I don't quite agree. I think they should just be made more like book reviews. You know, get rid of required classroom reading altogether, and instead require a good review of any book the student chooses.

You wanna read Hop on Pop? Go ahead, but you have a two page review on it due in two weeks.

See what I mean? The students' reviews would all be varied, and no longer would they have to have a story ruined by having other people explain it away.

And they could get rid of comprehension questions while they're at it.

I agree with you on the Pokemon thing. The games are still great, (Even though I HATE the Vs. Seeker :angry: ) but the cards started going downhill when they started making them e-Reader compatible, and the show just got downright repetitive what with all the filler episodes...

The problem is, I have a nasty habit of losing all of my Pokemon games.

Yeah, I like PotC movies too. Then again, Johnny Depp is a good actor in just about every movie he's in.

Also, I believe saying things like "I'll post the next chapter if I get replies" is not allowed. That would be like requiring people to post if they want to see how the story progresses, but don't have anything worth saying about chapter 1, and I really think there's a rule against that.

I remember when Aanchir and I were younger (I think about 11 or so) and we built an enormous Lego Saturn V rocket. I think it was about 5 feet. As in taller than I was then We were going to take a picture of it for the Mania Magazine (now Lego Magazine), but when we got back down to the basement with a camera, it had fallen down and broken. Oh, the misery!

I agree to your every statement. There is a right way to use artpad, but the sub-par excuses for artwork that I have been seeing are not that. If someone were to make, say, a detailed Impressionist-styled Bionicle drawing, I would be forced to comment in it, but, I'm sorry to say, I have yet to see an artpad drawing that is any good. So unless one of our artists out there can make an artpad drawing that is actually art, I will join this boycott.

Truth be told, I haven't ever posted in any artpad topics anyway.

NOT Takadox. A couple GitD pieces aren't worth how weird he looks. Carapar's what I'd say, since he looks great, along with having new pieces AND pieces in new colors. The ony reason to get others is if you need specific colors and/or types of pieces not found in Carapar. Go with Carapar if you want a nicely structured set with good pieces.
