  1. if you've got any cleaning solutions used for removing scuff marks and crayon and things of that nature from walls, I've found that generally works pretty well. Just keep it away from the disc itself (maybe move it to another case while cleaning) and wipe the case off afterward with a damp cloth and dry it. Chemicals found in cleaning products can damage a disc if it comes in contact.

also, what CDs did you get, out of curiosity?

EDIT: As suggested above, nail polish remover could also probably work, but again, keep it away from the disc itself and wipe off the area you used it on with water and dry it afterward to make sure no chemicals are left behind on the case.

  2. they have four previous albums, one out-of-print independent and three major label releases.

not sure you'd like them, honestly. they're on the more extreme side of metal with harsh vocals, blastbeats, tongue-in-cheek occult lyrics, that sort of thing. kind of a blend of thrash, death, and black metal.

  3. I'm finding Mikkelsen's to be the more accurate of the two.

as much as I loved Hopkins' I felt like it was too.. dramatic, almost "Bond villain" dramatic. which is funny because Mikkelsen actually was a Bond villain.

but I find Mads to play a much more sinister, embodiment-of-evil sort of Hannibal and I really like that.

  4. for some reason I can't seem to reply to your comment on my profile or PM you? so I guess commenting here is my only option

anyway I know them, got all their albums save for the latest one.

they're fantastic, but they're not an individual-song sort of band, honestly, especially considering all their albums are concept-based. I'd personally recommend giving their album Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness a listen. it's their best in my opinion.
