  1. I remember Spybotics but never got the sets. I don't recall ever playing the game either.
You guys should try it. It is super fun if you like turn-based strategy games.
I'll see about it. I don't really have much time to play online games, and I don't really have a computer for it. Any direct links to the .dcr file on cache.lego.com?
Nah. I tried finding it, but all that came up were the online versions that people uploaded to game-hosting websites. :/
  2. Wooooow yeah I used to play that game. It was really fun if I remember right. :3 Dunno where you can find a version. I'm not even sure I beat it, but I got far.
I ended up at Level 5 only. If you google it, you can find websites hosting these games... but they seem to be the glitched versions, or an incomplete port...
  3. Does anyone remember this game? I used to play this game for days as a kid, untill LEGO decided to delete it. I am searching for a downloadable version of it, but to no avail :/I know there're online versions, but those only has 1 battle theme, and every enemy turn it freezes :/

  4. Given that one shot can punch a hole in a wall, one might (maybe) be enough to pierce a Makuta's protosteel armor, but who knows. Come to think of it, it seems a bit violent lol.
Well, you probably forgot that Disk Launchers are capable of firing Kanokas that can mutate/shrink/enlarge/weaken/teleport people and then in 2007 there were Cordak Blasters.... who imo are more violent Toa-weapons than light-shooting blasters, fully automatic or not :P Afaik the MSBs and NGBs the Nuva used come from the Adaptive Armor and those were made by Artahka. We haven't seen Artakha made any fully automatic weapons so I guess it is safe to assume that the ones Nuva used weren't fully auto... But then again how many of Artakha's creations have we seen...Speaking of which the vehicles sets have MSBs on them but are those really MSBs or just other kind of launchers?
  5. I really like the idea of having the Inika for one more year and the usage of the Toa Terrian Crawler (I was hoping for more of its appearance in 2007 when BIONICLEstory.com kinda made a big deal out of it).I mean, I am not trying to say that the Toa Nuva should be completely out of the spotlight, but IMO 2007's ending seemed to be a bit rushed when Matoro revived Mata Nui and sent back the Mahri to MN as if it was simply to tie up the loose ends of the Mahri and kick them out of the spotlight for Toa Nuva.

  6. Sorry for that typo lol, fixed. It seems that a destined Matoran who had Toa Energy available, and is making a decision to enter a situation where they need to be heroic triggers Toa Stones. For the Metru, this was by putting the stones on the Suva; it was probably more like a symbolic act that triggered the right mental state than anything else, and the Suva channeled the energy. With Takua, it was accepting what Jaller said; he had always been different, there was no Toa of Light to be found from a Toa canister, he was to be the Toa of Light, and the Rahkshi were near, had just killed Jaller so the danger was real. He thus made the decision there. With the Inika, they were entering the unknown on a quest they'd been told was of the utmost importance, and they didn't even know they had Toa energy available via the lightning, but they were definately in the same mental state of being heroes when it hit them. So, it seems that it's all about that mental state. :) So far it seems that it's always when there's a danger, or knowledge of the likelihood of danger, that is weighing heavily on their minds.
I like this idea a lot. Something that always confuses me is that I remember Takua was the one who found the Toa Stones the Toa Metru hid in order to trigger some sort of device to send help, and the beam the device made hit Takua right in his face yet he didn't transform into a Toa.Now I'd wonder how Helryx transformed Krakua into a Toa... that's a bit disturbing :P
  7. I guess if I were to end the story I would just say that Ignika was damaged during the process of flying through the space and sucked every life form wherever it travels and every living things die. I mean, there're a lot, and I mean A LOT, mysteries left unsolved in BIONICLE, and I'd hate to find every one of those out and solve them one by one and hope that the things I wrote wouldn't be contradicting :P

  8. Podu could've died without changing anything. And imagine if Matoro died... the whole universe would be screwed. XD
Are you kidding me? If Podu died, then Mata Nui would be partially brain dead because Matoran of Metru Nui acts like brain cells to Mata Nui! :PBtw I think all Great Kanoka disks holding Matoran could have died. I mean, with so many clues left behind in their home, the Toa Metru can easily access to the Kanoka themselves without these stupid rebellious Matoran :P
  9. IMO not many major characters had fully developed their characteristics. If only every year wouldn't have dozens of characters swarming into the story (That is excluding fanon and serials...)So far Krika is my favourite character because he didn't seem all that merciless despite being a Makuta, and was cunning enough to figure out part of Makuta's plans. But his role didn't last for a year and ended up being killed for very silly reasons. Who would have thought that a Makuta who was intelligent enough to realize their inevitable doom in Karda Nui would rush up to the patriotic Gorast telling her how Teridax betrayed them instead of running off for his life himself... He might not be the best but he surely had the potential...

  10. 2006 to 2007 did, most likely, much more than 2005 which did get one. Imagine Piraka with evil grins, Matoro´s death and action-packed battles up in the skies in a movie. 2010 could have been pretty epic as a movie, too.-Gata signoff.jpg
It would be confusing. Imagine how confused 9-year-old kids would be when Matoro used his mask power. "Daddy, is he dead? :o"Btw, IMO the first half of 2004 deserved a movie. 6 Toa finding themselves finding Matoran so they can find disks to find ways to defeat a gaint evil plant. Sounds like a great movie.
  11. I actually started replaying it a few months ago. I didn't finish it either time I played, though, it got tedious after a while--especially because of the fact that there were exactly two songs in the game.I did like the graphics a lot, though and the small amount of RPG elements really set it apart from other Bionicle games.
Which is why I modified the game and put the soundtracks of BIONICLE HEROES into the game. I didn't put up the moderator in BZPower though. Might try to do so but no promises cuz I am a bit lazy :/IMO the game is a bit too easy on the player in terms of supplies. The launchers are just op... and every Piraka I met never go farther than 2 rounds... Even Hakkan and Vezon lolAlso the reason why I gave up the game is because after finishing it there's really nothing to do other than defeating all the enemies. Another thing is that my favourite weapon, the Ion Launcher is very buggy and can freeze the game :/
  12. Not to mention that they need to reserve their powers for battles later on. But I do agree that they seem to use less and less of their elemental powers in creative ways as the story progress. I mean, it is understandable that if the Toa had little control over their elemental energies when they were just rookies and therefore nelegected to use them, but then why didn't they use and practice more when they became more experienced in combat? And this doesn't only apply to elemental powers but also mask powers and other abilities.
