They finished it eventually. =P I think the Manga was getting too close at that point, though they sure took their sweet time finishing it... I need to eventually watch all of Inuyasha, now that it's mentioned.(They did something similar, though; finished it at a point where it looked like everything was over. It obviously wasn't, but... =P)

Ah, I see; well, hopefully. I don't have that much hope, but series get rebooted all the time, so hopefully at SOME point it'l...

it'll be finished, though... Why they didn't just go for filler as usual is a very good question, as that's odd.

Maybe they ran out out of good filler material... One can only hope.
