It'd be weird were it to come back. Of course it'd be changed in some way to be fresh again, but we'd still have the name BIONICLE there and obviously recognize it. If anything the story and mythos will have to be streamlined for new audiences. Because I have the feeling that the vast story behind the series will be intimidating, ya know? Making it tough for someone to get into it due to not being around since the start. A fan is a fan regardless though. New or old, if you enjoy something that someone else enjoys, that's great! If you know a bit more than someone else, or you know less, that's great too! If BIONICLE does come back, it'll be something else.

Great to see us finally having this up. To those who wish to critique: Tossing in your general ideas is much appreciated, even if kept casual. I ask, though, that it be issued with substance. Coming in to say "wow guize, this rocks!11!!!" wouldn't help us improve any aspects of the games. And BBCCD: I remember your input from the last time this game was around, and I hope you'll do the same here. Seasoned spriters and concept artists are really wanted (in my head at any rate) and someone with an understanding of what a good looking sprite is. Also, I've wanted it to be to the very bare minimum of evolutions. Some actual original fakemon ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Need a planet to seek revenge on? Why not Zoidon? The bulky armoring on this guy really gives it that brutish villain look. The movable jaw is a nice touch, but I think the blades on either side make it seem crowded.

Wow. Aesthetically this is amazing. All of the tubing really gives the mechanical feel, sort of separating it from the new streamlined feel of pieces/sets now a days. The functions are neat, too. I especially like the rudder (the first function.) Though it does seem brick-like (boxy, if that makes sense.) It doesn't take away from the MOC, not at all.

Ponified Bronies
dramatic.chipmunk replied to Dragonfly the Luminescent's topic in Completely Off Topic
What I enjoy the most of these are the colors used. They catch the attention and just look plain good on the ponies. The expressions are great too, especially Utah's. Overall, these are some nice ponies, and I'd love to see more. -
If anything, I'd have to say MLP and listening to OwlCity. Being a rocker/metal head kind of guy, these are two things that I would not share IRL. And only one person knows that I have even watched MLP, and that's my ex.

Paranormal Activity 3. I never knew I'd actually scream at a film. Or close my eyes and hide from the screen. XD -
If You Could Have Just One Superpower...
dramatic.chipmunk replied to Makuta_of_Oz's topic in Completely Off Topic
Now I'm not sure, but I think I'm seeing a Scot Pilgrim sub-space reference there. As for me, I think it would either be teleportation (the style that Nightcrawler or Azazele has) or lightning abilities. Something that caan shoot outof my hands and look all awesome. :3 -
My Matoran Moc (Myself)
dramatic.chipmunk replied to No longer active's topic in Bionicle-Based Creations
It's a really simple build. It keeps to the sprite pretty much to a T, so there isn't much to comment on other than that. Like, no points to improve on. -
First of all, well done MOC. I love the custom build you made, but there are some things there that seem a little off. The hip area and lower torso seems a bit thick, mainly I think because of the Vahki hips you used. Plus the armoring on the back, which I guess was to make it look less bare. The arms are hollow, but that's no biggie on account of their construction. And the legs are strange aesthetically. That hand piece towards the end just throws it off for me. Other than some small gripes, I think this thing is a good build.

Preliminary Poll Xplode

Number eight. It's just so much of a power house of a MOC. -
Preliminary Poll Stringer
dramatic.chipmunk replied to Than the Moa's topic in September 2017 Flickr Contest Voting
I feel like entry five is being over looked. While it's not some beast of a MOC, like four or eight, it flows so well with the HF theme. The parts mesh well, giving it that streamlined look. So that got my vote. -
Preliminary Poll Von Nebula
dramatic.chipmunk replied to Than the Moa's topic in September 2017 Flickr Contest Voting
Nulled. Most of these MOCs just don't look right. Yes, they use the pieces and fit the theme, but aesthetically they don't sit right. Herpeto is getting the votes on account of how cool it looks, and I don't think it's based on how much of an effort they put into it. Then again, it's just my opinion. -
Preliminary Poll Rotor
dramatic.chipmunk replied to Than the Moa's topic in September 2017 Flickr Contest Voting
The Quaza Crawler got my vote. The build uses the HF pieces well, and while the Night Wolf does look like a great build, it just seems overly complicated. And for some reason, the head just throws the build off for me. -
Following what Zarohum said. I like the innovative use of the canister, and how the frame is pretty solid. Your connections work well in the MOC, like the tub to the left. Overall, it's a nice little display kind of MOC.

I felt at first that the demographic was missed when they set it on Cartoon Network. Watching it, I kinda got proven right, since I love the show. Comparing it to Quintel's two short animations that spawned the show, they seem pretty close.

Official My Little Pony topic
dramatic.chipmunk replied to ~Allegretto~'s topic in Completely Off Topic
The best part about the whole Pony invasion of the internets is that it's spreading to my favorite sites, and now BZP is one of them. My old girlfriend got me to watch the show. One of the better decisions of my life. Fluttershy. Nuff' said.- 7,775 replies

Hi, I was wondering if I could please get a review for this Mech.... thing. Thanks. ~Dramatic.Chipmunk -
Ah, wow. That was so good. But one thing is just getting me. Did the EL's have a character design yet? Same thing with the three new Glatorian. Are there any, rough depictions of them? Like preliminary designs? Anywho, I wish this was made. It would have been great to see. And BIONICLE dinosaurs FTW like everyone else said!
