  1. House of Cards season 2 episode 8. I never thought American politics could make such a good tv show. Now I should watch some more Elementary and then more House of Cards.
  2. In this world there are not such a things as original ideas. Original ideas are weird combinations of old ideas.
  3. Most of us know that Hero Factory has very bare storyline. Factory build hero robots capture villains and so on. So I am asking have any of you made your own headcanons about Hero Factory, its characters or places? Me and bunch of my friends from Finnish Bionicle community Bioklaani have made our own story for the first year of Hero Factory, when we were not creating our own take on Bionicle universe called Klaanon. We had a thing called Viktorpedia were everything was centered around Doktor Viktor Von Nebula, dentist and spacebaron. Story in short. It all started during WWII when American troops set fire on Von Nebula's mansion in Switzerland. Viktor's father, Hektor Von Nebula survives, but his wife and Viktor's mother Adelaine Von Nebula dies in a fire and this seeds some hatred for Viktor. Years later Viktor graduates from dentist school (like his father) and creates new toohtpaste brand known as Teridax. He becomes wealthy and starts his own moon projects. Meanwhile the world's technology has created new Hero units. William Furno and Bill Furno are the first, made by the US, but then Companies such as Nokia, Apple and Microsoft make their own hero units. Soviets join this battle too with their own hero unit, Natalie Breeznikova, which acts as an agent for Soviet Union. Characters: Hero units: Preston Stormer (Pekka Myrskyisä in Finland) is a Hero unit from Nokia. They later upgraded it with 2.0 software update and it was marketed as Preston Stormer Comes With Music. Later Nokia created a new Hero known only as Rokka. He was named after popular Finnish war hero from Unknown Soldier book byt Väinö Linna. EVO is Microsoft's Hero Unit. We didn't really made him any personality at all. iNex is a Hero unit from Apple. It has some issues with other heroes because of the different softwares. We didn't really bothered with him. William and Bill Furno were the prototypes of a Hero Unit. They were market faces for new motorbikes and energy drinks. US goverment made a lots of money with these products and made other Hero units after Furno-line. Bulk, Stringer and Surge were the others not-so-succesful lines. Natalie Breeznikova is Soviet Union's agent and Hero unit. She is armed with maatuska grenades and others stereotypical russian weapons. Villains Doktor Viktor Von Nebula is a dentist and a spacebaron who has a Moon Laser and an Earth laser. He has his own space programs and has a space train known as Mr. ChooChoo. Viktor is last from Von Nebula clan and he wants to get his revenge from the world. He became very famous with his highly radioactive Teridax toothpaste and has made technology empire known as the VictorTech. He has a son who he doesn't even know and he adopted Vladimir Rotor. Vladimir Rotor is a former orphan streetboy from Stalingrad whom Viktor raised as his own son. Tavish McThunder is a Scottish master-mind and he wears McThunder-clan's colors. He has replaced his right hand with a robotic hand model Großen Handschuh from ViktorTech. He is a drunk and he claims to have fought against even the Loch Ness monster on one of his many drunken nights. Maurice Corroder is a French master thief, former baker and he has a big moustache. His favorite weapon is a pistol hidden in a baguette and he swears a lot in french. DJ XPlode is a Swedish DJ and electronic artist. He is specialiced in explosions and some times kills people attending in his concerts. Vincent Vapour is a Canadian meteorologist and martial arts master. He has helped Viktor with his space program. Michael EggTimer is Viktor's secret son who believes to be QUADAL-model robot. He is sided with US heroes, but when he finds the truth about his real father, no one knows ho he will act. His real name is Michael von Nebula. Lord McFire is a British and a leader of his own group of villains and some times he works with Viktor on his plans. He is a founder and leader of McFire Oil corporation and has his own gang. He has a son known as David "Drilldozer" McFire and he has his own criminal gang. He smokes a lot cigars. David "Drilldozer" McFire is Lord McFire's spoiled son who smokes a lot Cuban cigars. He is armed with a giant drill. Jamais Jetbug is a South African bug specialist. He works with McFire Oil because he knows all about bugs and insects which may harm workers and stop drillings. Nicholas Nitroblast is DJ Xplode's insane cousin from the Netherlands. He works with McFire Oil too and became insane watching too many cartoons. which damaged his eye too. We didn't really create good storyline about our characters and created this as a joke. I hope this kind of topics are allowed. So, post yours shall you?
  4. Maybe one day the Doctor and his trusty old Tardis could or would have been visited the Matoran Universe by accident. Vakama or Tahu using Vahi create some temporal time shifts and the Tardis lands inside the Matoran universe...
  5. I don't think it should be brought back. There are far too many better things that I want to brought back, like 8th Doctor getting his own tv series, more screen adventures for the crew of Serenity and maybe more Veronica Mars for television. If Bionicle did come back, they should hire Templar guys behind the original MNOLG and Faber to create fantastic new worlds and characters.
  6. I found BZPower in somewhere between 2004-2005 after I had found the other well known Bonkles fansite Destiny of Mask. I liked Destiny of Mask more because there were interesting pictures of masks and sets and it looked great. Then one day I found BZPower and years later I decided to join, only to disappear for years because I found a Finnish Bionicle group called Bioklaani. One of my closest friends are from that community and BZP has never been so important to me. I have been mostly lurking on this site and read about Greg's storyadditions that BZP has made.
  7. It's shame that you can't discuss about your headcanons and theorise about fanfics in Storyline and Theories forum, but you can discuss about Expanded Multiverse which is just a giant fanfic itsefl... Seems fair.

