldest set in my possession is Rahkshi Vohrahk. In terms of age, I have to say Tahnok-Kal. First brick set I remember having is Battle of Metru Nui. The latter two are currently disassembled for parts. -Tomdroidser
  23. No follow-ups from the Duplo aliens yet? Article was informative, but it's not much. -Tomdroidser
  24. Regarding G2: Is it going to be a parallel universe or will elements be added to the existing EM? -Tomdroidser
  25. I think I'm fine with Combiner Wars. I'd like to see Superion and Menasor. -Tomdroidser
