  1. I have some questions about the Brotherhood of Makuta for the Memoirs of the Dead entry that I'm writing. 1) When did Teridax take over (how many years since the MU was created)?2) The Makuta were created as biomechanical beings from non-sentient liquid antidermis, and eventually reverted back to their original liquid form, correct?3) Were they created by Mata Nui, or the Great Beings?4) When Teridax presented his plan to the rest of the Brotherhood, what made them follow it? What was in it for them?5) When were they first assigned regions (how many years since the MU was created)?6) When did Spiriah leave (how many years since the MU was created)?7) When did they abandon their inner light?8) Why did they abandon their inner light?9) How did they abandon their inner light?10) Are the Makuta programmed like the Matoran? If they aren't, were they before they became antidermis?11) Do the Makuta directly control Kraata, Rahkshi, and wearers of Infected Kanohi, or are they just the Makuta's slaves?12) Did the Makuta create Rahi from Viruses and liquid protodermis, or energized protodermis?13) When the Makuta became antidermis, did the armor they wore at the time become antidermis too, or just their mechanical and organic parts?14) Are the pre-antidermis Makuta basically masses of Kraata with mechanical parts and armor?15) How big are Makuta before they start absorbing things?
  2. Yeah, I'd always assumed it was representing the Mask of Light and Shadow, but I wasn't sure as the promotional images of the Takutanuva set show it with the Kraakhan flipped the horizontal way, and the Movie Edition Kraakhan only stylizes the vertical side of the mask. It makes it really confusing. But, I think the most likely reason for it is the MOLAS.
  3. Does anyone remember Populus's 3D Spinning Mask Depot? He closed it down, and shut down his Brickshelf so now all the avatars are inaccessible. Do you know if anyone has archived them? I had this really cool avatar, it was a Kanoka disk with an Awesome face on it, I really want it back!
  4. Is there any canon significance to the Makuta's flip-head from 2003?
  5. Well, all of the nanotech had fingers. So, the Glatorian hands, I guess.
  6. Since it's a new page, I'll post this again. Here is a list of characters you can write aboutAncientAntrozBitilBotarCaraparChiroxGorastHydraxon (the original)IhuIcaraxJovanKarzahni (the plant)KodanKojolKrekkaKrikaLhikanMatoroMavrahMorbuzakhMutranNahoNidhikiNikilaNocturnReysaSidorakSpiriahTridaxVamprahZaktanI hope there can be winning entries for all these characters.
  7. Can the story be done in the format of a journal that the character kept, rather than a memoir?
  8. That makes sense. I guess it was possible though. So all dead Makuta are dead for sure. Which means that they can be written about for the contest.Oh, that's interesting. I guess that really makes Zaktan the only viable candidate. I can't think of anyone else who would fit the description of "green mist". It really seemed like it was antidermis being described, though.Anyways, back to discussion of the contest!
  9. It could be a Makuta that was thought dead, but is actually not (big surprise there). If it was a Makuta, my guess would be Krika or Icarax, since rather than being incinerated, they just had their molecules spread apart, so obsensibly their antidermis could recoalesce. (Is Krika still made of antidermis post-mutation?) Greg's stated that Makuta is dead for good; on the other hand, he's heavily implied that Zaktan is not dead. However, since we can't prove Zaktan's alive, we're allowed to write a story about him.Edit: Gah, ninja'd by Bonesii! Curses! I mean a member of the Makuta species, not Teridax. I know there have been implications about Zaktan being alive, but when I read "green mist", antidermis was the first thing that came into my head. I mean, Zaktan was made up of a swarm of microscopic protodites, which don't necessarily have to be green. While we're on the subject of Teridax's death, why would having the vessel his antidermis was being carried in being destroyed have killed him? It didn't seem to stop him when his original armor and the Maxilos robot were destroyed. And, the fact that Takanuva stopped to wonder if he was really dead made me start to think that he wasn't. Now that I'm thinking about it, I would also consider Teridax to be a viable candidate for the one thought dead.
