Yes, I took the opportunity to go and check out the area of Emeryville and Pixar Studios. I did not get inside (hehe, that'd have been the jackpot) but it was still awesome. For a reason or two...
For one, I saw Doc Hudson...
...and there's this:
That would be a brand-new Aston Martin Vantage (Maybe a Castmember of Cars 2?)
...and sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum-security stockade to the Los Angeles underground (Hollywood). Today, premiering in Cinemas, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem...if no one else can help...and if you wanna see a remake that totally rocks...maybe you can buy a ticket to...The A- Team.
Such a cool movie ^^ I won't spoil a thing, but darnit it's as cool as the TV Show was when I watched as a kid!
People lining up back into the main-hall of the cinema for the 8m showing.
So, big PoP spoiler: Everybody dies.

No, not really. This entry is 100% spoiler-free.
But IMO it is one cool movie. Will there be haters? Sure, as always.
But it's the cool clean fun Disney and Bruckheimer provided us with in PotC as well, so it's enjoyable enough ^^
Hey y'all! It's VF, reporting from CJ's Basement! I would love to write more, but I am dead tired. But since today was the season finale of Supernatural I thought I'd leave you a little treat.
Because this is what happens when two crazy BZPers stick their heads together:
In abut 72 hours I'll on the other side of the mountains, back in BBC...at least that's what is says on the license plates...which is an understatement IMO.
Just giving you a little heads up before I head to the airport, here's my general areas of action. (Answering the "where's he gonna go?" part from last entry^^):
May 5th-28th: Alberta
May 28th-June 15th: British Columbia
June 15th-July 5th: Oregon
July 5th-12th: California
July 12th-28th: West Virginia
July28th-August 5th: Tennessee
August 5th-8th: BRICKFAIR
Afterwards hasn't been really planned yet. Possible destinations inlcude New York, but around Agust 20th I'll head back to Canada, maybe staying in Ontario for a couple of days before going to Québec and head back home September 10th.
So, if anybody is really curious about meeting up, drop me a PM, I'll be online from time to time ^^
Nothing to break an artistic block like the artbook for Avatar and the first season of CN's The Clonewars which I both picked up while out in town yesterday
I finally decided to enter the Blog-Contest after coming back from a short weekend trip to pick up my grandparents who wanted to visit the family for a couple of days.
The images you see here are about 50% taken by me and 50% found on the Internet, but they all show places I've been to in my life.
I've seen many beautiful places and I have fond memories of many of them, which is why I pimped my Blog with them.
If you have ideas on how to improve the design, I'd like to hear them ^^
So I open my e-mail today and guess what was in my inbox:
A Ubisoft newsletter with the offer to download one for 3 games for free as compensation for the Assassin's Creed 2 server-crash earlier this year.
I also got the first newsletter for regular-edition AC2-customers who were given a code to unlock the 3 bonus areas that come with the black edition, which I passed onto a friend (You know who you are).
And now I can choose between Tom Clancy's Hawx, Endwar or Heroes over Europe...but which one should I take...I think I'll go with Hawx. Nothing like being able to fly an F22 or EF2000 with cosmic rocket-payload.
