  1. IC:Lantz walked into The Dripper and chose a seat by the far wall. He ordered a glass of of "vino," his favorite drink, and sipped it slowly. He kept his eyes on the door, quietly inspecting everyone that came in.Very good Lantz. Very Good.Lantz smiled. He gladly accepted the compliment from Makuta in his mind and continued waiting.Ooc: more than one person can try to take the bounty.
  2. I posted a bounty in Ga-Wahi, if anyone would care to take it.
  3. IC:Lantz avoided all the commotion in the main parts of Ga-Koro. Witness' would be... unconducive to the work he was doing. As he made his way down down the wooden docks that made up the streets of Ga-Wahi, Lantz begun putting up posters which he had made himself. They were all identical, and read: WANTED CRIMINAL Toa Knidia Element: Water Notable Features: Tail Reward: 10,000 Widgets Crime(s): Speaking out against the Turaga See Toa Lantz at The Dripper to turn in the criminal and receive your reward! Sponsored by Turaga Matau As he finished putting up posters Lantz headed to The Dripper, a pub he had rather enjoyed back in the good old days. He needed a good drink.ooc: Any takers?
  4. Are there still bounties in this game?
  5. IC:Before Jaller could answer, LoJak spoke up "And food? Do you have any food?"Merror and the others looked at him angrily."What?" he said defensively. "We've fought Rakshi and agents of Makuta like that bloody Toa of Magnetism. I don't know about you all, but I think that means we need to recharge with some food."
  6. IC: LoJak laughed weakly. He still hadn't recovered completely from the flight. "Probably some business about saving some Matoran somewhere, stopping some evil villain or maybe even defeating Makuta. After a while you learn not to care too much, as long as you know you're doing the right thing. Remind me, how did you find your way into the group, young Toa?"
  7. ooc: From kini-Nui IC: Lantz made it to Ga-Koro in short order, and was barely out of breath. Makuta sure had made him powerful. He looked around. The harbor had quickly been repaired after he had...damaged it. He scanned the area but could not immeadietly see Knidia or Nokama. That was good, for now. He had business to attend to.Lantz walked over to a shipwright. "Hello Madam" he said with a charming smile. The Ga Matoran noticed him and nearly screamed. "Stop" he yelled, anger flourishing in an instant. A second later it vanished. "I'm sorry. I did not mean to frighten you. As you can see, my kind arent seen around here much." "Your kind? And what kind is that?" the Ga-Matoran asked. "You wouldn't know even if I told you. Tell me, how would one go about getting to Xa-Koro?" Lantz tried to keep her attention off the chest of widgets behind her. He tried to activate his elemental abilities to make the chest float far above her reach, but nothing happened. How odd. You cannot access your elemental abilities directly, you fool. Use your Rhotuka. Lantz thought for a moment what Makuta was reffering to. Then he realized there was a strange disk on his back. "Well, first of all, you wouldn't want to go there anyways, too many pir-" the Ga-Matoran was saying when Lantz tackled her into the water yelling "Careful!"As the two fell into the water Lantz launched the Rhotuka at the chest of widgets. It hit and knocked the chest into the water as well. It quickly sank. Lantz quickly got out of the water, helping the Ga Matoran. "I am SO sorry. I thought I saw a Mana behind you" he said apologetically. "Are you CRAZY? Get out of my shop!" the Ga-Matoran yelled. Lantz did so with pleasure. When he got far enough Lantz jumped into the water. He looked around underwater and saw the chest. He launched another Rhotuka at it, but when it hit this time, gravity ceased to affect the chest and began to float to the surface. Lantz swam to it, grabbed a hold of it and took to it to shore. He looked inside. It was full. Perfect. Very good. Now fo find a pirate.
  8. ooc: From Le-Wahi IC: LoJak and Sisk saw Merror and the others, so Sisk turned Skyscratcher and had the Gukko land gracefully next to the group. LoJak carefully got off the oversized bird, cursed Mata-Nui for having every created the bird, cursed himself for cursing Mata-Nui, knelt and grabbed his legs. He nearly vomited. He hated flying. If Mata Nui had wanted them to fly, he would have never made the earth. "Need some help getting down?" he asked Sisk.
  9. IC: Lantz leapt into the darkness. He ran on all fours. His muscles were so strong now, he literally felt like he could bounce of the walls. And his vision! He could see in the darkness perfectly, as if the sun itself was in these tunnels. He quickly made his way to the surface. He smelled the fresh air... it smelled so good. He had never truly made use of his olfactory organs before now!To the east he smelled the burning odours of Ta-Koro, the metals being purified through fire. To north the jungles of Le-Wahi, the putrid swamps and magnificent flowers. He lifted his head to the sky and howled. Wait, why did he just do that? That wasn't right. No, no only Rahi howled. Lantz suddenly realized his arms were on the ground, and that he was standing like a dog. No, that was not right either. He stood up on his hind legs. Go to Ga-Koro. Reclaim your honour. Show that Ga-Toa who she messed with. Lantz looked around. He didn't see anyone. Than who had said something about Ga Koro...? Then it dawned on him. It must be Makuta. Yes, Lantz thought, Makuta has telepathy. Why didnt I remember that? Lantz sniffed the air, turned towards Ga-Koro and run. And he had lots of fun doing it. ooc: Thanks Friar. Lantz to Ga-Wahi.
  10. IC: LoJak jumped onto the Gukko named Skyscratcher behind Sisk. He didn't particularly like Gukko Birds, and he found them rather uncomfortable, but he figured it would be a short trip."Well" he asked, "what are we waiting for?"
  11. IC: LoJak took a breath and knocked on Matau's door. It was a good, solid knock. If you're gonna do something, do it right he always said.As they waited for a response, LoJak looked at Sisk and Leah. He thought he still noticed a sense of sadness in them, so he gave them a reassuring smile.
