Ninjago has often been compared to the likes of Power Rangers, and although they've had a few of their vehicle hook up together before, they've never done it in the fashion of Megazord or Voltron. Well, at least not before 71765 Ninja Ultra Combo Mech came around. Although this was part of Ninjago's not-matching-the-show's-canon Core wave, this came out a few months after the other sets so we didn't get a chance to review it last winter. But BZPower Reporter Xccj finally put it together to take a quick look at this combo mech and see if it's worth the hype. Read on or check out Instagram to find out.

Recently BZPower member Pohaturon shared one of their latest creations in the System-Based Creations forum, although it has a decidedly Bionicle twist. Go check out the Ta-Wahi Beach, which captures the look and feel of the Mata Nui Online Game in a surprisingly small number of bricks. I love the inclusion of the telescope, Mata Nui and Makuta stones, and of course Tahu's canister washed up along the beach. There's even a little easter egg for those up to date on their Bionicle references. I'd love to see a series of these vignettes that I could display in my collection!

  3. Tonight we'll be revisiting LEGO The Incredibles for our latest gaming stream. It looks like we haven't touched it since 2018 when we completed the story mode, so there's going to be a bit of a learning curve as we jump back in with Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, Violet, Dash, and Jack-Jack and work towards 100% completion. Swing by the BZPower Twitch channel starting at 7:30 PM to watch and hang out with us!

  4. Let us not forget the events of twenty-one years ago today. We were here at Kanohi-Power and BionicleZone back then, and we all lived though 9/11/01 as a community. Twenty-one years later, we are still here, members are still here - and although it's been over two decades it's important to remember what happened in the hopes that we can keep it from ever happening again. The world is now different, as is our community that has lived through a difficult time - it is important to remember all those who lost their lives.

  5. Last week we finished our playthrough of LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean, achieving 100% completion! It's time for a little break before we dive into our next game, so tonight we'll be heading back into the world of LEGO Dimensions. Swing by the BZPower Twitch channel starting around 7:30 PM Eastern to watch as we visit the DC Superheroes open world area with The Joker and Harley Quinn (and probably some other popular characters as well). We'll complete missions, collect collectibles, and do our best to have a fun time. See you all there!

  6. Writing for ScreenRant, Tanner Fox recently put together a list of the 10 Best Nintendo DS First-Person Shooters, looking back at the console's lifespan and complete catalog. Perhaps surprisingly (or perhaps not!) Bionicle Heroes, the port of the 2006 console title, makes an early appearance in the retrospective, being praised for its family-friendly content but not ranking higher due to the slightly awkward touchscreen controls. It's impressive that we keep hearing about Heroes all these years later - I wonder where it will pop up next!

  7. Ahoy mateys! It's Tuesday again at last, which means that soon we'll be heading over to the BZPower Twitch channel to play some more LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean! We're very close to finishing the game, so if lady luck shines upon us and the wind is in our sails we'll be able to finish the bonus level and get four of the five achievements we have left to get. See you starting at 7:30 PM Eastern on the high seas!

  8. If you've been looking forward to playing the LEGO beat-em-up game via Steam, Xbox One/Series X/S, PlayStation 4/5, or Nintendo Switch, then you're in luck! In less than a week you'll be able to play LEGO Brawls and create your own fighter and go up against other gamers around the globe to test your mettle. You can head to the official Brawls website and select your platform of choice to preorder, or just wait until September 2nd to put down your $40 to dive in. While I had fun with the demo, I'm not sure I'll be picking it up at launch, but I'll definitely keep my eyes peeled for a Steam or Xbox sale. I'm glad that people outside of the Apple ecosystem will finally be able to enjoy the game!

It's been a while since we've done a Ninjago review here. (In part because North America only got the set this month and LEGO didn't send us any this summer.) Still, the Ninjago Crystalize theme is quite exciting, so I'm eager to look into some of these sets. Still, our first pick is one of the more unusual entries: 71773: Kai's Golden Dragon Raider. Read on to check of the ins and outs of this vehicle and see if it's worth it, or check out Instagram for more photos and clips.

  10. Nearly sixteen years after the original release of Bionicle Heroes, Toa_Kralich and their team are still working on mods to make it better for the fans. Go check out Bionicle Heroes: Myths of Voya Nui 2.2 Release! to see the latest changes, most of which are fairly minor, as they work towards their major 3.0 release! One of these days we're going to start streaming this on Twitch Tuesday, but with so many changes happening I keep wanting to see what's next!

  11. During 810NICLE Day earlier this month, Youtuber Lees L released an awesome video where they recreated a trailer from the hit videogame Elden Ring using Bionicle stop-motion footage. Head over to their channel to watch Elden Ring E3 Trailer but it's BIONICLE to see a comparison of the two as well as the final product. The hard work and effort clearly shine through in the amazing video that's a love letter to both franchises. I can't wait to see what they make next!
