Vox was not prepared for the manner of delivery of the attack. Even though he managed to dodge the brunt of the attack, the outer edges of the electricity were enough to fry him well, causing the insectoid to lose momentary control of his muscles, and plummet towards the ground. Though of course he did not plummet straight downward, instead the impact having struck him enough to send him at an arc, away from blade, and towards one of the few standing buildings. The sheer impact of the vortixx sized insectoid hitting the building shattered one of the floors, sending him tumbling into the next floor, cracking it and causing it to become unstable. For what it was worth, Vox was still breathing, though even with the immense, newfound strength such impacts had granted him, he was still crumpled against the cracked floor, breathing heavily as he dared not rise yet, lest his body go further into shock.

Vox's eyes focused on Blade, as he watched the electricity gather in her hands, evident by the crackling and pop of well electricity. "No... " Vox murmured as he assumed what she was going for. Choosing not to hover in one location, Vox moved erratically above Blade, to make himself a harder target. Though he did pause long enough to properly aim his three Boltikons, two shots aimed for her hands, the other aimed for her head. He hoped this would be enough to distract her and accidently misfire her intended attack.

Vox cursed as his opponent did the smart thing and resorted to the more efficient power. With the speed that lightning has, there was no logical way Vox should be able to dodge such attacks... and unfortunately there wasn't. As he was hit square in the chest, the sheer power behind the electricity sent him flying backwards, though he managed to stop himself as his claws dug into the stone. Not waiting for a follow-up attack, Vox took to the air. Anyone whose ever tried to swat a fly knows just how dang quick those creatures can be despite seeming so slow. This statement was no different for this Insectoid. Hovering above the ground, Vox aimed up his Boltikons and fired several shots at Blade, while trying to predict where the next bolt of electricity might come from.

As the Electrified sword made contact with Vox's arm once more, it was enough to counter the electricity that was causing his hand to contract. Taking advantage of the second of relapse Vox swung his arm away from the shoulder as he kicked himself away from blade, landing a meter or two from her. "Hu... Should really be more careful... with your power." Vox huffed, the spot where Blade's weapon had struck visibly singed "If you aren't careful... Hu... Could be your own downfall." Shaking his head to clear away the fog, Vox reached for his three Boltikons, deciding to fight Blade more traditionally. Especially now that he's had two charges to his strength. Widening his stance, Vox held all three boltikons at different angles, ready to block or parry whatever angle Blade may attack from.

To Vox's surprise Blade managed to hang on even as he attempted to fling her away, however as she sent waves of electricity through the insectoid, she would likely discover this did just as much harm to her as it did to him. With Vox's claws having had a grip on the fighter's shoulder, when the electricity coursed through his body, it caused many of his muscles to contract. So like a vice-grip Vox's claws attempted to close tighter around the shoulder, risking severe injury to her shoulder should the barrier not hold out.

OOC: Just for clarification, is the barrier like "Skin-tight" as in instead of being a bubble it conforms around the body? "Benefit of being the only fighter capable of proper flight." Vox responded, though as Blade seemed to get into a battle ready stance, Vox too shifted. Back legs stretched out, knees barely bending. Two of his arms pressed low to the ground while the other two angled outward like tusks. His torso as flat to the ground as possible. Clearly his body was poised like a spring, ready to shoot off the moment the signal was given. And shoot it did, as Blade came within distance. As he leapt at the fighter, he angled himself so that her sword would likely make contact with his shoulders, which were protected by the thickest section of chitin, meaning her blade would likely get wedged should she strike with enough force. Ignoring the pain that coursed through him from the electricity of her blade, but also riding the increased strength the impact of the sword provided, Vox attempted to grab hold of her arms, and should he succeed carry her forward with his momentum, perform a forward roll and fling her away at the perfect arc of his flip. Keyword being "Should" of course. Who knows if his intended plan would succeed.

