    Suddenly I've had an idea for a business. Pubs are boring in the UK. Is there a market for medieval themed taverns? Hogs over roasting fires, barrels of mead, wooden furniture, copper flagons.

    My favourite stand-up's probably Eddie Izzard. He has a beautifully surreal sense of humour, possibly summed up in his quote "People think I'm on drugs, but I'm not, really. Just a little coffee... put me on drugs it has the opposite effect! I start going: 'Oh! Pensions! Very sensible. And car insurance, yes...'"

    All the time. I agree with you in your liking of Dara, as he's probably my favourite stand-up comedian. I wouldn't rank Frankie as a good stand-up comedian, because he tends to need other people to bounce off of, so he's generally better as a panellist.
