It was great. Each hero got the screen-time they needed, there was a good balance between action scenes and story-developing scenes and there was a joke at all the right moments for a joke. Just and all-round good, stylish and really fun movie.

Glad you're liking the Paradise Lost albums. I would recommend picking up In Requiem as well.
And I've been meaning to listen to the new Lacuna Coil for a while now. I heard one of their earlier albums and quite liked it, but then they started trying to sound more like Evanescence which kinda put me of their newer stuff.

If you can think of something, go for it. Not like you have to wait 90 days to change it back if you don't like it.
In the old forums I changed my name as often as I could, though every second name was -Malchior-. Stopped doing it since the new forums, but not quite sure why. Especially considering I would only have to wait 45 days now...

Welcome back ^.^

Yeah, I prefer coursework too. All the people I know that went into science say that they're really happy that they have almost none of it and have twice as many exams instead, but I don't really see anything to be happy about there
Oh by the way, is your college making you do Extended Project?
-
Glad to hear you like Faith Divides Us. I might actually like Tragic Idol even more, but I'm gonna wait to see how it holds up in a couple of months before calling it my favourite Paradise Lost album
-
Sorry to hear, but stay strong and remember that you're an awesome person. I'm sure you'll pull through.
We all can't wait to have you back.

I just cannot connect with pun-based humour anymore. It'd be great to shift the topic away and escape this type of comedy.
-
Indeed. They would need to search for some answers.
-
That's actually quite good, PK. It's good to see you have reloaded on your jokes...
I'll show myself out.

Well, I may not draw much, but when I do doodle I always use a thicker black pen. I guess something about it just makes the doodles look better for me.
I also like drawing in tribal style when doodling, and a thick pen is definitely better for those, but that's just because of the art style more than anything else.

Eh, my hopes of sleeping are gone now I'll just wait until I get back home for that.
Well this thing is around 20% of my History grade, which is not too likely to change my university, as the other coursework is done and is good and I'm very confident with the exam. But of course that is not a risk worth taking at all, which is why I'm up right now.
And even if yours won't matter in the end, at least you get to enjoy the pleasures of another all-nighter essay before you're done with them

I have no doubt I'll leave with a certain amount of hate for the institution
And yeah, Wikipedia is great for the overview. Not to mention that some of he references on it are legitimate sources that can easily be used in an essay.
And yes, the maths of essays are great fun. I worked out that if I keep good pace I might actually be able to have up to an hour's nap before having to get ready to leave. That's something to possibly look forward to. If I don't spend the nap time on the internet instead

Ah, I really wanted to do that period of Russian history in my A2 history, but sadly we're doing America between the World Wars unit instead, which is nowhere near as interesting.
I guess I'm kinda where you are: need around 500 more words on how bad Prohibition turned out to be, although now I'm just digging through Google trying to find more sources on the Chicago mobs that I can cite. Finding lots of sources is probably the most annoying bit.
And I guess well done for nearing the end of your studies. I'm only just about to start what you're about to finish.
-
Sweet. So far I'm into my third listen of Tragic Idol and it's fantastic.
-
Well, I had no plans of sleeping tonight anyway.
-
I really don't see anything disturbing or scary
But yeah, they're really cool, but the one in bottom right looks rather normal. Love the Joker one.
-
Hey, don't worry about it, as you said you wont have to see them ever again soon.
That's actually one of the best things about finishing school and going into higher education, I find. All the [cool-dudes] drop out and everyone who's in higher education is there because they want to be and they want to achieve, and they're much more serious about it. Of course there's still always gonna be other prejudices, but compared to high school, it's nothing.

Yeah, £27,000 not including accommodation/living makes for a very expensive piece of paper...
Well, my firm choice is law at Exeter and my back up is Anglia Ruskin. The other offers were from Kent, Keele and Reading.
-
Yeah, I can see why you wouldn't like the synth era. It's my least favourite, but I still do like One Second and even Host. Believe In Nothing is the only one that isn't that great, but it's still decent. Though Mackintosh supposedly himself said that he prefers to forget that album exists because they didn't have much creative control over and it was under instructions from their label.
-
Sadly, that is the truth of it...
-
Yeah, I'm not great at reviews
But I definitely recommend this. Even if you prefer the early death/doom, this album does draw a bit from it.
-
6 has been the size of my history class this whole year XD That is of course granted that I'm doing the second year of my A Levels, so most people either didn't chose history or didn't make it through to the second year.
But still, it's actually kinda nice only having a few people.
-
Well, we get a whole year of it XD
At least the other side of the English course is quite fun. We get to transform two books/poems/plays into our own original pieces