  12. IC: "My dear Matoran, my name is LoJak. And if there is one thing I can tell you, it is that there will be more than one Matoran involved in bringing down Makuta."LoJak got up, dusting off his knees. He extended his hands to Leah and Sisk, offering to help them up as well."Now why don't we knock on Matau's door and see if there isn't something the three of us could help around with on this island."
  13. IC: "I understand. Many have suffered loss at the hands of Makuta. Tell me, why have you come to great Turaga?" LoJak was sincerely curious. He could understand why Toa would seek out Matau, to gather intelligence as to how defeat Makuta once and for all. But simple matoran? No, there must be something else afoot.
  14. IC: Lantz was just barely concious. He couldn't tell how much time was passing. Seconds, minutes, hours.... it was all the same. He could feel he was cocooned in some sort of... substance. Lojak thought he was upside down, but he couldn't tell. He couldn't even open his eyes. Time passed... Lantz felt a shifting sensation. It was hard to describe properly. It was like his insides were changing, moving around. LoJak felt liked vomiting, but couldn't. The part of him that was once an honorable Toa told him that was happening was wrong, but another told that the Visorak's powers were right. That they promised power, and more. And Lantz would have it all.
  15. IC: "I see." LoJak thought it might be the group he had been in earlier, but decided it would be better not to take a chance and interrupt the turaga speaking with another group.Lojak sat down next to the matoran."You two look sad. I'm guessing it because of Tamaru's.... passing. Did you two know him well?"
  16. IC: LoJak was pensive. Mata-Nui had lost a great Matoran today. And for what? Because of some gigantic chess game between two brothers, of which Toa, Matoran, Turaga, Vortixx and Skakdi were pawns. LoJak could not allow Tamaru's death be in vain, nor allow it to go unavenged.LoJak activated his Kakama and ran. He kept on running until a thought formulated in his head. He remembered having seen Merror and the others talk to Matau. LoJak knew that he had to return to the group. He ran to Matau's hut and stopped. He saw two beings sitting outside of the hut. "Is there anyone inside?" he asked Sisk and Leah.
  17. IC: Lantz smiled. This is exactly what he had been looking for when he had descended the tunnel to find Makuta. "I do" he said solemnly. Lantz heard a faint buzzing and felt a sense of power growing around him. This was it. Now he only had to hope that Makuta would not somehow change him in an unexpected manner that would be ironic in an evil overlord kind of way.
  18. IC: Lantz inhaled deeply, as much from newfound air as well as to calm his nerves. Here he was, making a deal with the The Dark One. He definitely had not imagined this scenario when he had been destroying the Ga-Wahi harbor. "I have heard tales of what your servants are like. I have heard that they are prisons in their own minds, their bodies your puppets. Much like how a Tryna would function. This I cannot williningly allow. But to swear fealty to your rule, to be your Herald in the Light - that I can do! If you allow it, I shall spread the word of your greatness and champion your cause. I will fight those that would stop you, and defend you to my last breath. This I do offer."
  19. IC: All around the Koro there was speak of Tamaru's funeral. Although LoJak did not know the matoran personally, he had heard of his valor. He activated his Kakama and run to the swamp that would be Tamaru's grave. It seemed to have been surrounded by the citizens of the entire Koro. LoJak lifted his sword to the sky and shot a giant fireball into the sky. It rested over two hundred feet above the ground, LoJak's simple tribute to Tamaru.
  20. IC: "As a matter of fact, I do. Perhaps I was wrong, maybe you do not wish to destroy the people of Mata-Nui. But you yourself said that you need to disrupt their Unity, remove their sense of Duty. As long as the Turaga hold sway over the minds of the Matoran, you will not succeed."I beg you. Please." There was a sense of urgency in Lantz's voice. "Help me help you. If you do not want them destroyed, then let me discredit them. Let me herald your Shadow across the land, direct the people's worship to you rather than your brother."
  21. IC: LoJak activated his Kakama and sped off towards Merro, Pirok and the corpse of Tamaru. He was there in seconds. "Pirok, you must have seen where the Toa Magnetism headed, and with who. If you can show me, I can probably reach them before they ge too far away."
  22. ooc: To be fair, Lantz did not defeat the Manas. He only stopped them from attacking him for a little while, which I think is compltely fair, considering what Gravity can do. Even for a turaga. IC: Lantz shuddered. Even Makuta's speech was vile and contrary to the very core of a turaga. Nevertheless, The Dark One held his fate in his hands, and more. "Yes, my lord, I have a very good reason for having come to find you. You see, not to long ago I was Toa. A powerful Toa that could destroy the Ga-Wahi harbor out of simple whim. But I overextended myself. I was... ambushed, and captured. I was taken to someone you know well. Turaga Nokama." Lantz thought he heard an intake of breath from Makuta, but made nothing of it. Nokama was a thorn in The Dark One's side, and had been for as long Lantz could remember. "She stripped me of my Toa Energy as one would the peel of a fruit. She made me like herself, nearly powerless and weak. A state which I cannot abide. And so I have come to you. You are strong. You can restore my powers. And in exchange, I shall do your will and destroy the Turaga and their minions.
  23. IC: LoJak watched with horror as he ran straight into the elemental attacks. He quickly activated his Kakama and sped to the side, out of harms way. The mix of fire, electricity and lightning missed him and hit a tree. In anger LoJak conjured a fireball and flung it at the hovering Eschelon.
  24. Ic: LoJak ran after Pirok and found the fellow Ta-Toa in a heated battle with a Toa of Magnetism. That was not good. He saw a few other Toa battling the what seemed to be rogue Toa.LoJak moved over so that he faced the back of Eschelon. He unsheathed his sword and and tried to run Eschelon through.