  8. I watch too many tv shows. Now my project is to watch through Elementary, Dollhouse and House of Cards and maybe Archer. I am such a nerd.

  9. In my opinion, characters who are greyer are mostly far more interesting than Makuta was in the Bionicle story. He sure had some great moments like the whole Time Trap book and the way he did succeed in his plan to become the Great Spirit. Those were great moments, but there were some not so great moments, mainly in the whole 2009-2010 storyline where Makuta become brainless like Megatron and Unicron. He didn't make any great master plans or anything and was defeated very easily with that deus ex machina collectible armor. And don't even make me start with his Piraka-fusion thing and the idea behind it. There are many greater villains than Makuta, but as a toy series bad guy, they did him fairly well. I don't like his "real name" (it would have worked better as a "nickname" as Theta Sigma in Doctor Who or something) but he had his moments and kept me interested in this series and buying these plastic action figures. My tastes have changed from my active years with Bionicle and Lego. Now I prefer greyer villain character such as Walter White, Tywin Lannister or Zuko from Avatar the Last Airbender. Makuta still has a place in my hearts because of nostalgia, when the Toa fight against his rahi beasts and searched for the great power masks. As a Lego villain, Makuta sure is probably the best but as in the whole fiction, no. There are far too many candidates against Makuta.
  10. When they gave Makuta name "Teridax" some form of mystery wanished from him. I compare this to the name of The Doctor. If he had been named in the Name of The Doctor episode, it would probably take away some mystery of his character. So I prefer that there are some things that won't be named in the stories that I follow/have followed. Same as Yoda's species name in Star Wars, Lucas has said that they won't name that specie ever.
  11. Kanohi Elda Mask of Moustaches. Its user can control moustaches in the known universe.
  12. First of all Teridax name sounds like a toothpaste brand. And I don't want my God of Nothing to be named after a toothpaste brand.
  13. First of all in my opinion Makuta's evolution is not evolution at all. God(s) don't need to reproduce and they are spirit beings but they did change from their trapped biomechanical bodies to gaseous spirit-forms because they found their meaning of life because they are one divided god, Mata Nui's brother. It is like the Time Lords in Doctor Who, Makuta wanted to break free from earthly bounds thus becoming spirits.
  14. Exactly why do a Terridax who never became evil and a Takanuva drained of his light fighting not make sense? Strangeness is different from nonesensicality. My point was that Greg Farshtey didn't plan to use those in the story. He has said that he didn't plan ahead of those side stories and they were the canon that is now theorised here. So Greg F is the false prophet of the BIONICLE story and Christian F is the real prophet whose ideas did make sense and were cool. Greg has damaged the Bionicle story with his alternate realities because they affected too much to the main story.

I do like Doctor Who but I find. It to be quite hit and miss and sometimes it has endings or solutions that seem too convenient

  16. Pate-Keetongu from Flickr and Eurobricks is a very talented mocist and my good friend. I am sure some of you have seen his mocs. He is one of our last mocist from our Finnish Bionicle community and has made mocs of most of our fanfic projects characters. I think that he is one of the most talented Bionicle mocists. https://www.flickr.com/photos/kumipallomaa/with/13432607704/ His flickr if you haven't seen his works jet.
  17. I was interested in this project from the start when people were making models from characters from the story and the rest of the Toa Hagah and some Dark Hunters seemed very nice, but now it seems that this project has met the same fate as the Quest for the Toa movie. It is really sad because I would have liked something from fans. That MNOG styled Tahu animation that they produced was very nice but this project was too ambitious from the start. I mean, movie about every single year of Bionicle and some side stories made by bunch of fans? With other things in life? Doomed from the beginning.
  18. Gresh and Skrall were very pointless because they were just year before released as a sets. I would have liked more a Bohrok and Lewa or Toa Iruini sets than these glatorian apes.
  19. Mask of Heisenberg. It turns its user into a megalomaniac meth king.
  20. Let's face it. While creating this great Red Star plot twist, Greg Farshtey created big mess of plot holes. But that is just our good old Gregory. We should all respect his great writing and story telling. And he is practically prophet.
  21. Red Star is like a Death Star. It fires lasers but instead of destroying planets, it creates Power Rangers from Hobbits.
  22. First of all Greg's way to bring alternate realities into the story were great and horrible idea. The Kingdom and Dark Mirror were nice, but when Makuta The White and Takanuva the Dark are battling against each other whit Mjölnirs, you know that those realities doesn't make any sense. So I like to pretend that in my headcanon alternate realities haven't affected the main Bionicle story and there have been other cuts from reality where GregF made his fanfics about golden skakdiBowser lizardking and where Red Star is giant external hard drive. I think that people should forget about strict canon and made their own headcanons like in Doctor Who, where there is so much material that nobody can ever know it all and time travel changes everything all the time.
  23. I thought that you could eat Hapori Tofu.
  24. Red Star seems very horrible thing because it makes MU beings lives pointless. You can not make any decisions about your life because even fullwilling your destiny doesn't give you peace. Even after traumatic death you just have to come back to life and continue your life. Seems very sadistic if you think about it. It would be better if the Great Beigns decided to recycle dead beings materials to new beings like atoms in our universe create new things when we die, but no. They wanted to give them immortal life. I don't like this Greg's idea to make Red Star seem like cheap external hard drive which connects to the God via USB-port. It takes away all the mystery and they didn't even entablish it in the story etc. religious practices about the star or other things. I am so glad that most of my friends doesn't think that Red Star revelation and most of 09-11 story additions are canon.
