  1. Who doesn't love to spend money? Amazon thinks we should spend more, so they invented Prime Day, where they have a bunch of sales and deals to try to get you to buy things you don't need. If you want to buy some LEGO sets, check out The Brick Fan's coverage of Prime Day. Not to be left behind, LEGO is running their own specials, including another chance at the Bionicle Tahu and Takua Gift With Purchase if you spend $220 or more (with the Blacktron GWP thrown in for good measure) plus double points on certain themes. The Brick Fan has all the details on that sale too. Spend wisely!

  2. Recently Bricklink announced their MOC Pop-Up Store initiative. They will be inviting previous submissions from the Bricklink Designer Program to sell instructions for their models, and then Bricklink will make it easy to buy all the parts for them, either through Bricklink stores or LEGO Pick a Brick. While they have not announced the sets that will be available through this program, there is a chance that Sokoda's Bionicle Legends model could make the cut. We'll have to wait and see what sets will be offered!

On first glance, this seems like another superficial Marvel set. Miles doesn't even have a driver's license, much less a giant car; Spider-Man doesn't drive, he web-slings. But then I took a look at the car design, and wow it looks like a fancy Speed Champion vehicle accidentally found itself under the Marvel brand. So yeah, let's check this out.

  4. The entry period has wrapped up and now it's time to pick your favorite water-themed Bionicle creation! Tufi Piyufi has kicked off the Official BBC Contest #81 Voting! and you have until Wednesday, July 5th at 11:59 PM Eastern to choose from among the ten amazing MOCs that were entered. As I was looking through the cool creations I know I had a hard time picking a favorite, so I think every entry has a shot at coming out on top. Good luck!

Time for more Bio-Cup 2023 Preliminary Round coverage. Robots tend to be a scary subject, and I generally think we all fear that they will take our jobs, replace our society on the planet, or cast us into an unending sleep so they can take control of all the Matoran inside our bodies. From bolts to Bionicle, what follows are a few menacing mechanical MOCs that fit the theme.

Our coverage of the Bio-Cup 2023 Preliminary Round continues. On a primal level, there are many animals that we fear and thus villainize, and that could explain some of the entries here, which focus on scary bugs, felines, and other creatures of the night. Read on to see some of the creepy creatures that've been built.