What started as a slight tingling quickly became a searing pain as the electricity wielded by Blade coursed through the insectoid. Crying out in pain Vox jumped back from the fighter, likely slashing at the hand that held his one arm to try and slacken her grip. Crouching low to the ground, Vox visibly shook as the electricity proceeded to dissipate, causing his muscles to spasm, hence the shaking. "My my... That was probably the smartest attack I've seen yet. Most of these other fighters would likely lash out with their weapons, but you chose the more effective route."

a sword in the gut tends to be preeeeetty lethal. so is getting said sword slashed out of you. In the words of an infamous Knight "Tis but a flesh wound."

Vox watched from above, content with the fact Timelord had abandoned his foolish endeavor. Though he found himself interested in the fight between Kuan and Imrukii. He found it... questionable that Imrukii was able to teleport behind Kuan. It is a well known fact that the Kualsi has it's weaknesses, that being it's limited range. The Kualsi was only able to teleport it's wearer to a location within their field of vision. The spot behind Kuan was technically not in his field of vision, but moreso the fighter seemed to be fighting with his eyes closed. By all rights his kualsi should not even be functioning. "How strange." Vox muttered to himself, ceasing his flight as he plummeted towards the ground, angling his body talons first, so that whatever unfortunate sod he landed atop would not only be met with crushing speed and weight, but the piercing pain of talons digging into flesh. Truly unfortunate. And it would seem said unfortunate fighter just so happened to be Blade.

"What says he was trying to kill us? To be fair you all were trying to kill him mostly, and he was just defending himself." Vox commented, though he eventually gestured towards the bubble "You realize the instant the judge or host catches wind of that, they will disable it right? Best not to try and delay the inevitable, just be mindful of where you shoot."

Vox who had been observing the battlefield, noticed Timelord teleport away. He frantically began searching for the fighter when he heard the whizzing of the "Arrow" as it shot through the air. Knowing he was the only fighter capable of true flight, It was not a far fetch to assume the arrow was meant for him. He quickly stopped flapping his wings, which were easily flapping at a rate of 250 flaps per second, much like the common bee, and allowed himself to fall through the air, thus avoiding the arrow. "Come now timelord, do you really want to make me your target? If you keep firing into the air, you will likely end up popping the very fragile bubble. You wouldn't want that now would you?"

Vox turned towards Blade, wherever she may be in the arena, brought two of his clawed fingers towards his eyes, and then directed them at her in the classic 'I'm watching you' gesture. He then took off, attempting to fly high above the city as he scouted out a suitable target.

Member Name: Vox Weapon 1: Tri-Boltikons Like Gunblades, but with axes. Power 2: Innate Kinetic Absorption - Grows stronger everytime they are hit, or they hit something. "Impact" must be an attack, versus just walking increasing his strength. Power 3: Natural Flight (Wings) - Is able to take off fairly swiftly and reach considerable speeds while flying. "Yes yes! You both have such dark and mysterious backgrounds! We get it! Just kill each other already!" Vox shouted from his own fight with Shadowvezon, still closing the distance.

It's a bit weird to realize that apparently the fire region had used corpses to build parts of their wall.. unless I'm interpreting this wrong.

Vox ducked beneath the bolt of shadow fairly easily. Shadowvezon, while protected from Vox due to sheer distance, was also at a disadvantage, as he refused to move. By not moving the pattern of his bullets were easy to account for, and predict. The shadow bolt, while unpredicted, fell into much the same category. By not moving, it followed much the same pattern as the blasts, a straight line, with very little drop or deviation. As such Vox was getting close, less than 30 feet between him and shadowvezon now, and the bullets were getting a bit harder to dodge due to distance.

Vox dodged, jumped and weaved out of the way of the blasts, with the occasional shot grazing his chitin. "Are you afraid? Is that why you refuse to take initiative and instead hide behind your blaster?" Vox commented while sprinting closer to Shadowvezon