  10. Why does everyone list Zaktan as the one thought dead? It's probably a Makuta.
  11. No, I mean the time between the end of 2008 and the start of 2009. Before 2009.Here's what I answered already on the first page about Hydraxon: So technically Dekar is not really dead; his own memories are still in his own body in a new form, and hypothetically could be reawakened in the future. While Hydraxon's "revival" is not a clear revival of the same spirit as with Jaller, but a copy that was given the original's memories, so the original is still dead.So yes to Hydraxon (prior to his death in the past only!), no to Dekar. I figured someone would ask this sooner or later. I do not consider Mavrah a possibility. Someone might be able to convince me otherwise, but I say no for two reasons. First, for the same reason Zaktan is okay even if he turns out to be the "one thought dead" -- at story present, he is thought dead, and at story present, Mavrah is known to be alive.More importantly, we never had confirmation that Mavrah was dead, and Greg said all along that if people really liked him, he could come back. (And people really liked him.) I never considered him dead because of this, and wasn't surprised to find out he wasn't. All we knew is that the Toa Metru lost sight of him.And just to confirm, Ignika is alive. Also, if not doing anything due to Mata Nui being in charge made him dead, Ignika spent most of its life doing nothing but being alive anyways, so you'd have to argue that he has usually been dead and had the power to occasionally come to life, which would still mean he isn't permanently dead. But more importantly, there's more to life than just interacting with the outside world; he can think, imagine, question, etc. Also, there's no reason to assume Mata Nui's consciousness won't ever leave, freeing up the Ignika to act by himself. Ok. I've swapped Gaurdian for Hydraxon. Now the list is perfect (I think).
  12. I think chapter one of Reign of Shadows qualifies as the start of 2009.And again, I'm pretty sure Mata Nui's mind overwrote the Ignika's (correct me if I'm wrong). The Ignika could have made observations while he (it?) was a mask, about the people trying to take/use it, and its gaurdians. The mask still exists, and the mind of the Mask still exists. It's a subserviant mind, having to do what Mata Nui says without question. It's like the men in an army. They have to do whatever their squadron leader says, but that doesn't make them dead (Until enemy fire hits them, anyway ). Or like servants in a household in olden days. Just because you have a taskmaster doesn't mean that you don't have a mind.Oh. Good to know that Iggy's still conscious. I'll remove him from the list. Also, should Mavrah be on the list, since he was only revealed to be alive after the 2009 storyline? And also, what about the original Hydraxon?

  14. Ignika you can take out. The body's gone, but it still lives. And you forgot Hydraxon the original.-TomdroidserDidn't Mata Nui's mind overwrite the Ignika's? And should Hydraxon count, since he's been sorta-ressurected?

  16. Here is a discussion I had with Greg that touched upon the concept of a BIONICLE afterlife. So there you have it, people. We don't discuss the BIONICLE afterlife.
  17. Hey Erebus. Next time you talk with Greg, can you talk to him about when and if the next chapters are coming out?Greg revealing the identities of the GB and the killer doesn't provide closure IMO, because there are so many unresolved story bits out there, like:The Red Star, why it tells the future, why there are Kestora living in it, why Mavrah is there (and not dead)The Toa Mahri and the Golden FusionThe identity/nature of the green cloud in the Golden FusionVoporak and the VahiCurrent society of Spherus Magna, with the planet's reconciliation and integration of the nanotechGreg's plans for the Barraki, Takadox, The Shadowed One, and Alternate Teridax
  18. Wow, has nobody said Vamprah? Vamprah was so... interesting. And Mutran. He was so cool with his twisted perversion with befouling Rahi. And Krika was a great tragic character. I think, since he wasn't incinerated like the other Makuta, he could ostensibly be brought back, which I would love to see. And, of course, Teridax. He was such a genious, and he got he best death ever: being shot in the head... with a planet. And, I don't know if this counts, but Alternate Teridax is a great man.
  19. I think I will write something. Canon-fit fanon is kind of a bummer though.EDIT: Whoa, when did I get my six year Faxon? I guess it's kind of appropriate for Lesovikk.
  20. I would love it if it was done right. It cannot be a kid's show like Hero Factory or Ninjago, it must be dark and creepy and scary at some points. Also, I old opt for it to be traditionally animated, rather than CGIed. And it should probably not retell previous stories, but it should expand on previous continuity., I think. Yeah. Let's not do this without Nathan Furst...Personally, while I like Nathan Furst's music, I don't think it would be quite right for a BIONICLE TV series. While his music was very epic, it did not have that electronic/tribal mix that characterized BIONICLE's early music, such as in the BIONICLE Power Pack or the Mata Nui Online Game. I think if a BIONICLE TV series were to happen, it would be best to bring in new musical talent to write a brand-new soundtrack that really captures the spirit of BIONICLE.This.As for a Hero Factory/Bionicle crossover, since the Great Beings are kind of implied to be humans, they chould say that the Heroes were the precursor to Mata Nui and the nanotech. I hate Hero Factory though.
  21. I found this to be insulting. Saying it on the front page for LEGO employees to see only makes things worse. It's like the general populace doesn't even want it to come back! Please show me a accurate number of Bionicle related news articles that aren't fan based that have been published this year alone. Once you have that number, please come back and tell me Bionicle isn't dead. The sets are gone, and the story is somewhat in a stand-still. Only aspect of it not being dead is that the fans here and across the board are making projects to keep it alive. Open your eyes.In other news, I am very glad to hear this! Always a good day to hear from Greg! This news alone proves it isn't dead. We are all keeping it alive in our continued dedication to it, and this news shoes that the story will continue. And who knows, maybe someday even the sets will return.
