  1. Ic: "Well fought, sir," the matoran said. "I am Atiel, gentleman adventurer. May I have the pleasure of knowing your name?" "I'm Senegal, poet-pugilist," he said. "I fight in rings sometimes and write literature when I don't. Needsless to say, I'm an expert in the brawl, and you did well, too. Whoever has your services is a blessed man."

  2. Ic: "My clients tell me what they'd like in general and I design and make it for them, so it usually depends on their own needs," Cersei explained. "But I'll indulge you with some of the things I made. One time I created a device that slowly deteriorated the subject's body on a molecular level, and painfully I might add. He was left with a spine of gelatine and was left to die after he talked. Another one had crystals which slowly punctured the target's armor until it cracked and then pierced their flesh. And another time I made a machine that simply ate the being from the inside with mechanical worms. The one I used that one on is still alive to this day."

  3. Aurax walked over to the Matoran standing there. "You're Stannis, I presume?"

Ic: "I am," Stannis said, glad that a matoran had finally answered his call. He was growing weary of standing and pacing and the arrival of one of his ownw as a certain comfort for him to bear. "Who are you and who sent you here?" he asked.
  4. Nobody wants to work for a stiff. Where's Robert? Dude was the steel to your iron. And cooler.

The dude also didn't know how to grow a legit heir to the Iron Throne. He grew fat from how much he sucked. Get over it. :P (It was a easy to pick name, too.)
  5. Despite the many people who said they were interested, to my knowledge, nobody has shown up to Stannis in Ta-Koro yet. Like seriously, what's the hold up? I even said he's got a banner above him to show people where he's at. I guarantee you it'll be fun, but it would only work if we can actually get to the RPing part.

  6. My point is that while they do grow in Po-Wahi, they are miracles and can grow anywhere I want them to. Basically. :P Unless I just make more illusions. Tanma, the Miracle Cactus was a meme I inadvertently started early this year. It's supposedly a cactus that, if one is lucky enough to find one (and this is very, very rare), can cure or heal many things because it's a miracle.

  7. I think y'all are overthinking this wayy too much. The Vortixx and Skakdi are here because it makes the players happy to have variety. This is a sandbox, remember? Plot is optional, even to staff, and I'll wager not too much thought is put in it. :P 'Sides, Tuck said this may not even be Teridax. It's just The Makuta. Let's just immerse ourselves in the lore of this island and have a solid jolly storytelling time instead of wondering whether the great spirit is dead.

  8. Ic: Cersei sat down next to Anavel and looked over the menu. It was a tourist-oriented restaurant from the looks of it; not too many of the locals would be this well behaved or even be able to afford the prices, but that was all the better. "I'm an engineer of sorts. I make things for people, some material and some political," she explained. Upon reconsideration, she clarified: "I make torture devices for the right buyers and instigate events for others," she said mostly for the shock value it had in a good establishment like this.

  9. Ic: "I think I'll come with," Cersei said to Anavel. "No sense in going alone when two's company, right?" she said. She straightened her scarf as she walked and buttoned one of the fasteners of her jacket. Cercei gingerly touched her gauntlets, feeling the grooves in them and extending just the very tips of the blades from it, more out of habit than anything else. The deadly and fearsome weapons gave her some measure of bolstered comfort and confidence, knowing that she could gut anyone she wanted to in seconds if it came to it. Truth be told, she wasn't the most assured of herself in combat, it being one of her less-exercised skills. She was a far better manipulator and strategist than a fighter, but with her wand and gauntlets with her, she was a lot less innocent than without.

  10. Ic: Acheno The stoic Toa's eyes widened as the mural spread out before him. He inhaled sharply. "Um," Acheno began, "we need to keep digging." [...] "There seems to be a large open chamber through here." His hands brushed against the crumbling dirt. "I think this is the doorway." Ooc: The code I'm referring to is Bacon's Cipher. Any number of messages can be written with it, but it all depends on the decoding key.

Ic: "No shitaki mushrooms, Sherlock,"Dany said as if affronted that Archeno thought she hadn't thought of that before. "What do you think I'm doing? Anyway, what makes you think there's a doorway there? You pulling some sort of elemental magic?" she asked, genuinely wondering how Archeno came to that conclusion. Nevertheless, she handed him a mechanical shovel tool, Xian by the looks of it. She didn't even wait for him to grab it firmly before she let go and got to work moving dirt. She was more than exited to get back to work on the dig.
  11. Ic: Stannis paced in front of the Temple of Courage as he had been for hours. He had sent out the birds to the other Koro to summon the best and brightest of the matoran folk who were willing to offer life and limb for a greater cause. The team: hopefully a select few of fellow matoran who could solve mysteries and show what true heroes are made of. The goal: save the island and everyone in it from the Makuta. Simple enough said, but not done. At this point, Stannis didn't even know if he was going to be getting anyone at all. Although his messages were directed to village elders and were not posted on bulletin boards like an advertisement, he had gotten two people to approach him so far, and neither was a matoran. One was a toa, haughty as they came, who offered to "protect" and "lead" the group. Stannis politely declined, and when the toa took offense, Stannis swiftly called him out for his arrogance and rid of him. Another, a Skakdi, seemed more interested in the potential profits than anything. There was a Vortixx, too, to seal the mix, but she only offered equipment, which Stannis took a raincheck on, to the Vortixx's mixed pleasure. Still, it was midday and still no matoran had arrived to join his banner. He paced some more. He wasn't like the Ta-Matoran who relished the heat, instead just tolerating it like any other weather. Although the view of the lava flows from the temple's steps was spectacular, he had no interest in them, having seen them more than enough already. Besides, he had destiny on the brain, not sightseeing. He waited some more. Ooc: For all who have been selected into the organization with no name yet, Stannis is your man. The background was explained here: he sent birds to the turaga and village leaders requesting helpers; that's you guys. You've never met Stannis and he's nobody famous, FYI, but there is a little banner above him to show who he is.

  12. Ooc: It's metal. He absorbed it, so it's turned into energy. No injuries. *shrug* However, if you think it would have done greivious damage to Senegal, the why isn;t the same sort of damage being inflicted on Sookus? I'd say superheated metal does a lot more than sting and itch, especially if you have no way to fight it like Senegal. I do apologize for not realizing Sookus was still shooting his eyebeams, but to be fair, using heat vision impairs normal vision, so I don't think he'd be very accurate with it or anything else, especially if he's been using the power for a while now. He'd be half blind by now. Ic forthcoming.

  13. People can do what they want, as long as it is permitted per the rules. Some of my characters and their names are based off of A Game of Thrones and based former characters on similar shows, for an example. People can take their inspiration from wherever they want.
